Building a Technological Power Starting with the Type 59 missile and Going Astray in Technological Development

Chapter 118: Mr. Wei: I’m here to collect money!!!Chapter 118: Mr. Wei: I’m here to collect money!!!
At the same time, the Russian top brass, thousands of miles away, also received intelligence sent back by the Saudi military experts they sent to the Camel region, as well as detailed information from the KGB spy organization.

When the Russian leaders learned that Yan Country’s Apocalypse tanks could withstand the bombardment of the Eagle Sauce’s 125mm smoothbore gun at close range and remain unharmed, they were shocked.

When they carefully checked the information about the Apocalypse tank engine and 125mm smoothbore gun, they all smiled in surprise.

It turns out that the engine and smoothbore gun used in Yan Country’s Apocalypse tank are both Soviet products, especially the 125mm smoothbore gun.

They even produce it themselves and export it to Yan Country.

In this way, the top leaders of the Russian Federation will no longer feel nervous or worried.

On the contrary, they hope that Yan Country’s Apocalypse Tank can sell well all over the world.

With every Apocalypse Tank sold, they make more profit.

In addition, the subsequent maintenance and replacement of accessories of the Apocalypse Tank will also depend on them.

As long as they want, they can cut off the supply to Yan Country at any time and take control of the situation.

As for the special steel used in the defensive armor of the Apocalypse Tank, although the Russians are quite interested, they believe that this kind of steel is not necessary.

The Russian top brass are very confident in their own special tank steel.

They also believe that Yan Country is not far ahead in terms of special tank steel.

The fact that it was able to resist the 1mm smoothbore gun of the Eagle Sauce’s M125 tank in the test was most likely because Yan Country had added thicker steel plates to the Apocalypse tank.

To minimize the risk.

The top leaders of the Russian government decided to take action.

They decided to send two additional T72 tank regiments to garrison in the border area bordering Yan State to ensure the security of the border.

Even if Yan Country’s Apocalypse Tank really takes action, the Russian Bear will be able to respond in time.

……

Lin Chenran, who had just returned from the Sand Country in the Camel Region, was ”blocked” in his office by the Yan Country military as soon as he returned to the country.

As soon as he walked into the office, he saw an old man in military uniform and with a serious face sitting at his desk.

This old man is none other than Mr. Wei, the head of the military equipment department of Yan State.

Lin Chenran had an awkward smile on his face.

He quickly walked up to him and said, ”Uh? Mr. Wei, why are you in my office?”

Elder Wei looked at Lin Chenran and said seriously, ”Why can’t I be in your office?”

Then he asked, ”Is the Camel Region Sand Country fun?”

Hearing this, cold sweat instantly broke out on Lin Chenran’s forehead.

He thought to himself, ”Damn it! Who said that domestic intelligence personnel’s investigative capabilities are weaker abroad? I’m the first to disagree. As soon as I landed, I was blocked by Mr. Wei. This...”

Then, Elder Wei smiled slightly, with a sly look in his eyes: ”Lin boy, I have to congratulate you on your fortune! You just went to the Camel Region Saudi Kingdom and won an order worth hundreds of millions of US dollars.”

When Lin Chenran heard this, he thought to himself, ”It’s over! He found out!”

But he still pretended to be calm and smiled and said, ”Oh? Mr. Wei, please stop joking. This order worth hundreds of millions of dollars has not even started yet.”

”The customer is only interested in the Apocalypse tanks from our 077 Machinery and Military Factory. It is hard to say whether they will purchase them.”

After hearing this, Mr. Wei raised his lips slightly, and a smile flashed in his eyes: ”Haha, do you think I will believe it?”

Seeing this, Lin Chenran hurriedly continued to explain: ”Really, Mr. Wei, how dare I lie to you! I am the honest little prince, every word I say is absolutely trustworthy.” After saying this, he deliberately put on an innocent look.

Mr. Wei couldn’t help but laugh out loud: ”Pah~”

For a moment, the whole office was filled with a cheerful atmosphere, and Lin Chenran and Mr. Wei laughed one after another, as if even the air was filled with joyful molecules. After the joke, Lin Chenran and Mr. Wei began to discuss seriously.

”Lin, to be honest, I admire you a lot. I didn’t expect that I could negotiate several big orders for you this time.”

Mr. Wei said with deep emotion, his eyes full of admiration.

Lin Chenran’s performance was excellent. Among the younger generation, he was far ahead.

Hearing Elder Wei’s praise, Lin Chenran quickly waved his hands and said, ”No, no, no, you are embarrassing me. I can’t bear such high praise from you.”

Lin Chenran knows his own business, and he knows exactly how capable he is!

”Then I don’t care about you. Anyway, our military has already considered you have reached an agreement.”

Mr. Wei spoke directly and unreasonably.

”This……”

”Mr. Wei, you are forcing me to do this? This is robbery!”

Lin Chenran felt instantly angry when he heard this. This was like ”catching a dead chicken” for the 077 Mechanical Arsenal to eat.

Is the Yan country’s military so short of money now?
Just robbed him directly?
The military of the Yan State has always been short of military funds, and it wishes that the military funds it has could be divided into three parts to spend.

Especially after the Yan Country Navy decided to build missile destroyers, the limited military funds were directly ”squeezed dry”.

”That’s not your fault, 077 Mechanical Arsenal. You developed the Tianzhu automatic tracking rocket launcher, which caused a huge reaction in the navy. There was a phone call every day, a request telegram every three days, and the senior navy officials went to the chief to complain once a week.”

”Look, the chief has also gotten fed up with this, and has directly approved the Navy to design and develop an advanced missile destroyer, with a priority of producing two.”

As Mr. Wei spoke, he became more and more disrespectful.

The already limited military budget was ”drained” by the Yan State Navy to build new missile destroyers.

Just now, Mr. Wei heard that the 077 Mechanical Military Factory had negotiated several large orders with Saudi Arabia in the Camel area, so he came directly to ”block the door” and extort money.

”Mr. Wei, if your military doesn’t have the funds, you can just not design and manufacture a new type of missile destroyer!”

”You can’t put the blame on us, our 077 Mechanical Arsenal!”

”Now we are wrong in designing and developing the Tianzhu automatic tracking rocket launcher?”

Lin Chenran asked back angrily.

The Yan country’s military is obviously making excuses!

”In a word, can you give me some support?”

”Also, your 077 Mechanical Military Factory gave our military’s Apocalypse tanks to the Saudi country in the Camel region first, so our military didn’t have any use for them.”

“This needs to be compensated!”

Mr. Wei blushed, but turned around and disappeared without a trace. He asked directly back.

Then, Mr. Wei handed Lin Chenran a piece of intelligence about the Russians deploying two additional tank regiments on the border and asked him to take a look at it.

”Hey!”

People under the eaves have to bow their heads!

Lin Chenran sighed deeply: ”As long as the order is completed, there will definitely be a share for your military.”

This is considered “spending money to ward off disaster”!
When Mr. Wei saw that Lin Chenran agreed, a bright smile appeared on his face.

That’s right!
