Harry Potter and the Secret Treasures

It seemed like something was trying to break free from the Diadem.

It could be clearly seen that this was a dark blue soul-like thing that was being peeled off from the Diadem.

In the midst of the deep blue, Evan caught a glimpse of a strange red flash.

The next second, there was a crisp sound from the Diadem and it fell back into his hand. The raven that had once guided Evan flew out of the Diadem.

He had no entity, mainly composed of dark blue light mist, but his eyes were like two burning flames.

With the raven at the center, red and blue light spread out in all directions, coloring the white light composed of the Cardinal’s magic power.

Cold and hot, Evan felt two different auras coming towards him.

They clashed and intertwined, merging in a perfectly balanced ratio, together eroding the surrounding white light.

The raven stared at Evan with his blood-red eyes, sizing him up for a moment, then turned his head to look outside, quickly spread his wings and flew high into the sky. He wanted to leave the white beam of light that enveloped Evan and fly towards Ravenclaw in the center of the Great Hall. Yet, as if striking an invisible glass wall, he collided with the edge of the light column surrounding Evan and was bounced back.

The raven shook his head and bumped into it again.

After being bounced back once again, he landed on Evan’s head and pecked him twice, as if asking what was going on.

Evan had no way to answer him, but he noticed that part of the space around him was now bathed in a mix of blue and red light. The two colors intertwined and blended together, constantly eroding the white light around them. Judging from the colors alone, it was like a pleasing cocktail, like a dream.

The power of this raven was increasing rapidly, and Evan could feel that the strange aura was growing stronger.

If given enough time, he should be able to break Cardinal Braxius’s Grand Prophecy Spell.

As this thought just arose in Evan’s mind, another beam of white light fell on him from above the Great Hall.

He felt a greater pressure than he had ever felt before, as if he were being stuffed into a very thin rubber tube when he Apparated.

White light without any physical shape pressed towards him from all directions.

The strange blue and red light emitted by the raven was quickly suppressed back into his body.

These alone were not enough to counter Cardinal Braxius’s magic.

In fact, what Evan didn’t know was that Braxius was also extremely shocked.

He looked in disbelief at Evan, the raven, and the changes that were taking place.

“This is…Ravenclaw’s Diadem!”

At this time, the sceptre in Braxius’s hand was fully aimed at Evan, focusing the brunt of his magical suppression on him.

He had no choice. Although the pressure from Evan was not as strong as that from the three Founders, the sudden changes made him feel much more stressed.

He was not prepared at all and did not expect that Evan would have a legendary magic item on him.

Moreover, it turned out to be Ravenclaw’s Diadem!!!

Wasn’t this thing stolen?! Even if it was still there, it should be in the hands of Rowena Ravenclaw.

Braxius was utterly dumbfounded. How could the Diadem possibly be in Evan’s hands? What was going on here? Wasn’t this girl supposed to be a Slytherin?!

Then why did she have the legendary magic item of the Peverell family and Ravenclaw’s Diadem?!

And what about that strange spinning disk that had appeared at the beginning? Braxius couldn’t even identify what that was. …

If it could manifest under his magic, that thing must be a legendary magic item.

But that spinning disk did not consume any of his magic — Braxius could clearly sense that.

Looking at it with his eyes, it was floating above Evan, but in his perception, this thing really did not exist.

Just like that imperceptible disk, the girl herself was shrouded in mystery. Braxius began to suspect a major flaw in the Holy See’s intelligence network regarding the Wizarding World. …

Returning to the present, the enigmatic blue disk’s nature could be set aside for now — after all, it didn’t exert any pressure on him. However, the pressure brought by the appearance of the Resurrection Stone and Ravenclaw’s Diadem was real, and Braxius had to take the matter seriously.

He increased his magic output, and the expression on his face became more solemn.

The Diadem, especially, along with that strange raven, set Braxius on edge. In that brief moment earlier, he had clearly felt that the Diadem was unlike other legendary magic items. The bizarre raven wasn’t just consuming his magic — he was absorbing it.

Even with the aid of the staff and control over an unimaginably vast amount of magic, the appearance of Ravenclaw’s Diadem made him keenly feel his power rapidly depleting, forcing him to treat the situation with utmost seriousness.

In fact, Braxius, who’d been able to read the countless secret books collected by the Holy See, knew much more than most wizards. Among all the legendary magic items handed down from the previous era, only a few were the most legendary.

Ravenclaw’s Diadem was one of them. It had another name in the Church and was The Symbol of Eternal Truth.

The outside world had many rumors about the Diadem, but Braxius knew the reality was far more extraordinary than any of those tales.

If it were only the Diadem, Braxius thought he could still hold on and potentially secure victory.

In the name of God, he would succeed.

He had made full preparations to come to Hogwarts today. According to his plan, Salazar Slytherin was supposed to be here as well.

Therefore, he borrowed the scepter from the Pope. Even now, the situation hadn’t reached its worst point. Even if he ultimately failed, today’s gains would still satisfy Braxius. The next step was to investigate the girl’s identity. Perhaps it would lead to some astonishing revelations.

Braxius silently pondered the connections between Evan and the Ravenclaw, Slytherin, and Peverell families, weaving together a series of potential hidden histories and secrets.

After all, people’s private lives in this era were so chaotic, there was nothing to be surprised about!

Braxius was thinking about how to leverage Evan’s identity in a way that would strengthen the Church’s control over the Wizarding World.

If he could control Evan today, it might be an unexpected bargaining chip.

However, these notions were destined to remain in Braxius’s imagination.

As he increased the magical pressure on Evan, another legendary magic item began to manifest around Evan. …

“What? There’s more?!” Braxius widened his eyes, staring at Evan and the green apparition forming in front of him. “How is this possible? Is this girl some kind of walking treasure trove?!”

Much like what had happened within Helga Hufflepuff’s light pillar, one green magical inscription after another appeared in front of Evan.

This was the Emerald Tablet, which Evan had seen in its entirety in the treasure vault of the goblin Zoser.

At that time, all the inscriptions on it had unraveled before his eyes, then surged into his body.

Evan had assumed this was merely a method of knowledge transfer. He had chosen not to take the Emerald Tablet itself, never imagining that its inscriptions would later manifest in such a manner. Could this mean he had unknowingly acquired part of the Emerald Tablet?!

The inscriptions appearing now were far fewer than those in Hufflepuff’s pillar, and they seemed unstable, as though they might vanish at any moment.

Braxius, who had been closely observing Evan’s condition with intense focus, let out a silent breath of relief. If it was just this. …
