Building a Technological Power Starting with the Type 59 missile and Going Astray in Technological Development

Chapter 145: It’s expensive for a reason, absolutely worth the money!Chapter 145: It’s expensive for a reason, absolutely worth the money!
Abdulba is eager for the Z-20 heavy-duty helicopter to be put into production as soon as possible.

The Camel Region is now like a huge ”powder barrel”. If you are not careful, it will explode. The Saudi Arabian government has always wanted to have a rapid response force in the Camel Region to deal with problems quickly so that these problems will not become sparks that ignite the ”powder barrel”.

”Abdul, don’t worry, we will try our best to complete various tests of the Z-20 heavy helicopter and complete the mission with quality and quantity.”

Lin Chenran patted his chest and answered affirmatively.

This is a large order, which is a very important business for any military-industrial enterprise, so Lin Chenran will definitely devote 200% of his attention to it.

Once the Z-20 heavy helicopters are deployed in Saudi Arabia in the Camel area, the amount of money earned by the 077 Mechanical Military Factory from the other party will definitely exceed more than billion US dollars.

This is equivalent to one-third of the ”party dues” that the Saudi Kingdom in the Camel area previously paid to the Yan Kingdom’s military.

”It will take about half a month for the Z-20 heavy helicopter to be mass-produced.” Lin Chenran continued. This was his guarantee to Abdul, and also a display of confidence in the strength of his own 077 Machinery Military Factory.

”Okay, this speed is good, Lin. I hope to see good news from you in half a month.” Upon hearing this, Abdul excitedly held Lin Chenran’s hand.

He expects the Z-20 heavy-duty helicopter to be put into use as soon as possible to escort Saudi Arabia’s security in the Camel region.

……

Lin Chenran stood at the gate of the 077 Mechanical Military Factory, watching calmly as the Saudi Arabian Rolls-Royce convoy in the Camel area went farther and farther away.

Behind him stood a group of staff members in uniform, their eyes revealing their expectations and confidence for the future.

As the convoy disappeared from sight, Lin Chenran turned around and led everyone into the conference room of the 077 Mechanical Arsenal.

An important meeting is about to be held here to connect with the Yan State military.

Faced with such an excellent heavy helicopter, the Yan State military will definitely have a strong interest in it and consider purchasing a batch to enhance the country’s military strength.

Although the Yan State military may not have abundant funds on hand, the demand for such advanced equipment cannot be ignored.

After entering the meeting room, everyone took their seats.

Led by Mr. Wei and Mr. Zhang, everyone applauded enthusiastically. The applause was like thunder, echoing throughout the conference room.

This applause was both a recognition of Lin Chenran and his team’s hard work and a congratulations on the achievements of the 077 Mechanical Arsenal.

The 077 Machinery Military Factory successfully won a huge order from Saudi Arabia in the Camel region with its Z-20 heavy helicopter, with a value of more than US$6 million.

This achievement is undoubtedly remarkable and also proves the strong strength of the 077 Mechanical Arsenal.

Today it has become a veritable ”treasure pot”, attracting a lot of attention and envy.

The Yan State military naturally also salivated over the profitability of the 077 Mechanical Military Factory.

They couldn’t help but lament that this factory made money too easily, while in comparison, other third-line military factories in Yan Country failed to achieve the same economic benefits.

Is this really a human problem?

Or is it a human problem?
However, Lin Chenran did not interrupt the applause. He felt that this was a kind of respect and recognition for the Z-20 heavy helicopter project team.

They deserve this treatment.

They made great contributions to the 077 Mechanical Arsenal, successfully developed the Z-20 heavy helicopter, and brought in huge profits.

They fully deserve this little applause.

After a while, seeing that the atmosphere was about right, Lin Chenran waved his hand, a smile appeared on his face, and said, ”Thank you very much for the enthusiastic applause.”

”No matter how loud your applause is, our 077 Machinery Arsenal will not lower the sales price of the Z-20 heavy helicopter.”

As soon as these words were spoken, there was a burst of laughter in the conference room.

Everyone was amused by Lin Chenran’s humorous words.

The Z-20 heavy helicopter has indeed performed extremely well and can be used not only by the army but also by the navy. Currently, the Aegis missile destroyer is in the intensive construction stage, but due to the lack of an advanced helicopter to match it, the entire project is in trouble.

The Z-5 helicopter that has been in service obviously cannot meet the needs of the new ship, and the navy does not intend to allow it to board the ship.

Because its performance has not kept up with the pace of the times and cannot cooperate perfectly with the Aegis missile destroyer.

The advent of the Z-20 heavy helicopter has brought new hope to the Yan State Navy.

This new helicopter has powerful functions and superior performance, which can directly enhance the combat effectiveness of the Aegis missile destroyer.

Of course, the 077 Machinery Arsenal will also need to make some small-scale improvements to the existing Z-20 heavy helicopters to adapt them to the warship environment and perform at their best.

Immediately afterwards, everyone started a meeting to discuss the Yan State military’s purchase of the Z-077 heavy helicopters from the 20 Machinery Military Factory.

Mr. Wei asked directly, ”What is the price of the Z-20 heavy helicopter?”

When Elder Wei asked, all the Yan State high-ranking officials at the scene stared at Lin Chenran, hoping to get the results they wanted from him.

”Forehead?”

”You all look at me like that, and I’m a little nervous.”

Lin Chenran scratched his head and smiled bitterly.

”cut!”

Everyone looked at him with contempt.

Will Lin Chenran be nervous?

Come on, how is this possible? How can you be so nervous when you are so thick-skinned!

”2000 million Yanbi for a Z-20 heavy helicopter.”

Seeing this, Lin Chenran directly revealed his price.

”What the hell?”

”Twenty million Yan coins?”

The Yan State military leaders were so shocked that their jaws almost dropped to the ground.

”This is too expensive!” someone couldn’t help but exclaim.

The cost of a Z-20 heavy helicopter is as high as million Yanbi, which is equivalent to to million US dollars! This number is really staggering.

Due to changes in the international situation and economic environment, the exchange rate between Yanbi and the US dollar has been fluctuating.

In recent times, the exchange rate of Yanbi against the US dollar has continued to decline, causing the originally expensive US dollar to become even more expensive.

Calculated in Yanbi, the price of a Z-20 heavy helicopter has also risen sharply.

”Lin boy, don’t force me to beat you!”

Mr. Wei widened his eyes and said angrily: ”How can the price of a Z-20 heavy helicopter be so high?”

He couldn’t accept the staggering price.

Twenty million Yan coins for a Z-20 heavy helicopter is undoubtedly a heavy burden for the Yan State military.

According to the equipment plan of the Yan State military, at least one hundred such helicopters are needed to meet the demand.

If purchased at the current price, just purchasing these helicopters would cost 2 billion Yan coins!
This huge expenditure has caused great difficulties for the top military officials.
