Urban Martial Saint

”Da Hei!” At that moment, Ye Qing also walked over, called out, and Da Hei immediately loosened his grip, but the man’s wrist was already drenched in blood.

Ye Qing walked over, kicked the man in the chest, and he immediately broke a few ribs, unable to get up again.

After downing these four people, Ye Qing did not dare to be careless, carefully checked the surroundings, and, sure that there were no others, he hastily walked over to help Lin Yashi up.

Seeing Lin Yashi’s face covered in blood, Ye Qing’s expression changed, he reached out and checked her pulse, which was very weak. But since she did not have any internal injuries, how could she be so badly hurt?

Ye Qing furrowed his brows, suddenly reached out, and pried open Lin Yashi’s mouth. Upon seeing inside, Ye Qing’s expression instantly changed; he finally realized why Lin Yashi was so severely injured—her tongue had been cut off partway.

Ye Qing took out a flashlight, searched around on the ground, and finally found a plastic bag with the severed tongue in a corner. It also contained ice cubes, which were keeping the severed tongue chilled, but who knew if it could still be reattached?

Holding the bag of ice, Ye Qing carried Lin Yashi on his back, phoned Zhao Chengshuang, and told him to immediately send an ambulance, while he hastily ran out of Stone Mountain. If Lin Yashi hadn’t been so severely injured, he would have stayed to search for He Ziqiang. However, Lin Yashi was too badly hurt; he really couldn’t delay.

Zhao Chengshuang was leading people in searching those areas when he suddenly learned that Ye Qing had found Lin Yashi, so excited he almost screamed. However, hearing that Lin Yashi was badly injured, he became extremely anxious. While calling for an ambulance, he also phoned the Lin family to inform them of the news.

No sooner had Ye Qing taken Lin Yashi out of Shicun than several police cars roared in and surrounded him. A dozen police officers rushed out, stopped Ye Qing’s motorbike, and shouted, ”Stop, don’t move!”

”This is Lin Yashi, who was kidnapped today; she has been seriously hurt and must be rushed to the hospital immediately!” Ye Qing shouted loudly.

”Lin Yashi? How could that be?”

”Isn’t this person Ye Qing?”

”Right, Director Zhou had issued a warrant for his arrest.”

The police officers were discussing heatedly; they had been ordered by Zhou Jianbin to chase a motorbike but hadn’t expected to encounter such a situation here.

”Now is not the time for nonsense, Lin Yashi is seriously hurt, and we must send her back immediately,” Ye Qing said, getting somewhat annoyed. ”If anything happens to her, who among you can take responsibility?”

Lin Yashi was a member of the Lin family; if anything happened to her, truly no one could take responsibility.

A police officer who appeared to be in charge carefully looked at Lin Yashi, who was behind Ye Qing, and said, ”Is she... really Lin Yashi?”

”Whether she is or not, we’ll know once we take her back!” Ye Qing said angrily, incredulous that these people were still so slow to react at this moment.

The police officers looked at each other, and the leader said in a grave voice, ”Of course we can send her back, but you must not resist, and you must also come with us for questioning!”

”Fine!” Ye Qing set Lin Yashi on the ground; now that he had rescued her, he felt somewhat relieved.

The police officers hurriedly helped Lin Yashi into a car. Meanwhile, another person came over to handcuff Ye Qing and took him to the car as well.

”Wait, my motorbike.” Ye Qing pointed to the motorbike behind him and said, ”I rented it from someone else; it needs to be returned.”

The police officers looked at each other, and finally, one of them said helplessly, ”I’ll ride it.”

Thus, Ye Qing and Da Hei got into the police car, while the police officer silently followed behind on the motorbike.

Midway, Zhou Jianbin had already rushed over with a large team. Upon hearing that Lin Yashi had been rescued, he immediately came. Seeing Lin Yashi’s injured condition, Zhou Jianbin furiously stormed at Ye Qing, roaring, ”How could this be? How could she be hurt like this? Tell me!”

”I don’t know…” Ye Qing hesitated, then said solemnly, ”She might have bitten it off herself!”

”Bullshit, why would Yashi bite off her own tongue for no reason!” Zhou Jianbin said as he raised his hand to slap Ye Qing.

”Woof, woof, woof!” Da Hei immediately sprang up next to them, baring his teeth and glaring at Zhou Jianbin.

Zhou Jianbin jumped back in surprise, hurriedly retreated a few steps, and urgently said, ”Whose dog is this? Whose dog? Keep your dog in check!”

”Da Hei!” Ye Qing called out, and Da Hei obediently returned to stand behind him.

”Is this your dog?” Zhou Jianbin growled even angrier, shouting, ”Do you have a dog license? Has this dog been vaccinated against rabies? If not, take this dog away to be dealt with!”

Several police officers approached, and Ye Qing finally couldn’t hold back, angrily said, ”Zhou Jianbin, Miss Lin is severely injured and needs to be rushed to the hospital for treatment. Do you still have time to pick on me at this moment? I’m handcuffed here, I can’t run anywhere; can’t you go back and ask these foolish questions there?”

