Building a Technological Power Starting with the Type 59 missile and Going Astray in Technological Development

Chapter 109 Lin Chenran: Everything is under control, Eagle sauce? It's also in the planChapter 109 Lin Chenran: Everything is under control, Eagle sauce? It’s also within the plan

Shane Karl still didn’t believe the test data of the Apocalypse Tank mentioned in the intelligence.

He looked at the information in his hand and muttered to himself: ”Impossible, absolutely impossible...”

Especially in terms of the armored defense of the Apocalypse Tank, Shane Karl felt that this was simply a fantasy.

”This is too outrageous!”

He stared at the data in the intelligence with wide eyes, thinking to himself: ”How come our own M1 tanks can’t penetrate the defensive armor of the Apocalypse tanks at close range?”

Even though the M1 tanks in the hands of Saudi Arabia in the Camel area are export versions of tanks.

The performance is 20% lower than the self-use model, but there is no reason why it cannot penetrate the armored defense of the Apocalypse Tank!
That is a real 125mm smoothbore gun.

”Valere, is the information really correct?”

Shane Karl frowned, his eyes full of doubt and confusion.

There was a hint of disbelief in his tone, as if he was expecting Valere to give a reasonable explanation.

Valere stood aside, nodded seriously, and responded: ”Commander Karl, I didn’t believe it at first, but the intelligence passed back by several elite intelligence personnel showed that it was indeed true.”

He paused, then continued, ”Besides, the intelligence has been verified and confirmed many times, so there shouldn’t be too much deviation.”

Shane Karl fell silent, thinking to himself: ”If the intelligence is true, then this new tank will take away a lot of tank orders from us.”

”Especially Yan Country agreed to help Saudi Country build a complete tank production line in the Camel Region.”

”Shit! This is even more difficult than Yanguo designing and developing a second-generation main battle tank.”

This special material can be used on tanks, so it can also be used on other weapons and equipment.

This can greatly improve the level of Yan State’s weapons equipment.

This gave Shane Karl a headache.

Although Yan Country and Eagle Sauce are still in the honeymoon period, the relationship between countries is always based on interests first, and the so-called friendship is only a temporary appearance.

Once core interests are involved, the attitudes of both sides will change.

As Yan’s weapons and equipment continue to improve, its impact on the world pattern is becoming increasingly greater, especially for a big country like the United States.

When the weapons and equipment level of Yan Country increases, it will undoubtedly be a huge challenge for the Eagle Sauce.

”Captain Karl, this matter must be reported to our superiors!” Valere Berna said anxiously.

”That’s right, this kind of thing is beyond our scope of responsibility.” Shane Karl agreed.

Valere Berna pointed upwards, indicating that such a major matter should be handled by higher-level leaders.

Seeing this, Shane Karl’s eyes flashed with excitement: ”Indeed, we must report it immediately!”

Then, the two of them looked at each other with sly smiles.

……

After this information was reported to the top leaders of the United States, it was not taken seriously at first and was even regarded as nonsense.

But as they read further, the top brass began to be shocked.

”What? Yan Country’s tank technology is so powerful?”

”Yan Country’s material technology is so advanced?”

After repeated confirmation, the top leaders of the United States finally realized that Yan Country had made breakthrough progress in the field of special steels and was far ahead of other countries.

Even the export version of the Apocalypse tank can withstand the bombardment of the exported M1 tank’s 125mm smoothbore gun, and the bombardment of armor-piercing shells, and remain safe and sound.

So, just mobilize the intelligence personnel directly.

This is too dangerous!
Also, according to the nature of Yan Country’s ”Old Six”, the metal material of this special tank is definitely not its most advanced material.

It will definitely keep something in reserve.

……

At the same time, the Yan State military also received intelligence at the same time.

”This……”

Immediately afterwards, the phone in Lin Chenran’s office rang.

……

At this time, Lin Chenran and Song Xiyun were discussing the production arrangements for the Apocalypse tank and the Wing Loong aircraft. Suddenly, the phone on the desk rang.

Lin Chenran and Song Xiyun stopped discussing.

Immediately afterwards, Lin Chenran came to the table, picked up the phone and answered it.

”Hello! Hello, who are you looking for?”

Lin Chenran asked with a smile.

”Lin boy, it’s me!”

A familiar voice came from the other end of the phone. Yes, it was Mr. Wei, the head of the military equipment department of Yan State.

”Master Wei, what do you want me to do?”

Lin Chenran was secretly shocked. It was Old Wei again!
”what!”

Mr. Wei said jokingly: ”You definitely don’t want to answer my call.”

”how could be!”

Lin Chenran denied it again and again!
He immediately expressed that he enjoyed listening to the other party’s teachings.

”Really?”

”Forehead?”

Mr. Wei’s hearty smile came from the other end of the phone.

”You kid...”

”I’ll make it short...”

Then, Mr. Wei told Lin Chenran that the Eagle Sauce already knew about the Apocalypse Tank and that the other party had arranged intelligence personnel to conduct an in-depth investigation of the Apocalypse Tank, and asked for his opinion.

”The Apocalypse Tank has been exposed?”

Lin Chenran asked excitedly.

”Hey! You kid, something is wrong! The Apocalypse tank has been exposed, why are you still excited?”

Old Wei was puzzled, but after a while, he suddenly understood and guessed Lin Chenran’s intention.

”You guys don’t want to sell a large number of Apocalypse tanks, do you?”

”You kid, you really have a lot of tricks!”

Lin Chenran smiled slightly: ”How could that be!”

”Thank you for the praise, Mr. Wei.”

That’s right, this is Lin Chenran’s intention, to let the United States and other countries “advertise” their own Apocalypse tanks, so that other countries will know how powerful the Apocalypse tanks are.

Then they rushed to cooperate with the 077 Mechanical Military Factory to purchase the Apocalypse tank.

”Don’t let yourself get exhausted, kid!”

Old Wei gave Lin Chenran a slight warning, asking him to stop being so cocky and to be more vigilant so as not to be ”taken advantage of” by others.

”Mr. Wei, our 077 Mechanical Military Factory has paid the full ’protection fee’. Your military should not ignore us, right?”

Lin Chenran showed an expression of being calm in the face of difficulties.

Old Wei laughed and cursed: ”So that’s how it is, you, kid, even took our military into account, good~good!”

”It is indeed a child of the Lin family. The disciple is better than the master. Old Lin should be very pleased.”

Hearing this, Lin Chenran became panicked: ”No, no, no, Mr. Wei, I didn’t plot against the military. If you say that, I’m done for!”

”You will be scared, kid. Sun Wukong is not as capable as you. You have planned it all from the beginning! Even Eagle Sauce has become one of your propaganda methods.”

……

After joking, Mr. Wei went straight to the point.

”We will raise the security around your 077 Mechanical Arsenal to a higher level. A battalion of soldiers will be stationed around you.”

”Also, after being notified by your superiors, you can temporarily mobilize this force. Of course, you need to report it.”

Mr. Wei announced the decision directly on the phone.
