Reborn As Super Heiress

Chapter 379: Chapter 375: Do You Have a Professional Qualification Certificate?

Huo Sining was not the petty type, nor was she the one to take such small matters to heart.

Moreover, she understood Song Chunxue’s state of mind very well. Any person facing their child’s paralysis on the bed for over a decade would be tormented to the brink of collapse. It was completely normal for her subconscious to want to protect her son.

With this thought, Huo Sining glanced at Song Chunxue and thought to herself, let it be, since she had already come, she might as well go in and see. If she could really cure him, not only could she bring new hope to a child, but she could also save a family in anguish.

Huo Sining walked in calmly. Seeing that Huo Sining wanted to look at the leg, Song Chunxue quickly lifted the quilt and bent over to roll up her son’s empty trouser leg.

Just as Huo Sining was about to begin, she did not expect that at this moment, a female specialist nurse walked in. When she saw the two women rolling up Lu Ruiqi’s trouser leg, she became anxious at once, ”Madam Lu, what are you doing!?”

The specialist nurse had noticed Chief Lu bringing people over earlier, but hadn’t paid much attention at first. It was only after hearing Song Chunxue’s agitated arguing that she decided to come over and check. She hadn’t expected to see such a scene.

”This young lady is a doctor I found. I want her to look at my grandson’s leg! Your hospital’s medical skills are not good enough. Is it prohibited for me to find someone for treatment?”

Chief Lu knew the temperaments of these specialist nurses and doctors. Seeing the specialist nurse glaring with dissatisfaction, he couldn’t help but ask.

”Sir, this is unacceptable. The patient’s health is under the care of a specialist team, and what you’re doing is against the rules. Moreover, the child’s spinal poliomyelitis is already severe. If he catches a cold or a viral infection, his condition could worsen...”

The specialist nurse, with her extensive experience, felt extremely troubled when she heard Chief Lu suggesting something so against the rules.

The hospital had its regulations, and all those who came to Yulong Mountain for treatment were important figures. If an error occurred because of her, causing an incident that led to blame, losing her job would be a minor issue, but offending big figures would be a serious one. She simply couldn’t bear such responsibility and consequences.

The nurse then stepped forward and straightened Lu Ruiqi’s trouser leg again, covered him with the quilt, and immediately pressed the call button next to the bed.

Soon after, Doctor Nie, the head of the specialist team responsible for Lu Ruiqi’s medical treatment, rushed over upon hearing the news. When he heard that Chief Lu’s family had found their own doctor to treat the patient, he immediately rejected Chief Lu’s idea.

”No, absolutely not, Chief. Right now, the treatment is at a stable phase, and we are looking for solutions. You absolutely cannot bring someone in randomly, not only disturbing our treatment process for Rui Qi, but potentially also accelerating the deterioration of the child’s condition. We need to be responsible for your child’s health. Seeking rushed treatment in desperation is certainly not the right course of action...”

Although Lu Ruiqi wasn’t a national leader, he was Chief Lu’s grandson and was extremely precious to him, not tolerating the slightest mishap.

They had only just managed to stabilize the child’s condition, so if some unknown doctor came to fiddle around and worsened the situation, their jobs would likely be over.

Doctor Nie was firmly against it. His gaze swept the room, lingering on Huo Sining with suspicion for a few moments before he turned away to look at Chief Lu:

”Chief, I’m not sure who your colleague is, whether he has mentioned how he plans to treat the condition, but perhaps we could discuss it together. If our discussion team deems it feasible, then proceeding with treatment would not be too late.”

From the looks of it, Doctor Nie clearly didn’t even consider that Huo Sining was the doctor Chief Lu had brought over.

When Song Chunxue heard Doctor Nie’s words, her previously wavering heart firmed up once more, feeling that she really shouldn’t be careless with her son’s illness.

Huo Sining simply smiled calmly, ”Doctor Nie, there’s no need to look further. The person Chief Lu is looking for is me, and as for the discussion you mentioned, I don’t think it’s necessary.”

Doctor Nie turned his head back in astonishment and stared at Huo Sining, his eyes widened somewhat incredulously: ”Young lady, this joke isn’t funny at all!”

Doctor Nie felt that Huo Sining was deliberately making fun of him. Given the Lu Family’s high regard for this child, they certainly wouldn’t act so irresponsibly as to randomly pick someone to treat the child. Huo Sining didn’t look like a doctor at all, she rather appeared to be a relative of the Lu Family.

Though he had never met her before, Doctor Nie was convinced in his heart that Huo Sining must be some relative of the Lu Family.

But the next moment, his speculation was denied by Chief Lu who replied with a serious face:

”She’s not joking. Indeed, this young lady is the doctor I have found to treat Rui Qi.”

Finally, Doctor Nie could no longer maintain his composure and looked at Chief Lu and his family as if they were aliens.

He was certain this family had gone mad; otherwise, how could they have made such an unreliable decision?

Just a moment ago, while no one in the room was paying attention, Huo Sining slipped her hand under the blanket and touched Lu Ruiqi’s leg.

Holding Lu Ruiqi’s leg and transferring Spiritual Energy to it, she found his condition to be almost the same as Huang Chengyi’s.

The neurons below the lumbar disc had suffered damage, there were blockages in the blood vessels, the blood was extremely thick, the excess was congested and not clearing, and among the blood, there was also a type of impurity coagulating within, attempting to destroy the blood and muscle tissues.

Huo Sining used Spiritual Energy for targeted treatment of those impurities and found that wherever the Spiritual Energy went, the impurities were basically cleaned up, proving that she was fully capable of curing this disease.

Now Huo Sining felt confident. She slowly withdrew her hand from under the blanket and looked at Doctor Nie with a serene expression, stating with certainty, ”This disease, I can cure.”

Doctor Nie’s expression changed drastically, his gaze towards Huo Sining carried contempt and anger:

”Which school’s student are you, young lady? You haven’t graduated yet, have you? Do you have a medical license? The patient is still sleeping, you haven’t even thoroughly examined his condition, and yet you boldly claim you can cure him—do you call this a responsible attitude toward a patient?”

Huo Sining replied, ”I’m from S University, and I don’t have a medical license.”

”From Medical University? Who is your teacher? I really must ask them, and see exactly how they educate their students. A physician must first adhere to medical ethics, not make wild claims without any basis!”

Hearing Huo Sining say she was from S University, Doctor Nie assumed she meant Medical University and immediately became agitated, as if eager to call her teacher and give them a tongue-lashing.

Huo Sining, upon hearing this, shrugged and said, ”Doctor Nie, I’m from SH University, not SH Medical University. My major is in biotechnical engineering, not clinical medicine nor traditional Chinese medicine.”
