Urban Martial Saint

Ye Qing shook the stool leg in his hand and glanced at the three men, asking, ”Who wants to go first?”

All three men’s faces changed, none of them daring to speak; they had no idea what Ye Qing was up to. But it was clear—it was definitely going to be nothing good!

”No one stepping forward? Then I’ll make the choice myself!” Ye Qing casually pointed at one of them and said, ”You, start.”

”Wh... what are you going to do?” The man trembled, panic-stricken, as he struggled to move backwards: ”I... I won’t go...”

Ye Qing grabbed his leg and pulled him over, lifting the other stool leg in his hand and aiming it at his mouth.

”What are you going to do? What are you going to do? Help!” The man screamed desperately, fighting with all his might, but to no avail.

”I want you to taste the feeling that girl had when she was dying!” While Ye Qing spoke, he suddenly jabbed the stool leg down strongly.

The man’s mouth was open, and now the stool leg plunged straight into it. Ye Qing used a lot of force, stuffing the stool leg down his throat, causing intense pain that made the man’s body shake, his limbs flailing wildly as his hands struggled to reach up and pull out the stool leg.

Ye Qing broke both his arms and then tossed him aside, saying coldly, ”How does it feel? Comfortable? Now you know what that little girl felt like, don’t you?”

This man’s eyes rolled back as he choked on the stool leg, struggling on the ground for a while before he finally stopped breathing.

The other two men standing by were stunned, while Ye Qing, with a calm expression, picked up another chair leg from the ground and asked, ”Whose turn is it now?”

The two looked at each other and screamed in unison, turning around and crawling frantically for the exit.

But how could they escape from Ye Qing’s grasp? Ye Qing went and dragged the two men back.

One of them bellowed, ”Ye, you’ll surely go to Hell after you die!”

Ye Qing sneered, ”So what? I never thought about going to Heaven anyway.”

”You just wait, even if I turn into a ghost, I won’t let you go!”

Ye Qing looked at him and said, ”If you turn into a ghost, make sure to come find me, because I’d love to kill you one more time. The mistakes you’ve made cannot be atoned for even with a hundred deaths!”

As he spoke, Ye Qing did the same to the other two men, sending them to Hell as well.

Brother Jiu watched from the side, trembling all over, oblivious to the fact that he had soiled himself. The cruelty of Ye Qing’s methods was truly nightmarish. Truth be told, having seen what Ye Qing was capable of, he wouldn’t dare even think of doing anything bad in this lifetime!

He was genuinely scared!

”Don’t be afraid, I said I would spare your life, and I won’t break my word. However, how much longer you can survive is now a matter of your fate!” Ye Qing patted his shoulder and checked his watch; it was about time.

Ye Qing walked up to Old Han and said coldly, ”Tell Boss Lin, today was just a warning. Whatever his men do to these disabled people, to these children, I will return in kind. So, accumulate some good deeds for yourself and don’t wait for me to find them!”

After saying this, Ye Qing turned around and walked out of the courtyard, disappearing into the vast night.

In the yard, there were four barely alive lucky individuals. They looked at each other; the horror of the past half-hour felt like the most terrible nightmare, one they were still unable to wake from. They didn’t know whether to feel lucky or sorrowful; even though they were alive, they were broken.

Finally, after another two minutes, the roaring sound of motorcycles approached from afar. The whir of assorted wheels and the flickering of distant headlights were heard; it was unclear how many vehicles were rushing over.

The four people in the yard looked outside nervously, not knowing whether the newcomers were the police or Boss Lin’s men. If it were the police, things would get even more troublesome for them. Not only were they crippled, but they would also likely be spending their lifetime in prison—the ultimate tragedy.

A dozen cars rushed to the entrance of the yard, and Boss Lin led nearly one hundred people in. But Ye Qing was no longer there.

Seeing the situation in the yard, Boss Lin’s eyes nearly popped out. Upon receiving the news, he immediately gathered his men, a group of over a hundred, planning for a showdown with Ye Qing tonight. He hadn’t anticipated that he would still be a step too late, and had lost so many men on top of that.

”Damn it, where is he? Where is the bastard named Ye?” Boss Lin cursed furiously.

”He... he just left...” Old Han said with a trembling voice.

”Find him for me, dig three feet into the ground if you have to, damn it, find him for me; I want to kill him! I want to kill him!” Boss Lin roared furiously, nearly driven to insanity by now.

”Eldest Brother!” A lackey ran over from behind, urgently saying, ”Just now, brothers from the West City Sub-bureau called, they said Zhao Chengshuang from Xicheng Police Station is leading a team over here, they’re almost here.”

”What!?” Boss Lin’s face underwent a drastic change; with dead bodies and drugs here, if they got caught, there would be no escaping for him. Moreover, the key point was that Zhao Chengshuang didn’t take orders from him!

