Urban Martial Saint

Amidst her stupor, Lin Yashi felt her clothes being torn off and suddenly became much more alert.

As her consciousness gradually cleared, she felt several hands roaming over her body and she immediately screamed.

Boss Lin shuddered and looked over, Lin Yashi had already awakened. The four men had already torn her clothes halfway off, revealing her underwear.

Boss Lin, filled with anger, felt powerless to intervene and could only stand by helplessly, already beginning to regret why he had agreed to join Yang Shitao in this matter.

He Ziqiang burst out laughing and said, ”Oh, she’s awake. That’s even better, a reaction is the best. Brothers, keep going!”

”Let go of me! Let me go quickly! Let me go!” Lin Yashi screamed repeatedly, desperately trying to dodge. However, she was already tied up, and facing these four strong men, she was utterly unable to resist.

”Keep screaming, scream louder, I love hearing women scream!” one man laughed lewdly, Lin Yashi’s clothes were almost completely torn off now, the men were all fired up.

”Let me go, let me go quickly...” Lin Yashi’s voice began to choke, she knew clearly that her chances were slim. Feeling her underwear also being torn away, she shivered all over, and suddenly with a resolute heart, she shouted, ”Even if I die... I will not let you defile me...”

”No need to rush, soon you will wish you were dead!” a man laughed as he reached to touch Lin Yashi’s delicate body.

Lin Yashi’s entire body shuddered, and suddenly she screamed, followed by blood starting to ooze from the corner of her mouth.

”What happened?” He Ziqiang froze for a moment, then hurriedly ran over.

Boss Lin’s face changed drastically, and he too ran over. The four men were also scared and stopped their actions, unsure of what they had done, what exactly was wrong with Lin Yashi?

When Boss Lin ran over, the blood from the corner of Lin Yashi’s mouth was already flowing out. He Ziqiang pried open her mouth, and his expression instantly changed as he said solemnly, ”She... she’s bitten her tongue off...”

Everyone was shocked, and Boss Lin sat down heavily on the ground. He finally understood the meaning of Lin Yashi’s words; she would rather die than be defiled, and she had chosen to bite off her tongue in suicide.

”Big brother, how can we continue with this?” one man said gloomily.

He Ziqiang roared, ”Continue my ass, go find some medicine quickly. Damn it, if she dies, our money is gone too!”

The four men were also panicked and hurriedly turned and left to handle the situation.

Looking at the weakened Lin Yashi lying on the ground, constantly spitting out blood, He Ziqiang’s brows furrowed tightly. He had never expected that this woman would be so resolute, choosing such a method of suicide. Seeing Boss Lin slumped on the ground beside him, he gritted his teeth, dragged Boss Lin out from behind the pile of rocks.

”You’ve seen the situation, the pressing matter now is to quickly use the Lin family’s hands to deal with Ye Qing, so that both you and the Yang could have your revenge.

I don’t care how you do it, but you must make the Lin family believe this was Ye Qing’s negligence and make them act against him.” He Ziqiang paused, then continued solemnly, ”You’re already in this too deep, and if I get caught, you won’t have it easy either. So, you’d better cooperate. Otherwise, your death will be ugly too!”

Boss Lin stared blankly at the pile of rocks containing Lin Yashi, only coming back to his senses after a long while. He looked up at He Ziqiang, said nothing, and walked away disconsolately.

He Ziqiang watched Boss Lin’s retreating figure, silent for a long while, then turned by the pile of rocks and pulled out a pinhole camera. He pocketed the pinhole camera and coldly watched the direction Boss Lin left in, a smirk spreading across his face.

Ye Qing was still at the precinct, and the data on the man in black had been brought in.

The man in black, named He Bing, was thirty-one years old and from Huaxia East Province. He had no prior record in the Mainland but was linked to at least five kidnapping and extortion cases in Xiangjiang, and notably, he was cousins with the notorious Xiangjiang kidnapper, He Ziqiang.

Having seen this information, Zhao Chengshuang was stunned. As a member of the police force, he had certainly heard of He Ziqiang, aware of how formidable a criminal he was, one that had left the Xiangjiang Police helpless. That it was him who had abducted Lin Yashi, meant the situation was far more complicated than he had imagined.

He Ziqiang was extremely difficult to handle, and even with Ye Qing’s help, he doubted whether they could retrieve Lin Yashi.

However, upon further reflection, only an international thief like He Ziqiang would have the audacity to kidnap Lin Yashi Hua Yu. Anybody else who dared to do such a thing was simply seeking death. After all, Zhen Nan was a man who could shake Shenchuan City with a mere stomp of his foot!

Ye Qing was unaware of all this and after reading the information, asked Zhao Chengshuang, ”Who is this He Ziqiang?”

”You don’t know who He Ziqiang is?” Zhao Chengshuang’s eyes widened in astonishment as he stared at Ye Qing.

”I don’t know,” Ye Qing answered honestly.

