Reborn As Super Heiress

Chapter 381: Chapter 377 Give me three days

”Do you really want this sister to treat your illness? What if she doesn’t cure you?”

Song Chunxue merely mentioned the possibility of not curing, not daring to suggest that the condition might worsen, but in her heart, she still felt that Huo Sining’s whole Qigong Massage thing was just a bluff, of no real use.

Lu Ruiqi looked at Song Chunxue seriously and said, ”If she can’t cure me, I’ll agree to your request to go abroad for treatment, and I’ll definitely cooperate with your exams!”

Upon hearing this, Song Chunxue felt surprised. Her son was stubborn, taking after his grandfather’s temperament, and was quite the angry youth. He had always been extremely averse to the idea of going abroad for treatment.

Now that Lu Ruiqi had even said he was willing to go abroad for treatment, Song Chunxue’s eyes widened in astonishment. She subconsciously looked at Huo Sining, not understanding what kind of magic Huo Sining had worked on her son in just this brief moment to make him so obedient and so firmly supportive of Huo Sining!

Huo Sining mischievously winked at Lu Ruiqi and then stealthily gave him a thumbs-up before looking at Song Chunxue with a smile:

”Madame Lu, if you’re still worried, how about this? Give me three days. During these three days, I’ll take full responsibility for your son’s treatment.”

”If there’s no noticeable improvement after three days, whether you follow Doctor Nie and the experts’ advice or go abroad for treatment, I won’t interfere again. What do you think?”

”I think Lu Ruiqi has been ill for so many years, three more days surely wouldn’t matter, right?”

Song Chunxue and Lu Ruiqi exchanged glances, both somewhat unsettled.

Chief Lu, however, heard the implication in Huo Sining’s words. The girl spoke so confidently about giving her three days—could it mean that in three days she could bring about a huge change in Rui Qi’s condition?

With this thought, Chief Lu’s slightly cloudy eyes instantly became razor-sharp. He stared intently at Huo Sining, ”Three days, are you sure?”

”Sure!”

Huo Sining could feel that Chief Lu’s piercing gaze seemed to see right through her thoughts, but she wasn’t uneasy.

Because she was very clear that just now, as she had probed Lu Ruiqi’s body with Spiritual Energy, she had confirmed that Spiritual Energy was indeed very helpful for Lu Ruiqi’s condition, which is why she responded so confidently, her facial expression unchanging, yet her eyes brimming with determination and confidence.

Chief Lu took a deep breath. He was always accurate at reading people. The steadfastness in Huo Sining’s eyes, without a hint of wavering, proved she must be quite certain.

”Good, I trust you! The child is in your hands for three days. I hope you can give us a satisfactory answer!” Chief Lu nodded in agreement.

Song Chunxue had a change of heart as well. Lu Ruiqi’s condition had already severely worsened, and that group of incompetent doctors kept talking about discussing treatment plans, but in reality, they had no solutions. Now that her son was willing to seek treatment, it might be worth giving Huo Sining three days to try.

With this thought, Song Chunxue cast aside her last bit of hesitation. After all, using a dead horse as a living horse doctor was better than just waiting to die.

”Chief, you’re asking me to make a mistake. Treating an illness shouldn’t be taken so lightly. We need to be responsible for young master Lu’s safety and health. Even if I agreed, the expert panel wouldn’t...”

Seeing that Chief Lu’s family was actually agreeing to let a clueless young girl treat Lu Ruiqi, Doctor Nie felt it was absurd and hurriedly spoke up to persuade them.

Chief Lu’s face instantly darkened, and he turned back to give Doctor Nie a cold glance:

”Shut your mouth! What expert group? Nothing but a bunch of incompetents. You’ve had so much time, yet show me some sort of proposal! Other than spouting nonsense and infighting, what else can you do?! Huh?”

Upon hearing Chief Lu’s words, Doctor Nie’s facial expression immediately froze. He really wanted to explain that Polio is a complicated and difficult disease to treat, and even abroad there isn’t any good treatment, let alone in our country.

But could he say that? He dared not, as he was certain to be scolded even more mercilessly. He might even anger the old chief, who could then simply tell him to pack up and leave.

So, Doctor Nie shrank back, his face looking rather unpleasant, as his gaze swept across Huo Sining’s calm and composed face, he spitefully said:

”If you’re letting this young girl treat him, fine, but let’s get one thing straight beforehand: Any mistakes that occur during the treatment, we at Yulong Mountain will not take any responsibility!”

Huo Sining, upon hearing this, smiled and nodded: ”Rest assured, Doctor Nie. I’ll take full responsibility for any incidents.”

Doctor Nie sneered and scoffed: ”Easy for you to say. You take responsibility, but can you handle it?”

”Why can’t I?”

Huo Sining smiled and retorted, then arrogantly made a comment that left Doctor Nie even more infuriated:

”After all, unlike your expert group doctor Nie, when treating a patient, I don’t need to look before and after, considering so many concerns! Because, my treatment is physical therapy, and there will be no accidents whatsoever!”

Doctor Nie was left speechless, standing there with his face reddened and neck thickened. He wanted to hit back, but he simply couldn’t find the words to retort against Huo Sining.

Because by this time, he had realized that he still didn’t know what method Huo Sining would use to treat Lu Ruiqi. He had never heard of Qigong Massage, nor did he understand the principles behind Huo Sining’s massage technique.

As for any sort of professional qualification, that was even less of a concern. This girl wasn’t even a doctor, just with an attitude of ’take it or leave it,’ seemingly unconcerned whether or not the patient wanted to be treated.

What frustrated him was that Chief Lu’s family appeared to be quite taken with her approach. They wouldn’t believe the words of real medical experts, yet they eagerly followed the words of an amateur putting on airs.

Doctor Nie wanted to copy her, but he was a well-respected traditional doctor and couldn’t afford to be so carefree. He had to consider the reputation of himself and the expert group, and he cherished the reputation he had worked so hard to maintain over the years.

In the end, with a disheveled and downcast expression, Doctor Nie watched as Huo Sining left triumphantly.

For the three days of treatment, Huo Sining’s requirements for the Lu Family were simple: she needed absolute isolation during the treatment, without any disturbances, and she did not want anyone to see her methods.

In the past, when Huo Sining treated Huang Chengyi for his leg problems, she did not know that the Spiritual Energy emanating from her hands was invisible to others. To prevent Azure Pearl’s secrets from being discovered, she claimed her Qigong Massage Technique was a unique secret not to be disclosed.

However, it wasn’t until she met Su Lan that she realized ordinary people couldn’t see the Spiritual Energy of Azure Pearl; only someone possessing another Spiritual Pearl could sense it.