”Eldest Brother, we can’t stay here for long!” Another lackey hurriedly said.

”Fuck his ancestors, it must be that bastard Ye Qing who phoned Zhao Chengshuang. That bastard clearly wants Zhao Chengshuang to catch me!” Boss Lin ground his teeth, stood up, and indignantly said, ”Take the four of them and let’s go!”

Four survivors in the yard were quickly carried onto a vehicle, and Boss Lin and his men dared not return the way they came. Instead, they kept moving forward to avoid the police team led by Zhao Chengshuang.

Less than five minutes after Boss Lin and his men had left, six or seven police cars charged over, with Zhao Chengshuang being wheeled out in a wheelchair.

The first group of officers rushed into the yard. Faced with the bloody scene, a few new police officers immediately crouched down and vomited. Even the veteran officers turned pale with fright at such a sight.

A police officer hurriedly ran out and anxiously reported to Zhao Chengshuang, ”Captain, there are a dozen or twenty people dead inside!”

”Captain, it seems there are people in the house!”

”Captain, there are also people in this house!”

Everyone came over to report, but Zhao Chengshuang had known all along. He waved his hand and said, ”The people in both houses are victims; rescue them out. Remember, these people are severely traumatized. First, identify yourselves to avoid frightening them further and causing unnecessary harm. Also, call and hurry the ambulance over here, tell them to come quickly!”

Zhao Chengshuang didn’t bother to investigate who the killer was, as he was very clear in his mind that this affair was probably inseparable from Ye Qing.

A team of police dispersed, each setting out to rescue the people in the houses. Despite identifying themselves as the police, it took quite some effort to coax the people inside to open the doors.

Seeing the actual police outside, the group of disabled people finally broke down and cried. After so long in darkness, they finally saw the light. For many, it was only at this moment that they suddenly felt the police were the most adorable people.

The children in the other house were still bewildered. The officers who entered saw the condition inside and their hearts wrenched. Unless they were utterly depraved or selfish, living only for themselves, there was no reason not to feel both angry and mournful at such a scene.

A few female officers ran into the children’s room, took off their jackets to wrap around the barely clothed little girls, their faces showing both outrage and compassion. Most of the officers were comforting the children, since they all had children of their own!

On this side, a small group of officers took great effort to stop the disabled people from beating the corpses. They could see the anger of the handicapped towards those dead in the yard. From their mouths, they had a good idea of what had happened.

Every one of them shared the same rage; this time, almost all the officers weren’t in a rush to find the killer but were instead focused on settling these handicapped individuals and the children.

Zhao Chengshuang, sitting in his wheelchair, surveyed both sides of the situation. Witnessing the tragic states of the people on the ground, he marveled at how ruthless Ye Qing was, especially with the three who had been choked to death with stool legs. However, when he saw the violated and dead little girl on the other side, he no longer considered Ye Qing’s methods to be cruel.

Instead, he felt Ye Qing had been too merciful. To be honest, even as a police officer, he wished he could beat the corpses himself!

”Captain, are these bastards even human?” a female officer said as she held a six or seven-year-old little girl, her heart aching, ”They’re just kids; how could they do such a thing?”

”Damn it, these people should all be caught and used as target practice!” another officer exclaimed with rage. While such words were unbecoming of a law officer, no one thought his words were too much at the moment!

A male officer slapped the table and said, ”Whoever killed these people, I damn well think he’s a hero, and I’m not going to catch him. Look at this kid; he’s two years younger than my own son. Do these beasts even count as human beings!”

”Right, right, I’m not going to catch him either!”

The crowd burst into a heated discussion, this being the first time they regarded a murderer as a hero!

Zhao Chengshuang remained silent; of course, he wasn’t going to catch Ye Qing. But with such a big incident, the higher-ups were bound to investigate. He waved his hand, signaling his trusted men to wheel him out to a secluded place, then he whispered, ”Destroy all evidences that can be collected from the scene!”

”Captain, you...” His confidant glanced at Zhao Chengshuang, excitedly saying, ”Damn, I’ve been wanting to do this. Rest assured, leave it to me; I guarantee not a single piece of evidence will be found by anyone who comes here!”

Indeed, by the time his confidant went to destroy the evidence, there was hardly anything left to destroy. First, Ye Qing hadn’t left much evidence; second, those collecting evidence had intentionally or unintentionally destroyed some key pieces. They all felt the same, not wanting the person responsible for this act to be caught.

Before long, several ambulances arrived with sirens wailing. The accompanying doctors and nurses were stunned to see so many disabled people gathered in one place. After hearing a brief account of the situation from the police at the scene, even the medical staff were filled with anger.

They didn’t even bother to check whether Boss Lin’s men were dead or alive but instead prioritized the disabled individuals and the children.