”This He Ziqiang, well... he can sure be considered a celebrity!” Zhao Chengshuang gasped for air and recounted the situation of He Ziqiang to Ye Qing from start to finish, including several major cases He Ziqiang had committed. Each of these cases had shocked the world, one could say that He Ziqiang was absolutely the most notorious international thief in recent years.

Ye Qing listened intently to Zhao Chengshuang’s words, then fell silent for a while before asking, ”Do you have his information?”

”Of course, he’s an international fugitive now, almost every agency has his information.” Zhao Chengshuang called someone to bring over He Ziqiang’s information, which was much more substantial than that of He Bing.

Ye Qing went through the information meticulously from beginning to end, and by the time he finished, it was already four-thirty in the afternoon. That is to say, he had spent well over three hours going through the materials here, which was unlike Zhao Chengshuang’s original assumption.

Zhao Chengshuang had thought that Ye Qing would return to the original location to investigate and look for clues to capture the culprits. However, Ye Qing did not do that at all.

Seeing that Ye Qing finally set the information aside, Zhao Chengshuang hurriedly asked, ”How is it? When are we going to rescue her?”

”Hold on,” Ye Qing replied as he put the information back in its place. ”Do you have a more detailed map of Shenchuan City?”

Zhao Chengshuang responded, ”Yes, but what do you want to do with it?”

Ye Qing said, ”Bring it here for me to see.”

Zhao Chengshuang instructed someone to bring the detailed map of Shenchuan, which was so thorough that the entire map, when unfolded, could almost cover a whole room.

”Normally this map is impossible to use; the scale is too large. We usually just take out the specific area we need to look at,” Zhao Chengshuang pointed out on the map. ”Which part do you need?”

”No need,” Ye Qing turned his head, took the map into the yard, and spread it out entirely before starting to examine it carefully.

Zhao Chengshuang followed behind, looked at the map, and then at Ye Qing, suddenly exclaiming, ”Damn, don’t tell me you are trying to locate He Ziqiang on this map? Shenchuan City is so vast, it’s not easy to find him just anywhere, don’t be ridiculous.”

Ye Qing shook his head and said, ”Every person has their own characteristics and habits in what they do. As long as we figure out his habits, the things he does actually follow a pattern!”

Zhao Chengshuang replied, ”No need to figure it out, there’s no pattern. I’m telling you, this guy He is extremely cunning; the major cases he committed in Xiangjiang were never traceable. He operates very secretively, his whereabouts are erratic, and his methods are inscrutable. It’s completely impossible to predict!”

”Cunning is also a characteristic!” Ye Qing continued looking at the map, scrutinizing every inch, as if he could actually spot He Ziqiang on this map.

”What is this? What are you doing?” Zhou Jianbin had just returned and seeing the map covering the ground in the courtyard, he became infuriated and shouted as he walked over, ”This is a police station, not your family courtyard! What are you exposing here? A map? What exactly do you want to do? This map is for police system use only; are you a cop?”

”Uncle Zhou, I provided it for him,” Zhao Chengshuang said.

”Why would you provide him with this?” Zhou Jianbin glanced at Ye Qing and questioned, ”Didn’t you say you were going to find Yashi? Why are you still here? Can you find Yashi on this map or what?”

Ye Qing ignored him and continued intently studying the map. Zhao Chengshuang, also puzzled by Ye Qing’s behavior, gave an awkward smile to Zhou Jianbin and asked, ”Uncle Zhou, how is my aunt doing?”

”What else could it be? Her little daughter got kidnapped, she’s of course anxious!” Zhou Jianbin grumbled angrily, ”Mr. Ye, you had better behave yourself. Before we clear up this matter with Yashi, don’t think about leaving Shenchuan City!”

After saying that, Zhou Jianbin went into the station with a few of his subordinates to analyze the clues gathered in the afternoon, as well as the testimonies of the kidnappers. Meanwhile, Ye Qing still stood in the courtyard, meticulously studying the map.

Zhao Chengshuang watched anxiously from the side, asking, ”Hey, Little Leaf, until when are you going to keep looking? Haven’t you said that the longer it takes, the more dangerous it is for my aunt? If we don’t go out and find her, wouldn’t it be even more dangerous?”

Ye Qing didn’t answer, just took a pen and bent down to draw a circle on the map.

”What does that mean?” Zhao Chengshuang asked in astonishment as he looked at the spot Ye Qing had circled. It was an old highway in Shenchuan City that had been abandoned. There had been a few villages there before, but due to urban development, the residents of these villages had all relocated, making it one of the most remote areas in Shenchuan City, barely inhabited.

Ye Qing continued to lower his head, inspecting each detail bit by bit, and after a while, he drew another circle on the map. He continued like this for a full half hour and ended up drawing three circles in total.

”What is this? What does it mean? What are you doing?” Zhao Chengshuang kept pressing for answers, unable to understand what Ye Qing was up to.

Ye Qing said in a grave tone, ”Send someone to these three places to search, there’s a ninety-five percent chance your aunt is hiding in one of these spots.”
