Urban Martial Saint

Wang Tiezhu’s hospitalization was personally arranged by Lin Zhen Nan. In the past few days, Lin Tian You had left Shenchuan City to attend a conference in another place. Lin Huayu, bored of sitting around, went to visit her cousin, Zhao Chengshuang.

Ye Qing had been taking care of Wang Tiezhu all along, with Lin Huayu also having those two bodyguards accompanying her the entire time. Moreover, with police ready at the hospital at any moment, Ye Qing felt the place was secure, so he didn’t escort Lin Huayu throughout.

Upon hearing Lin Huayu’s cry for help, Ye Qing’s expression changed instantly, and he rushed out of the ward toward the direction of the sound.

The sound came from the second floor, and the stairs were about thirty meters away from here. Ye Qing didn’t bother with the stairs; he flipped over the railing and jumped down the floors in the corridor.

Long Hair, who happened to come out, saw Ye Qing jump from the hallway and couldn’t help but exclaim in surprise. He hurried to the railing, only to see Ye Qing already grabbing the second floor’s railing and flipping over it.

Long Hair was completely stunned. The last time at the Taekwondo Gym, he had already witnessed Ye Qing’s prowess. But he hadn’t expected that Ye Qing’s capabilities would be so extraordinary. You have to understand, they were on the fourth floor here, and the jump down was more than just grabbing the railing.

If the strength in his arms wasn’t sufficient, the force of the fall would have dislocated his arms!

Fang Cai Liang followed Long Hair out and also saw Ye Qing jumping down, but he thought his eyes were playing tricks and asked Long Hair, ”Just now... did Ye just jump down from here?”

Unable to speak, Long Hair nodded, causing Fang Cai Liang to widen his eyes, his estimation of Ye climbed even higher.

Actually, neither Long Hair nor Fang Cai Liang knew that Ye Qing hadn’t jumped directly to the second floor. After all, two floors were over six meters high; even with his strength, a direct jump would be hard to withstand the heavy impact. At the third floor, he lightly tapped on the railing with his toes, dissipating some force.

Thus, when he landed on the second floor, the force of the fall wasn’t too great, allowing him to easily grab the railing and leap to the second floor.

When Ye Qing jumped down from the fourth floor, he had already seen what was happening on the second floor. Lin Huayu’s two bodyguards were on the ground, bleeding from the back of their heads. Lin Huayu was being dragged by two men in black, almost reaching the stairway of the second floor.

Given that both bodyguards were quite competent and had been taken down, Ye Qing couldn’t help but feel more vigilant, as it appeared that those who came to capture Lin Huayu were no ordinary folks.

Ye Qing didn’t think any further and quickly chased after them. However, having walked less than ten meters, two patients leaning on crutches as if they were tripped suddenly staggered and fell toward Ye Qing.

Ye Qing immediately reached out to help them, but just as his hands were about to touch the two, his hands suddenly clenched into fists, striking both men in the abdomen. At the same time, Ye Qing almost reflexively dropped to the ground. Just then, two hammers narrowly missed where his head had been. Had not Ye Qing dropped to the floor when he did, the hammers would have struck his head.

The moment he hit the floor, Ye Qing rolled backward, and the two men wielding hammers bent down to strike again. Ye Qing’s rollback evaded their attack and, seizing the opportunity, he grabbed the hammers from their hands, jumped up, and struck down on their shoulders with both hammers simultaneously.

Both men screamed in agony, Ye Qing struck with full force, causing their arms to hang limply, virtually shattering their shoulder bones.

Ye Qing then threw away the hammers and twisted both men’s legs, breaking them. He then moved to the two ”patients” and without hesitation, did the same to their legs. He did so to prevent these four from escaping, as he had many questions for them.

”What happened?” At that moment, shouts came from afar, and several policemen ran over from a distance.

Ye Qing recognized them as friends of Zhao Chengshuang. He pointed to the four men on the ground and shouted loudly, ”Watch them closely, they kidnapped Captain Zhao’s cousin, don’t let them get away!”

The policemen certainly knew who Zhao Chengshuang’s cousin was, and upon hearing this, they were taken aback. Lin Zhen Nan’s beloved daughter had been abducted from the hospital, how could this be allowed?

Ye Qing didn’t dare to delay even a moment, and seeing that Lin Huayu had already been taken into the staircase, he didn’t have time to run in that direction and instead jumped directly down from the upstairs.

