Urban Martial Saint

The first man to rush in front of Ye Qing was an unlucky fellow, as he bore Ye Qing’s first punch.

His machete had not yet fallen when Ye Qing’s punch had already landed on his temple. The man was instantly sent flying backward, lying motionless on the ground.

”What happened?” the man in a tank top walked over to help him up, checked his nostrils, and his face suddenly changed: ”Damn, is he dead?”

These desperados, hacking people was nothing unusual, and fighting was commonplace. However, having been in the gang for so many years, they had never seen anyone who could kill a man with a single punch. Even Lu Zhishen had killed Zhen Guanxi with three punches. How could this seemingly thin and weak young man kill a man thirty pounds heavier than him with one punch?

The other few men had no time to look back at what was happening and, toting their machetes, charged at Ye Qing, hacking at various parts of his body.

Ye Qing sidestepped the two closest machetes and swept his right leg, knocking three men’s machetes out of their hands. At the same time, he snatched a machete from a man beside him and let out a beast-like grunt, chopping the wrist of another man still wielding a machete.

The machete was not sharp, but the force of Ye Qing’s blow was tremendous, severing the man’s hand.

”Ah!” The man covered his wrist and rolled on the ground in agony; usually, he was the one hacking off other people’s limbs, and now that his own hand was chopped off, he finally understood how painful it could be.

The rest were stunned by Ye Qing’s skills, and the man in the tank top paused, urgently saying, ”Call for help, call for help! You bastard, who the hell are you, do you know whose turf this is?”

Ye Qing didn’t answer. Holding the machete, he chopped off the right feet of two more men. These two men clutched their legs, rolling on the ground and screaming in pain. Of the seven who had come out initially, in less than two minutes, one was dead, three were crippled, leaving only three men. Seeing Ye Qing’s threatening presence, these three were only trembling uncontrollably.

The man in the tank top took steps back while shouting towards the other yard: ”Brother Jiu, Brother Jiu, come quickly, there’s trouble here!”

This was two connected yards, separated only by a wall. Hearing the noise from this side, a loud shout came from the other side: ”What’s the matter? Damn it, who is so bold as to cause trouble here?”

”Come quickly, this guy is tough, we can’t beat him!” the man in the tank top urged.

There was a flurry of footsteps from the other side; it seemed like quite a few people were running over. Yet, Ye Qing didn’t care at all. He continued and chopped off the legs of the remaining two people. Now, only the man in the tank top was left standing in the yard.

At this point, the man in the tank top was almost scared to wet himself, looking at Ye Qing in front of him, he suddenly remembered the person they had been desperately avoiding all this time. He hesitated for a moment, then cautiously asked, ”Are you... are you Ye Qing?”

”Yes!” Ye Qing gripped the machete, walking up to the man in the tank top.

The man in the tank top shivered in fear, aware of the gap between him and Ye Qing. He raised his machete to resist, but he didn’t know where to strike. In that moment of hesitation, Ye Qing had already rushed up, snatching the machete from his hand.

”I heard you wanted a kidney, and two corneas,” Ye Qing knocked the man in the tank top to the ground, pointing at the men in the yard, he coldly said, ”Pick whichever you like, I’ll take them out for you right now!”

The man in the tank top stared at Ye Qing, too terrified to speak. Previously, it was always they who chose others. Now, to choose for himself, what was this feeling?

”Not choosing?” Ye Qing glanced at the man in the tank top, said, ”Then I’ll choose for you.”

As Ye Qing spoke, he pulled one of the men on the ground up to the man in the tank top’s front, saying, ”His eyes aren’t bad, what do you think?”

”No... no...” The man screamed, his voice tearing through the air. His foot had been chopped off, the intense pain leaving him powerless to resist.

Watching his brother scream pitifully in front of him, the man in the tank top opened his mouth wide but could not speak a word.

”Not speaking means consent, then it’s decided.” Ye Qing placed the knife point on the man’s eyes and suddenly swept it across, and the man screamed, clutching his eyes, rolling on the ground.

Ye Qing didn’t remove his corneas but blinded both his eyes.

”You... you madman, you have the nerve to kill him, why... why are you torturing people like this!” the man in the tank top nearly broke down yelling: ”You madman! You executioner! You’re insane!”

Ye Qing stood up, pointing at the sacks of bodies on the side, coldly said, ”Haven’t you been torturing people?”

The man in the tank top yelled, ”They were all useless, alive for nothing, we were just recycling waste. My brothers are living people, they have hands and feet, normal people, how can they compare to those beasts?”

Ye Qing slowly shook his head, looking at the man in the tank top, said, ”In my eyes, you are the beasts!”

Just then, the door was kicked open, and a dozen men rushed in, the group from the next yard had finally arrived.

”What’s going on?” The one leading them was Brother Jiu, and seeing the situation in the yard, he couldn’t help but gasp in shock.

