Building a Technological Power Starting with the Type 59 missile and Going Astray in Technological Development

Chapter 125: Mr. Wei: Damai, I can’t invite you!!!Chapter 125: Mr. Wei: Damai, I can’t invite you!!!
Song Xiyun smiled slightly: ”How can it be easy?” He paused and said, ”You also know that the research on helicopters in China has always been slow, and there is a severe shortage of talent.”

Lin Chenran nodded to show his understanding.

”I don’t know whether the other party will look down upon our makeshift team that hasn’t even been established yet.” After saying that, Lin Chenran smiled bitterly and shook his head helplessly.

He knew in his heart that this invitation was very difficult, but he had to try.

Then, Lin Chenran took a deep breath and called the head of the Yan State’s military equipment department, Mr. Wei.

Soon, a hearty laugh came from the other end of the phone: ”Lin boy, it’s a bit surprising that you would call me!”

Hearing this familiar voice, Lin Chenran raised the corners of his mouth slightly and said, ”Hello, Mr. Wei.”

Afterwards, Elder Wei seemed to have guessed Lin Chenran’s intention and gave him a ”vaccination” directly, smiling slightly: ”If you want to ask me to do something, just say it, but I may not be able to help.”

Hearing this, Lin Chenran smiled bitterly and said, ”Mr. Wei, you don’t have to reject me so quickly. You need to listen to my needs.”

Elder Wei hesitated for a moment, then started to curse: ”You kid, you really don’t come to the temple for no reason. You come here to ask for support as soon as something happens.”

Lin Chenran smiled bitterly and thought: As expected, my thoughts have been guessed.

”Speak!” Considering that Lin Chenran had helped him several times before and had not embarrassed him, Mr. Wei allowed the other party to state his demands.

”Mr. Wei, our 077 Mechanical Military Factory has begun preparing to start the project for a new type of helicopter and is ready to start designing and developing it.”

Lin Chenran took the initiative to let Mr. Wei know that he was looking for him because of the new helicopter project.

”Really?”

Mr. Wei didn’t expect that the 077 Mechanical Military Factory would start the project of the new helicopter so quickly.

”That’s absolutely true, but...”

Lin Chenran paused deliberately, which made Mr. Wei on the other end of the phone anxious. How could there be a previous sentence but no next sentence?
But what?

All the little thoughts in Mr. Wei’s heart were aroused.

”You kid, if you have something to say, come on. If not, I’ll hang up. I have a meeting to get ready to start.” Mr. Wei was ready to hang up the phone without hesitation.

”No, no, no, Mr. Wei, no! You haven’t finished yet!” Lin Chenran said hurriedly.

”You also know that our 077 Mechanical Military Factory has a relatively weak foundation, so I need the military to help me find some aerospace talents.” Lin Chenran said sincerely: ”Otherwise, it will be difficult for our 077 Mechanical Military Factory’s helicopter project to proceed.”

”Need someone?” Upon hearing this, Old Wei frowned and fell into deep thought.

In his impression, the 077 Mechanical Arsenal does lack aerospace talents.

”So what do you think?” Mr. Wei did not agree directly, but kicked the ”ball” back to Lin Chenran, asking him to speak out his inner thoughts.

”Mr. Wei, I’m thinking that if there are any third-tier military factories in the aerospace industry that can’t survive, we can absorb them and make them part of our 077 Mechanical Military Factory.” Lin Chenran stated his demands directly.

He knew very well that if the 077 Mechanical Military Factory wanted to build on the helicopter project, it would need a group of aerospace talents.

”The aviation military factory that is about to close down?”

When Mr. Wei heard this request, he was stunned.

This is a rather tricky problem!
After all, he was an experienced old leader who had a general understanding of the military factories under his control and quickly came to his senses.

After some thought, Mr. Wei finally thought of two aviation military factories that were about to go bankrupt, and they were very suitable for the needs of the 077 Mechanical Military Factory and were simply tailor-made.

”811 Aviation Military Factory and 092 Aviation Military Factory, these two military factories should be able to meet your needs.” said Mr. Wei. (Remember 81192!!!)
Hearing these two names, Lin Chenran fell into deep thought.

He carefully recalled the information about the two military factories.

Yes, these two military factories are not far from the 077 Machinery Military Factory, both in Linjiang Province.

Both the 811 Aviation Military Factory and the 092 Aviation Military Factory have a glorious history, but due to various reasons, they are now facing difficulties and are about to close down. Mr. Wei continued, ”These two aviation military factories still have a foundation, but it is difficult to transform, and now they are on the verge of closing down.”

”Mr. Wei, then let’s go with these two military factories!”

”We at 077 Mechanical Arsenal will not treat them unfairly.”

Lin Chenran made a direct promise to Mr. Wei.

”No problem. I’ll have the military issue a notice then.”

”And you should also be prepared to receive it.”

This is a win-win situation for everyone, as it can not only solve the problems of the 811 Aviation Military Factory and the 092 Aviation Military Factory, but also increase aerospace talents for the 077 Mechanical Military Factory, killing two birds with one stone.

The Yan State military is very happy to do this!
”No problem. I will notify them and will definitely not let the 811 Aviation Military Factory and the 092 Aviation Military Factory suffer any loss.”

Lin Chenran patted his chest and answered affirmatively.

Then Lin Chenran asked Mr. Wei for people again!
This time, it is not a large number of aerospace talents, but top aerospace talents.

Upon hearing this, Elder Wei immediately scolded Lin Chenran: ”How dare you target them?”

”What’s the matter? Why are you floating like that?”

What Lin Chenran was talking about were two top aviation talents, Wang Shicun and Yao Zhicheng.

Especially Wang Shicun, he is a Yan country helicopter technology expert, aviation educator, pioneer in China’s helicopter technology industry, one of the founders of the helicopter profession and academic leader.

Known as: the father of Yan State helicopter.

Now Lin Chenran shamelessly asked Mr. Wei to help invite Mr. Wang to come to the 077 Mechanical Military Factory to become the chief engineer of their helicopter project!

Who gives you the courage?

Another top aviation talent, Yao Zhicheng, is a designer at the Shenyang Aircraft Corporation and has rich design experience.

Will Shenfei Military Factory let him leave and then join 077 Machinery Military Factory?
No need to think about it!

”Lin boy, have you been a little bit drifting lately?”

”I can’t do it. I can’t do what you ask!”

Mr. Wei refused righteously.

”No! Mr. Wei, only if you take action, will Mr. Wang and Mr. Yao have the chance to come to our 077 Mechanical Military Factory to serve as chief engineers. You don’t want our factory’s helicopter project to fail, do you?”

”Also, I have a lot of new ideas, and this time our 077 Machinery Military Factory has invested heavily to design and develop two helicopters at once.”

In order to invite Wang Shicun and Yao Zhicheng to the 077 Mechanical Military Factory, Lin Chenran tried his best!
”what?”

”Lin boy, you are right, right?”

”Your 077 Mechanical Military Factory is developing two types of helicopters at the same time?”

Upon hearing this, Mr. Wei found it unbelievable.

How can this be?

Who gives you the courage?

When you have no talent, you brag about developing two types of helicopters at the same time.
