Building a Technological Power Starting with the Type 59 missile and Going Astray in Technological Development

Chapter 144: As expected of a big dog owner, he spent 6 million US dollars to buy 50 helicoptersChapter 144: As expected of a big dog owner, he spent 6 million US dollars to buy 50 helicopters
The propeller of the Z-20 heavy helicopter was able to start normally, which means it has successfully passed the first hurdle.

As the propeller rotated, people’s eyes were focused on this huge and spectacular helicopter.

Immediately afterwards, under the expectant gaze of everyone, the Z-20 heavy helicopter began to slowly take off.

Its fuselage gradually left the ground and flew into the sky. At this moment, warm cheers and applause rang out at the scene.

This time the cheers were even louder than last time because everyone saw the Z-20 heavy helicopter take off successfully.

Especially the engineers from the Z-077 heavy helicopter project of the 20 Machinery Arsenal, they cheered with excitement.

They hugged each other and celebrated this important moment.

These engineers went through countless days and nights of hard work and struggle to make the Z-20 heavy helicopter come into being.

Now they watched it successfully take off, their hearts filled with pride and joy.

Only they themselves know the hardships and difficulties involved in imitating the Eagle Sauce Chinook heavy helicopter and manufacturing the Z-20 heavy helicopter.

Although Lin Chenran provided them with very detailed information on the Chinook heavy helicopter, they still needed to make a lot of changes and testing work to ensure that the Z-20 heavy helicopter could surpass the Eagle Sauce’s Chinook heavy helicopter.

Every improvement is a challenge, but also the driving force for them to keep moving forward.

As the test pilot sat in the cockpit, his mood gradually changed from being nervous and uneasy at the beginning to being bold and confident.

He felt the powerful performance and stability of the Z-20 heavy-duty helicopter and was full of confidence in the upcoming flight mission.

As the helicopter continued to rise, the test pilot skillfully operated various control devices, allowing the Z-20 heavy helicopter to display flexible and changeable postures in the air.

This made the people below even more excited.

The Z-20 heavy helicopter is really cool in Thailand!!!

After flying for ten minutes, the test pilot slowly landed the Z-20 heavy helicopter on the apron.

At this time, Lin Chenran smiled and looked at Abdul and said, ”How is it? Abdul, is our Z-20 heavy helicopter very powerful?”

This sentence may seem simple, but it contains deep meaning.

Lin Chenran was showing off his country’s Z-20 heavy helicopter to Abdul, and was also asking him if he was interested in purchasing this Z-077 heavy helicopter designed and developed by his own 20 Machinery Military Factory.

After hearing Lin Chenran’s words, Abdul raised his lips slightly, showing a hint of smile and responded: ”Lin, your factory’s Z-20 heavy helicopter is really cool! I can’t wait to introduce it to our country.”

For a country, having a helicopter with excellent performance and powerful capabilities is undoubtedly of great significance.

Helicopters have irreplaceable advantages, especially in terms of transportation and rapid arrival at destinations.

Abdul is well aware of the value of the Z-20 heavy helicopter and has expressed great interest in it.

Then, Abdul asked without hesitation: ”What is the price of this Z-20 heavy helicopter?”

If the price is reasonable, Saudi Arabia will consider purchasing a large number of Z-20 straight-body aircraft.

Lin Chenran directly revealed a price: ”The price of the basic configuration of the Z-20 heavy helicopter is 1200 million US dollars.”

”Five million dollars?”

Abdul’s face showed shock and his mouth opened wide enough to fit an egg.

He couldn’t help but exclaim.

This was not because the price was too expensive. On the contrary, he was surprised because he felt that the Z-20 heavy helicopter was too cheap.

Prior to this, Saudi Arabia in the Camel region had asked the Eagle Sauce about the price of the Chinook heavy helicopter.

At that time, the Eagle Sauce unceremoniously offered a staggering price of 3000 million US dollars.

The Eagle Sauce seems to have regarded the Saudi Arabian Kingdom in the Camel Region as a fat sheep to be slaughtered, and has raised the price wantonly in an attempt to make huge profits. Faced with such a high offer, the senior officials of the Saudi Arabian Kingdom in the Camel Region fell into deep thought.

They carefully weighed the pros and cons, and after some deep consideration, they finally decided to accept this outrageous price and were willing to pay 3000 million US dollars to purchase the Chinook heavy helicopter from the Eagle Sauce.

Despite their dissatisfaction, they still made concessions considering the country’s security and development needs.

However, things did not go according to plan.

Just when Saudi Arabia was preparing to sign a contract with the United States in the Camel area, an accident occurred.

The Eagles suddenly changed their minds and rejected Saudi Arabia’s proposal to export Chinook heavy helicopters to the Camel region.

This sudden change caught the Saudi Kingdom in the Camel Region off guard, and the long-awaited deal came to nothing.

What makes Saudi Arabia in the Camel Region even more angry is that the reasons given by the Eagle Sauce are simply ridiculous.

They claimed that exporting Chinook heavy helicopters to Saudi Arabia in the Camel region would lead to a significant increase in instability in the entire Camel region and might even lead to a deterioration of the regional situation.

Such remarks are undoubtedly a kind of contempt and disrespect to the Saudi Kingdom in the Camel Region, making them feel extremely disappointed and indignant.

Camel Region Saudi Arabia: That’s not what you said when you made money from me.

As long as they introduce the Z-20 heavy helicopters from Yan Country, the Saudi Country in the Camel Region will no longer have to rely on the Eagle Sauce in the field of helicopters.

After all, they not only imported the finished Z-20 heavy helicopters, but also its technology and production lines.

……

Lin Chenran looked at Abdul who was in deep thought and couldn’t help but feel puzzled.

The price of the Z-20 heavy helicopter is very favorable, but why does Abdul look surprised?

”Lin, we want to start with 50 Z-20 heavy helicopters.”

Abdul thought for a moment and gave his answer.

The bare-metal price of 50 Z-20 heavy helicopters is as high as 6 million US dollars!

This is the price of a bare-metal Z-20 heavy helicopter.

This does not include weapons, missiles, and other after-sales services.

It also did not include the later visit to the Camel area in Saudi Arabia to build a production workshop for the Z-20 heavy helicopter.

According to the calculation, after completing one set, the 077 Machinery Military Factory directly negotiated a large order worth 10 billion US dollars.

”Abdul, I believe the Z-20 heavy helicopter will not let you down.”

”You also know that our Z-20 heavy-duty helicopter is an upgrade of the Eagle Sauce’s Chinook heavy-duty helicopter. In terms of performance, we are far superior to the latter.”

When Lin Chenran heard that Abdul wanted 50 Z-20 heavy helicopters, he was extremely excited and a bright smile appeared on his face.

Earn hundreds of millions of US dollars in one go!

As expected, selling arms is the most profitable.

”Lin, I hope your factory can conduct various test flights on the Z-20 heavy helicopter as soon as possible, and then quickly carry out large-scale production.”

”The instability factors around the Camel area are increasing, and we need to have a rapid response force to deal with various instability factors.”
