Harry Potter and the Secret Treasures

But the signs Abraham saw were not limited to this. In the vision he showed to Nicolas Flamel, in addition to the terrifying scenes after the arrival of the ancient god, there was also a scene of a battle, which Nicolas believed was the only chance to stop all this.

There, Hogwarts castle appeared unusually clear, but not as mysterious and strangely beautiful as usual. In the dim and gloomy light, an unusually large orange-red sun was slowly setting, disappearing beneath the horizon.

In front of it, wizards, giants, Centaurs, goblins, and countless magical creatures were engaged in a fierce battle.

Roars and shouts echoed, and the light of magic replaced the sunlight to illuminate the entire sky.

Then, the battle suddenly ceased!

Because of the arrival of the ancient god, everyone stopped.

They gazed in terror at the horrifying creature, no longer caring whom they had once fought for or why they had been fighting.

At this moment, there was only fear in front of Hogwarts Castle.

Countless creatures knelt down, weeping and begging. No one continued to fight. The world was about to be destroyed under their witness. …

But then, in the midst of boundless despair, four huge stone pillars engraved with ancient magic runes soared into the sky.

They shone with orange, green, brown, and blue light. These lights of hope, wielding unimaginably powerful forces, bound the terrifying ancient god. All the beams formed an indestructible cage, just like the magic of “silence”, transcending time and space.

And finally, On the highest tower of the castle, there was a blurry figure of a wizard, who would face the evil god alone.

The two prophecies from the ancient prophet Abraham, along with the information from Rowena Ravenclaw and predictions from Helga Hufflepuff, pieced together a clear picture of the future. The evil god would undoubtedly descend, and after his arrival, a devastating war would break out at Hogwarts.

Then everything would come to an end — either a new beginning or the end of the world.

All the signs and pivotal items ultimately pointed to Evan, indicating that these two events were certain to occur in his era and were closely tied to him.

In fact, Evan knew even more. Not only about the evil god but also about Voldemort’s involvement.

With Voldemort’s return, the war had already begun.

The root of the war lay in Hogwarts, and it would inevitably end in Hogwarts.

But as things had developed to the present, the ultimate enemy was no longer Voldemort, or rather, it was no longer just Voldemort.

Voldemort had colluded with the evil god and even made the evil god’s statue into his own Horcrux.

After the statue of the evil god was turned into a Horcrux, Evan initially thought this would make it harder to destroy. However, he soon realized the opposite: Voldemort’s action had made his Horcrux nearly indestructible, effectively granting him a form of true immortality.

That new Horcrux of Voldemort, that ugly statue of the evil god, was a beacon!

Ravenclaw just said that the evil god beacon was a higher level than the Horcrux.

It was even more evil and more solid. Even the powerful ancient sorcerers could not destroy it and could only seal it.

Now, it was Voldemort’s Horcrux, and without destroying it, there was no way to truly defeat the Dark Lord. …

What was more troublesome was that Voldemort would become stronger and gain power beyond the imagination of the world.

He was trying to use the magic left by his ancestor Salazar Slytherin to transform himself into an evil god, an indestructible evil god.

Besides him, there was a more powerful and troublesome real evil god ready to descend at any time. …

Evan finally figured out everything and the whole story, but he didn’t feel relieved at all.

If this was the final enemy that Evan needed to face, wasn’t it too difficult?!

He was just an ordinary fifteen-year-old wizard, living in an era of low magical sophistication. His favorite pastime was reading books, and his best magic was transforming into a small black cat. How could he possibly stand against such evil and powerful foes?!

Ravenclaw had said he was the only chance, the hope to resolve everything — but wasn’t that far too blind and optimistic?!

Evan quickly conveyed the current situation and all his concerns to Ravenclaw. Her expression remained calm, as if everything was within her expectations. She showed neither worry nor surprise in the face of such overwhelming challenges.

Looking at Ravenclaw’s serene demeanor, Evan finally let out a sigh.

He wasn’t even sure if Ravenclaw understood what he wanted to express, nor was he sure if Ravenclaw’s current reaction was because she was confident and everything was under control, because he just remembered that she had no emotions at all and had abandoned emotions in order to gain absolute wisdom.

Her every reaction wasn’t genuine but guided by pure logic dictating how she should respond. …

This was the bloodline magic of the Ravenclaw family — a cursed yet powerful gift!

Rowena Ravenclaw and Gryffindor had once sought the Titan of Time to rid her of this gift. Evan didn’t know the outcome of that quest. No one had told him whether Ravenclaw had successfully regained her emotions.

From the current situation, it didn’t seem so. This woman, the most intelligent witch in the world, showed no trace of emotion even when hearing about her daughter stealing her Diadem. Instead, she had used the incident to set up a plan — one she had left as a challenge for Evan.

The Diadem was still in her hands, silently testifying to her unparalleled intellect and her coldness.

“I understand your concerns, but even I don’t know what the final outcome will be. The advice I can give you is that before the final timeline is chosen, any speculation is redundant. The only thing you need to do is to work hard to do the things in front of you. The help we leave for you is in the treasure deep under the castle,” said Ravenclaw softly, picking up the Diadem from the table. “I noticed you have already passed Godric’s test and found the key he left behind?”

“Because the test left by Professor Gryffindor was the easiest,” said Evan.

“It wasn’t actually as easy as you think,” Ravenclaw replied. “Only a wizard who meets all of his criteria can pass his trial. The reason it felt easy to you is that your performance earned Godric’s approval.”

“Approval?!”

“Yes, the main purpose of leaving these trials is to test whether the wizards of later generations have inherited the qualities that each of us values. Your courage earned Godric’s recognition, so you have passed his test,” Ravenclaw replied with a smile. “Now that you have returned here with my Diadem, it means your actions have earned my approval as well. By passing the trial I left behind, you’ve proven yourself, and I will now give you the key to my portion of the treasure. …”
