Harry Potter and the Secret Treasures

“I don’t understand!”

Evan was a bit puzzled and didn’t grasp Ravenclaw’s explanation.

“What do you mean by something that now belongs to you and in the future belongs to me?”

He touched his pocket and found the Time-Turner safely inside.

That was to say, there were two Time-Turners in this room, and they were actually the same thing, but they had not merged.

This was really incredible. After all, this Time-Turner had previously fused all homogeneous and homologous sources of power.

“Don’t you understand? You don’t seem to have a very deep understanding of time magic. It will take a long time to fully explain the principles. It involves a lot of advanced time magic theories. Since we don’t have much time left, it’s best not to study this academic issue,” Ravenclaw smiled and put the Time-Turner in her hand back on the table. “Of course, we can use some simple concepts to understand this. This Time-Turner that belongs to me and the one on you are actually the same thing. They are both part of the original power of the Time Titan and can help us traverse timelines. Although they come from different timelines, they can still influence each other. I used mine to affect the Time-Turner that brought you here, allowing you to stay in this timeline longer.”

“Hmm!” Evan nodded, half-understanding.

This question could wait. He hadn’t come back to discuss time magic with Ravenclaw.

He had a lot of questions to ask, but looking at Lady Ravenclaw’s smiling face, he suddenly didn’t know where to start.

Evan thought for a moment and decided to start with the most important topic.

“Professor, you mentioned earlier that The Book of Abraham is with Professor Hufflepuff?”

“Oh, yes, the Hufflepuff family has the blood of the ancient Seers, and Helga inherited this talent. That book, left behind by an ancient Seer, is very famous. You may have discovered that it contains some very interesting content. It helps Helga a lot. We have been looking for a copy for a long time but couldn’t find it. Now that she has encountered it, she naturally wants to study it carefully,” said Ravenclaw. “Of course, the book is also very important to you. She will return it in a while.”

“Professor Hufflepuff is a Seer?”

“She’s the greatest Seer I’ve ever met!” Ravenclaw replied. “However, she wouldn’t claim to be stronger than those renowned ancient Seers. Abraham was one of them. His greatness lies not in foreseeing the future but in his presumed status as the first traveler to return successfully from that world.”

“What world are you referring to?” Evan grew more confused. He had too little information to grasp the conversation fully.

Although the conversation had just begun, many concepts Ravenclaw introduced were beyond his comprehension.

“That world!” said Ravenclaw, dragging out her voice. “This concept is also not easy to explain, but it is still very important. If you want to understand the whole story, you must know what that world is. Well, you should know how the spellcasters of the last era, the so-called ancient warlocks, perished, right? They used magic recklessly and eventually attracted the attention of creatures parasitic in that world, those terrible creatures that only existed in the void…”

“You mean the evil gods?!”

“Yes, exactly — those beings you call the evil gods. The world where their true forms reside is that world,” said Ravenclaw. “It exists in the endless void, on the shadowy side of this planet. It is much larger and more complex than our world. In fact, it may not even be a single unified space but rather a conglomeration of countless fragmented dimensions.”

Evan felt that his knowledge and understanding skills were beginning to be insufficient again. Ever since the Titan of Time had explained the so-called Ancient War and the Final War to him, he hadn’t heard of anything as outlandish as this. Yet the most absurd part was that these seemingly fantastical notions were the very essence of this world.

“If you’ve met the Titan, you should have learned these things from him. Of course, you obviously have met him, otherwise you wouldn’t have come back here again,” said Ravenclaw, as if she knew what Evan was thinking. “In that case, I guess you should also know the intentions of the creatures living in that world?”

“You mean they have always wanted to come to our world and destroy it?” Evan asked back.

“That’s about it. You know a lot more than I expected,” said Ravenclaw, smiling again.

“I still don’t quite understand. What does this have to do with us? Are we supposed to stop those creatures?!”

“Well, it’s not exactly related,” Ravenclaw replied. “We’re not Titans. It’s not our responsibility to uphold this world’s rules and ensure everything runs smoothly according to established order. Similarly, neither you nor I are Saviors tasked with a mission to save the world. We don’t have to do that. However, you must understand that the creatures from the shadows of the void have an endless desire to destroy our world. Danger constantly looms over us, and if they succeed, the consequences will be catastrophic. We would all be annihilated, just like the ancient sorcerers of the previous era. They were so powerful, yet in the end, they all became history…”

“Yes, I understand!” said Evan weakly. So many troublesome things always seemed to find their way to him.

He was not a Titan, he was not a Savior; but in the end, Evan had to deal with a certain evil god.

That had to be it. After Ravenclaw gave him some key information, he felt that he was about to sort out everything!

“From the current situation, those creatures cannot come directly to our world. The magic rules left by the Titans have restricted them. But they can project a part of their original power into our world in some way. There are many ways to project it. For example, the cat that has been circling around you. I don’t know where you met him, but he is obviously one of those terrible creatures.”

“You mean that cat?”

“Yes, I don’t know what that cat is specifically, but he is obviously one of those terrible void creatures. That’s why he was sealed by the book. In that book is a space created by the ancient Seer Abraham. As long as it wields enough power, it can seal all the projections of those creatures it encounters,” Ravenclaw continued, not leaving Evan much time to think and ask questions. “In fact, these shadow projections aren’t something you need to worry about. As you’ve seen, they are quite weak in this form and incapable of much. Depending on the creature’s original abilities, the projections may have different traits and powers, but they aren’t decisive forces. Ultimately, their goal is to bring their true forms into this world…”
