Building a Technological Power Starting with the Type 59 missile and Going Astray in Technological Development

Chapter 130 I finally waited for you, but fortunately I didn’t give upChapter 130 I finally waited for you, but fortunately I didn’t give up
When Lin Chenran heard this, he immediately smiled bitterly and shook his head!

Mr. Zhang directly grasped Lin Chenran’s weak spot.

How could Lin Chenran be as busy as Mr. Zhang?

……

After seeing Lin Chenran calm down, Mr. Zhang showed a smile on his face.

He thought to himself, ”You kid, you still want to be lazy? No way!”

Seeing this, Lin Chenran naturally understood what Mr. Zhang was thinking.

”What else needs to be improved for the new guided missile destroyer?”

Mr. Zhang was not going to let go of this free labor easily.

”Ok?”

Lin Chenran hesitated for a moment, then continued, ”Mr. Zhang, you know that I am not an expert in naval ship design, and I only have a superficial understanding of this knowledge. Therefore, I can only talk about my views based on my own understanding, but this is only a theoretical discussion.”

Lin Chenran kept a very low profile.

“It’s okay, everyone can speak freely and put forward their own ideas and suggestions.”

Mr. Zhang encouraged with a smile.

Afterwards, Lin Chenran elaborated on some of his insights and opinions on missile destroyers.

The more Zhang listened, the faster his eyes moved, and a golden light flashed in them.

Sure enough, Lin Chenran was being lazy and said that he didn’t know how to design.

The advice I gave myself was that an old sow should wear condoms - one after another.

If they hadn’t heard their stomachs growling with hunger, the two would have continued their conversation.

……

The next morning, the sun shone on the earth, bringing new hope and vitality to people.

The seminar on the Navy’s new missile destroyer also officially kicked off.

The venue was packed with senior leaders and chief designers from shipbuilding plants across the country who came to attend with great anticipation.

They are gearing up to demonstrate the strength of their own shipyard at this important seminar, and strive to take on the task of designing, developing and manufacturing the new missile destroyer for the Yan Navy.

This is the first warship seminar held by the Yan State military in recent years, which is of great significance.

Previously, the Yan State Navy had limited military expenditure.

It is impossible to add new warships on a large scale.

And now a seminar has finally been held to select an excellent missile destroyer.

As a special guest, Lin Chenran was arranged to be one of the representatives of the Yan State Navy, responsible for reviewing the missile destroyer plans of major domestic shipyards and giving professional evaluations and suggestions.

This task is extremely difficult, and it not only concerns the future development of the Yan State Navy, but also the country’s security and interests.

Originally, Lin Chenran just wanted to be a passer-by, but Mr. Zhang specifically asked him to become the military representative of Yan State.

The design and development project of the missile destroyer adopted a semi-open topic format, giving the shipyard a certain degree of autonomy and room for innovation.

The Yan State Navy has clearly stated that the Tianzhu automatic tracking rocket launcher produced by the 077 Mechanical Arsenal must be installed on board to enhance the fleet’s firepower strike and protection capabilities.

Other aspects, such as power systems, hull size, weapons and equipment, etc., are independently designed and developed by the shipyards based on their own technical advantages and experience, giving full play to the innovative spirit and professional level of each shipyard.

After everyone arrived at the conference room, the seminar officially began.

Mr. Zhang smiled slightly: ”I know that everyone is here for our military’s new missile destroyer order.”

”I’m here to make a promise to everyone. As long as the design and development plan is finalized, our military will order four guided missile destroyers at once.”

”There will be more orders in the future, and I hope everyone can go all out to win this order.”

After Mr. Zhang finished speaking, the shipyard managers in the audience were extremely excited.

They finally received the order from the Yan State military.

Although there are only 4 ships, it is enough for them. This is an order from the military!
Domestic shipyards: I finally waited for you, luckily I didn’t give up!!!

You know, if it weren’t for the development of civilian ships, most of the shipyards in Yan Country would have gone bankrupt.

Because there are no military orders, there is no financial support from the military.

As a result, many shipyards will find it difficult to survive.

Now that the Yan State military has begun to develop its navy, there will be more and more warship design, research and development, and manufacturing in the future.

This is a good beginning!
……

Then Mr. Zhang introduced Lin Chenran to everyone. After all, after yesterday’s discussion, Mr. Zhang knew how powerful the other party was.

In order to force Lin Chenran to work hard, Mr. Zhang has put a lot of effort into it!

”This is Director Lin Chenran of the 077 Mechanical Military Factory, and the design and development team of the Tianzhu automatic tracking rocket launcher.”

Following Mr. Zhang’s introduction, everyone in the conference room immediately showed surprise on their faces.

They have all heard of Lin Chenran’s name to some extent.

A third-line military factory on the verge of bankruptcy was able to come back to life in Lin Chenran’s hands and become a benchmark for Yan Country’s third-line military factories.

I’ve heard that Lin Chenran is very young before, but I didn’t expect him to be that young.

Mr. Zhang took the lead in applauding!
Instantly, the entire conference room burst into thunderous applause.

Lin Chenran stood there with an awkward look on his face, not knowing how to deal with this situation.

Mr. Zhang obviously put him on the fire.

Seeing this, Lin Chenran could only stand up and bow to everyone: ”Thank you for your kindness, Mr. Zhang!”

”As a newcomer, this is my first time to participate in the design of the Navy’s new guided missile destroyer. I hope you can take care of me and bear with me.”

……

Immediately afterwards, each shipyard began to send representatives to introduce the design and development plans of their own new missile destroyers.

Lin Chenran recorded the advantages and disadvantages of the design and development plans of each shipyard.

Lin Chenran sighed secretly.

Almost all of them are the same old guided missile destroyers.

That can’t be blamed on the domestic shipyards.

Mr. Zhang also clearly felt that the missile destroyers produced by a number of shipyards did not meet the needs of the navy.

Especially after listening to Lin Chenran talking to him about warships yesterday, he looked down on the design and development plans of the new missile destroyers of a number of shipyards today.

It would be better to give the design and development plan to the 077 Mechanical Military Factory!

At least in terms of advancement, Lin Chenran’s ideas are far ahead.

The shipyards explained their design and development plans.

Old Zhang frowned.

The new missile destroyers produced by a number of shipyards do not meet the needs of the Yan State military.

Mr. Zhang did not immediately announce that the shipyard’s new missile destroyer design and development plan had been approved by the Yan State military.

”I need to discuss this with others and I will inform you of the results.”

According to the original process, the Yan country military would determine at the seminar which shipyard’s missile destroyer design and development plan would receive the order.

However, Mr. Zhang was obviously not satisfied with the design and development plans of the new missile destroyers proposed by a number of shipyards.

Then we can only postpone this ”decision” for a while.

After everyone left, Zhang Lao slowly asked, ”Lin, what do you think?”