”You…” Zhou Jianbin furiously pointed at Ye Qing and yelled, ”Who are you to tell me how to do my job?”

Ye Qing said sternly, ”If anything happens to Miss Lin, Zhou Jianbin, you will definitely be held responsible!”

Zhou Jianbin indeed didn’t dare say anything else, and immediately waved his hand, saying, ”First, send Yashi to the hospital, rush her there, understand?”

Two police cars roared off. Zhou Jianbin gave Ye Qing a fierce glare and said in a deep voice, ”Ye, this isn’t over between us!”

”Suit yourself,” Ye Qing replied coldly. ”There are still four kidnappers in a clearing on Stone Mountain. If you send someone now, you can still catch them!”

”Really?” Zhou Jianbin immediately called several police officers over and ordered them to capture these four men as quickly as possible. If these people were apprehended on his watch, the credit would be his, a significant feather in his cap.

These four had been injured by Ye Qing and had no strength to run away. The police officers returned in less than twenty minutes with them in custody.

Seeing these four, Zhou Jianbin was in high spirits. With these four in his hands, he now had the capital to make a merit.

”Alright, fall in!” Zhou Jianbin waved his hand and said, ”Bring Ye back too, don’t let him escape!”

A convoy of police cars grandly returned to the station, Lin Yashi had already been taken to the hospital. Informed of the news, Lin family members also hurried to the hospital, making the police station much quieter.

”Lock these four up, start interrogating them immediately!” Zhou Jianbin gestured triumphantly as if he had personally solved the case.

”Lock him up too. I want to interrogate him myself!” Zhou Jianbin turned around, glared at Ye Qing through gritted teeth, and said in a deep voice, ”And take his dog for humane destruction. Big breeds like that aren’t allowed in the city!”

”You dare!” Ye Qing suddenly stood up. Attacking him was one thing, but laying a finger on Black Bear was quite another.

”Why wouldn’t I dare?” Zhou Jianbin smirked and said, ”Ye, you can barely take care of yourself, let alone a dog. I’m telling you, you better figure out how to clean up your own mess first.”

Saying this, Zhou Jianbin waved his hand and said, ”Take the dog away!”

”Who dares touch it!” Ye Qing stood with Black Bear behind him, glaring fiercely at everyone, ”I’ll definitely kill him!”

About a dozen police officers exchanged glances. Honestly, since Ye Qing had caused a major disturbance at the North City Sub-bureau, his reputation had soared. The Deputy Director of the North City Sub-bureau was fired because of Ye Qing and was now locked up in prison, facing at least fifteen years. Moreover, several other police officers had been injured by Ye Qing, yet he was untouched.

Who would dare anger Ye Qing at this time?

”What are you staring at? We are police, defenders against evil; who can he kill?” Zhou Jianbin, furious, said, ”Get him!”

Still, no one dared move. One police officer turned his head and said awkwardly, ”Director Zhou, it’s just a dog. Why bother? How about... we wait until after Ye Qing’s interrogation to deal with it?”

Zhou Jianbin felt his face burn with humiliation and angrily said, ”What are you afraid of? I’m telling you, if anything happens, I’ve got your back!”

The group of police hesitated for a moment; finally, a subordinate of Zhou Jianbin stepped forward and said, ”Such big breeds should indeed be dealt with!”

Ye Qing stepped forward, blocking him, and said in a deep voice, ”I said, don’t touch it!”

”What do you think this is? This is a police station. Does what you say matter?” the police officer said, pulling out his gun and aiming it at Ye Qing’s head, shouting, ”Try jumping around again, see if I don’t blow your brain out!”

Zhou Jianbin nodded in satisfaction. Encouraged by Zhou Jianbin’s attitude, the officer became even more arrogant, knocking on Ye Qing’s head with the butt of his gun and said, ”Jump around, why aren’t you jumping around now? You think you’re so tough? You...”

Before he could finish his sentence, a massive hand suddenly grabbed him by the neck and lifted him off the ground. Another large hand snatched the gun from his hand and smashed it heavily on his head with the butt.

Just one hit, and the man’s head immediately cracked open, blood spurting out.

It was only then that the police realized a tower of a man, swathed in bandages, had appeared in the station. Despite his bandages, the imposing figure was enough to instill fear. Lifting a man weighing about one hundred fifty pounds with one hand—what terrifying strength!

The man was Black Bear. Holding the neck of the policeman, he said, ”You dare mess with my captain? I’ll kill you!”

As he spoke, Black Bear directly aimed the gun at the policeman.

”Stop!” Ye Qing urgently shouted, causing Black Bear to hold off and turn to look at him, saying, ”Captain, are you alright?”

”I’m fine, put the gun down!” Ye Qing said sternly.

Black Bear obediently threw down the gun and also threw the policeman to the ground.

The officer collapsed on the ground like a dead fish, almost unconscious from the intense pain in his head, only managing to emit bursts of pitiful screams.

This incident happened so suddenly that it took Zhou Jianbin a while to recover before he furiously glared at Black Bear and roared, ”You dare assault a police officer!”

”Why wouldn’t I?” Black Bear turned and shouted back, ”If you dare hurt my captain, I’ll flatten your entire police station!”