In this courtyard, seven men now all lay on the ground. And the one who did it was just one person, he was starting to have a bad feeling.

The man in the tank top saw his savior and shrieked, ”Brother Jiu, he... he is that Ye...”

Upon hearing this, Brother Jiu instinctively stepped back. Ye Qing’s name, they had all heard of. In their eyes, Ye Qing was like the soul-reaping White Impermanence, absolutely a harbinger of death for them!

”How did... how did this Ye find this place?” Brother Jiu said, trembling as he looked at the blood-dripping machete in Ye Qing’s hand, he involuntarily swallowed his spit.

Even though he had more than a dozen people by his side, he still felt unsafe.

”I don’t know either, suddenly he came!” The man in the tank top paused for a moment, then suddenly yelled, ”Damn it, Scar Lee was here just a moment ago. Right after Scar left, this Ye guy showed up!”

”That bastard Scar Lee, he actually dared to betray us!” Brother Jiu yelled, but he didn’t dare move forward an inch.

The man in the tank top, utterly frustrated, couldn’t help but say, ”Brother Jiu, let’s not worry about Scar Lee for now. You have more people over there, first deal with this Ye guy, this is a great opportunity to make a name for ourselves.”

Brother Jiu glanced at Ye Qing and said awkwardly, ”Old Han, it’s not that I don’t want to help you. But this Ye guy is merciless. If we fight, my brothers here will definitely suffer greatly. How about this, I... I’ll go out and call for more people...”

Brother Jiu then ran towards the exit. Ye Qing had made a name for himself among Boss Lin’s men recently. Moreover, with Old Han’s seven men beaten up like this and Ye Qing unharmed, Brother Jiu was no fool; with just his dozen men, they definitely were no match for Ye Qing.

Besides, Ye Qing was especially brutal when he attacked, and if they lost today, their lives would be over, he couldn’t risk that.

Just as Brother Jiu reached the doorway, a machete whistled through the air, narrowly passing by his head, and embedded itself in the door. The blade trembling continuously, emitted a piercing buzzing sound. Brother Jiu was also petrified, a few strands of his hair had been carried away by the machete. Had it been a fraction off, it might have chopped into his head.

Trembling, Brother Jiu turned around to look, Ye Qing’s hand was now empty. Without a doubt, that machete had been thrown by Ye Qing.

”What... what do you want to do?” Brother Jiu said, his voice shaking.

”Since you’re here, don’t leave!” Ye Qing slowly walked towards Brother Jiu and his men.

Brother Jiu’s expression changed, and he said threateningly yet fearfully, ”Ye, don’t think I’m afraid of you. I have so many brothers, how the hell are you going to fight me?”

Ye Qing kept silent, step by step, he walked over. Facing the unarmed Ye Qing, Brother Jiu’s men were like they were facing a great enemy; each clenching their machetes tightly, watching Ye Qing nervously. Even as Ye Qing walked into the crowd, showing his back to them, no one dared to move forward even an inch.

These men were terrified by Ye Qing, in their eyes, Ye Qing had been thoroughly mythologized. Although they hadn’t started fighting, they were already intimidated.

Ye Qing slowly walked up to Brother Jiu, whose body was trembling violently. Finally unable to withstand the immense psychological pressure, he raised his machete and yelled loudly, ”I’m going all out with you!”

Brother Jiu was the first to swing his machete towards Ye Qing, and two of his subordinates also made their move simultaneously, three machetes chopping down at him.

Ye Qing was very steady, he grabbed the machete from Brother Jiu’s hand, stepped forward to dodge the other two machetes. Then, with a backhand swing, his machete sliced across the cheeks of the two next to him. The taller one’s neck got severed, and the shorter one had half his nose chopped off, both screaming in pain while covering their faces.

Brother Jiu was stunned, and in that moment, Ye Qing had already grabbed his collar and thrown him into the yard.

Ye Qing then shut the courtyard door, pointed at everyone inside and coldly said, ”Today, nobody is leaving!”

Brother Jiu got up from the ground and nearly breaking down, yelled, ”Go, get him, kill him! Kill him!”

Aside from two rash subordinates who charged forward, the others didn’t dare to make a move. And to Ye Qing, these two were nothing. He easily chopped them down with one foot each, both falling to the ground screaming in pain.

”Come on! Why aren’t you attacking? Everyone get him!” Brother Jiu yelled, but his men were all retreating.

Ye Qing, holding the machete, stepped into the courtyard and said coldly, ”Come all at once. Even if you don’t fight back, I’m not letting any of you off today!”

The remaining eight or nine men looked at each other, finally, one person took the lead and with a loud yell, rushed towards Ye Qing with a machete.

Brother Jiu, on the other hand, acted decisively. While his subordinate charged forward, he quietly walked to the wall, and attempting to jump over it to escape. Because he knew, those eight or nine men wouldn’t hold Ye Qing back for long!
