Urban Martial Saint

Ye Qing originally didn’t want to bother with Pu Tianri, but upon hearing him, he couldn’t help but take another look at Pu Tianri. It was often said that people from Stick Country were arrogant. Today, he had witnessed it firsthand.

Ye Qing glared coldly at Pu Tianri and said, ”Hmph, an arrogant fool!”

”It’s not arrogance, it’s confidence!” Pu Tianri suddenly kicked his right leg up to the height of his head, standing on one foot and looking down at Ye Qing arrogantly, he said, ”Taekwondo is the strongest martial arts in the world, bar none. If you disagree, try to last five minutes against me!”

Ye Qing was also angered and pointed at Pu Tianri, saying, ”Within three moves, if I don’t knock you down, then I’ll admit our Huaxia Martial Arts is inferior to your Taekwondo!”

”Seeking death!” Pu Tianri’s eyes turned icy cold, and with a sudden shout, he charged toward Ye Qing. When he was still three meters away from Ye Qing, he had already leaped into the air, his right foot flying towards Ye Qing’s head.

Ye Qing raised his right arm to protect his head, taking the blow from Pu Tianri’s kick. The powerful force made Ye Qing take a step back. Ye Qing was inwardly shocked, realizing that Pu Tianri did have some skills and was not just all talk.

Pu Tianri was even more surprised than Ye Qing. He had picked up speed with a running start, kicking with all his might, yet it only made Ye Qing take a small step back. He knew that his previous opponents were usually sent flying by his kick.

Looking at Ye Qing again, Pu Tianri’s eyes grew more solemn. He knew that Ye Qing was not an easy opponent.

Ye Qing calmly looked at Pu Tianri and stretched out one finger, saying, ”One move!”

In fact, Ye Qing had only blocked and had not made a move, so it didn’t count as a move. By counting it as one, Ye Qing was clearly not taking Pu Tianri seriously.

Pu Tianri roared in fury, shouting, ”Arrogant,” and then suddenly dashed forward a few steps, leaping into the air, sweeping his legs horizontally. This move was more powerful than the previous one, a true Taekwondo master could deliver three kicks in the air with this move, capable of knocking down three strong men.

He had counted clearly. Even if Ye Qing could block the first kick, he would have to block the next two. This meant Ye Qing would have to block three times in total, plus the previous move, making it more than three moves. No matter what, he intended to make Ye Qing lose face first.

Seeing Pu Tianri’s ferocious approach, Ye Qing’s body slightly sank, his right foot subtly retreating half a step, anchoring onto the ground. Just as Pu Tianri was about to reach him, Ye Qing stomped his right foot, letting out a loud shout, and rushed out like a cannonball. His right shoulder led the charge, instantly colliding with Pu Tianri.

Pu Tianri was immediately knocked back by the impact, stumbling several steps backwards before he could stabilize himself. However, by then, Ye Qing had charged at him again, his arms together. Just as he reached Pu Tianri, his right elbow shot forward, striking Pu Tianri directly in the face.

Pu Tianri managed a quick reaction, hurriedly raising his arms to block. However, with a crack, his left arm was broken by Ye Qing’s impact, and Ye Qing, without any hindrance, hit him squarely in the chest. Pu Tianri, like a bounced ball, was sent flying back seven or eight meters, only stopping when he hit a wall.

He slumped to the ground, spitting out mouthfuls of blood as several of his ribs were broken.

The crowd gasped, understanding well the strength of Pu Tianri. Nobody expected that he would be so thoroughly defeated in front of Ye Qing.

Ye Qing coldly glanced at Pu Tianri and said, ”Just three moves!”

Pu Tianri was beyond speaking, only glaring furiously at Ye Qing, evidently unwilling to accept the defeat. Ye Qing ignored him and turned to walk towards Fang Cai, who was trying to escape.

Seeing Pu Tianri lose, Fang Cai knew that these men definitely couldn’t stop Ye Qing. In fact, he had originally planned for so many people to gang up and surely restrain Ye Qing. But these men insisted on fighting one-on-one, leading to this outcome, and now they didn’t dare confront Ye Qing anymore.

Ye Qing quickly caught up with Fang Cai. Seeing no way to escape, Fang Cai turned his head and glared at Ye Qing, saying, ”Ye, what do you want to do? I warn you, my uncle is the deputy director of the Shenchuan City Police Department, my father is the chairman of the Shenhua Group, if you... if you dare touch me, I’ll make sure you have nowhere to be buried!”

”Someone named Yang Wei said the same thing once, but he’s dead!” Ye Qing walked up to Fang Cai, suddenly kicking him in the chest. Fang Cai immediately collapsed to the ground, gasping for air.

”I’m very fair with my actions. However you treat others, I will treat you the same way!” Ye Qing turned his head, pointing at a young man wearing glasses, and said, ”You, come here.”

”Ah?” The man was startled and hurriedly said, ”I... I didn’t... I didn’t mean to stop you...”

Ye Qing nodded. ”I know. Lend me your glasses.”

The young man immediately took off his glasses and threw them from afar. ”No need to return them.”

”Thank you.” Ye Qing picked up the glasses, while Fang Cai clutched his chest, unsure of what Ye Qing was planning to do next.

Ye Qing pinched the lens and suddenly exerted force, shattering the lens. He selected a particularly sharp fragment and grabbed Fang Cai’s right hand.

Young Master Fang lost his color in shock and struggled as he yelled, ”What are you doing? What are you doing? Let me go! Let me go!”

Ye Qing, holding the lens, directly cut the blood vessel in Young Master Fang’s wrist, and blood instantly gushed out.

The bystanders around them were petrified by what Ye Qing had done. They would not have been terrified if Ye Qing had merely beaten up Young Master Fang, but slicing open his wrist was a different matter entirely.

”Help... help... help me...” Young Master Fang cried out, with a trembling voice he looked at his martial brothers and said, ”I don’t want to die, I... I don’t want to die, my family is so wealthy, I... I really don’t want to die, help... call an ambulance, call...

call an ambulance...”

No one dared to come forward, even Long Hair, who stood outside the martial arts gym, was terrified with cold sweat all over his back.

”Don’t worry, you won’t die!” Ye Qing threw away the lens, sat next to Young Master Fang, and said, ”Wang Tiezhu didn’t die, neither will you.”

”Then... then hurry up and save me, call an ambulance...” Young Master Fang’s tears started to flow.

”Don’t rush!” Ye Qing said calmly, ”You must bleed as much as Wang Tiezhu did. Once it’s enough, I’ll call an ambulance for you!”

”What?” Young Master Fang almost collapsed, anxiously saying, ”He... he committed suicide, it has nothing to do with me... how can you compare him to me?”

Ye Qing coldly said, ”You know in your heart whether it has anything to do with you, his blood won’t be shed in vain!”

”You... you madman...” Young Master Fang completely broke down and lay on the ground crying miserably, ”Help, save me, he... he’s a madman, he’s going to kill me, please, save me, I... I don’t want to die, my family is so wealthy, I really... really don’t want to die...”

At that moment, his martial brothers saw Ye Qing as if they were seeing a ferocious beast, and nobody dared to approach Ye Qing. So, no one paid attention to Young Master Fang; not even the police were called, fearing that it might provoke Ye Qing to make them bleed as well.

Long Hair, watching from outside the gym, shivered with his legs trembling, secretly glad he was on Ye Qing’s side. Having such an enemy, honestly, would give anyone nightmares!

Three minutes of bleeding passed, Young Master Fang’s clothes were soaked in red and his face turned extremely pale, his body so weak that he could no longer crawl.

Only then did Ye Qing walk over, grabbed his wrist, pressed down on the vessel to slow the bleeding, and finally called an ambulance.

Ten minutes later, Young Master Fang was taken by ambulance to the hospital. His injuries were not as severe as Wang Tiezhu’s; he didn’t even need emergency treatment.

Half an hour later, the Fang Family arrived at the hospital. They were shocked upon receiving the news. Seeing Young Master Fang injured, the Fang Family was even more infuriated, ranting outside the ward that the culprit must be severely punished no matter what. Young Master Fang’s mother, Luo Caiyun, even directly called her brother, demanded that he immediately arrest the assailant.

Meanwhile, Lin Huayu also heard about what Ye Qing had done and immediately went to find her father, Lin Zhen Nan, to ask him to help Ye Qing.

Lin Zhen Nan was somewhat dissatisfied with Ye Qing’s methods, but Ye Qing had saved Lin Huayu’s life; he couldn’t just ignore it. Through the Lin family’s influence, he managed to suppress the matter, and by the time the Fang Family received the news, it was already afternoon.

Young Master Fang’s father, Fang Cailiang, upon learning that Lin Zhen Nan was protecting Ye Qing, felt helpless. Although the Fang family had some power, it paled in comparison to Lin Zhen Nan. If Lin Zhen Nan wanted to protect Ye Qing, even if he fought with the entire Fang Family, they couldn’t overpower Ye Qing.

Young Master Fang’s mother, Luo Caiyun, was furiously indignant over this affair and continuously ranted in the ward about going up against the Lin family and pressuring Fang Cailiang to kill Ye Qing to avenge their son.

Unable to bear it anymore, Fang Cailiang slapped Luo Caiyun across the face and angrily said, ”What do you know? Just some time ago, the explosion at North Huanqian Bay Bar killed so many wealthy young people, and Ye is still at large; do you think he’s just an ordinary person? I’ve heard he has a very strong backing in the province; you should be glad your son is still alive!”

Luo Caiyun was stunned by the slap from Fang Cailiang, and after a long while, she finally started shouting loudly, ”And to think you’re a CEO of a corporation, someone bullies your son, and you don’t seek revenge. You have no backbone at all, you might as well let him kill us both and be rid of the burden, and you can live alone!”

Fang Cailiang trembled with rage and said sternly, ”Luo Caiyun, don’t always blame others. Why would he cut our son’s wrist if everything was fine? You ask around about this. If our son is not at fault, even if it means a fight to the death with Lin Zhen Nan, I will kill that man surnamed Ye!”

Luo Caiyun angrily said, ”Our son, don’t you know him? Since childhood, he has been a good boy, won so many awards at school, has always been an exemplary student, he also plays the piano, he’s a perfect person. How could he do anything wrong!”

Fang Cailiang shook his head and sighed, ”Too much love from the mother ruins the child! Too much love from the mother ruins the child indeed!”