The height of the second floor was hardly a challenge for Ye Qing, especially with a flowerbed below. Upon landing, he rolled to dissipate the force of the fall. As he got up, he saw Lin Huayu being led out from the stairway by the two men in black.

”Ye, save me…” Lin Huayu screamed loudly, her face pale with fright.

Ye Qing moved like a swift leopard, weaving through the crowd and quickly catching up to the two men in black.

However, just then, six or seven men suddenly charged out from the side, wielding various weapons and running toward Ye Qing.

Ye Qing furrowed his brows, seeing that the kidnapping was well-prepared by the other side, having arranged so many people, seemingly all targeting him.

To these men, Ye Qing showed no mercy, charging into the crowd and knocking down several with a flurry of punches. Throughout this, his speed never decreased even the slightest, the six or seven men not standing a chance to stop him.

Of course, Ye Qing was not without injury; his arm had been cut. Had he not been rushing to save Lin Huayu, these few would not have been able to hurt him at all. Now fearing for Lin Huayu’s safety, Ye Qing couldn’t care less about his own safety. Ignoring the injury, he had to deal with these men in the shortest possible time.

The two men in black never expected Ye Qing to be so formidable. As Ye Qing got closer, the men were getting anxious and began to drag Lin Huayu outside in a rush. Ye Qing was sprinting after them, about to catch up, when suddenly his leg felt as if it had been bitten by a mosquito, followed by a tingling numbness.

Ye Qing’s expression changed. Having trained in the special forces for so long, he knew exactly what this numbness meant. It was a popular North American tranquilizer gun, very fine and small, barely noticeable to most people. But once hit, this needle could immobilize a trained soldier for twelve hours.

He hadn’t expected this group of kidnappers to possess such advanced weaponry, clearly no ordinary criminals!

At that moment, a man wearing black sunglasses approached with a faint smile and said, ”Young man, you are quite capable. Sadly, human strength has its limits; technology reigns supreme. No matter how good a fighter you are, you can’t defeat a tiny tranquilizer needle, hahaha…”

This man was none other than He Ziqiang, who was quite pleased with himself. Despite Yang Shitao and Boss Lin warning that Ye Qing was not to be underestimated, he now thought that Ye Qing was just an ordinary brawler at best!

Ye Qing’s shot leg could barely support him anymore. He coldly watched He Ziqiang in front of him, then suddenly extended his right hand and pressed three fingers on his thigh. Each press was forceful, and He Ziqiang even doubted whether Ye Qing’s leg would bruise from the pressure.

”What are you doing? Hurting yourself?” He Ziqiang said disdainfully, ”This tranquilizer spreads through the bloodstream; soon you’ll be completely powerless, and I want to see how long you can still stand!”

Before he had finished speaking, Ye Qing suddenly sprang towards him on one foot.

He Ziqiang hadn’t expected Ye Qing to strike at this moment. He quickly retreated several steps, trying to dodge Ye Qing and deplete his energy. However, as it turned out, that was futile. Ye Qing, balancing on one foot, kept jumping, showing no signs of fatigue.

He Ziqiang was shocked. He couldn’t understand how this was happening. Normally, a person hit by this tranquilizer would quickly lose all their strength, but why could Ye Qing still hold up for so long? Was his physique different from others?

In fact, Ye Qing wasn’t physically different; he had merely sealed the blood vessels in his leg. This was an Acupoint Seeking Technique recorded in ancient texts, allowing temporary cessation of blood flow, thus preventing the tranquilizer from spreading throughout the body. Until now, Ye Qing hadn’t managed to release his Inner Strength and had to rely on brute force to seal the acupoints.

Of course, this also sealed the acupoints, but it meant he would experience pain in his leg for several days—a necessary sacrifice.

Now, with only one functioning leg, Ye Qing knew it was too late to run after Lin Huayu outside and instead focused on capturing He Ziqiang to trade for Lin Huayu.

He Ziqiang, aware of Ye Qing’s dominance, didn’t dare come too close even though Ye Qing was moving on only one leg. Finding himself cornered, he didn’t even try to stop Ye Qing but turned and ran outside.

Ye Qing chased him out where the two men in black were trying to push Lin Huayu into a car, pulling the car door open.

”Hurry up! Hurry!” He Ziqiang shouted, running over to help.

Just then, a white sedan sped by and struck their car. The impact sent the vehicle hurling forward several meters, smashing its front into a flowerbed and almost completely wrecking it.

He Ziqiang and his accomplices were stunned, but He Ziqiang was quick to react, pulling open the door of the white sedan and diving in.

The driver was a middle-aged American woman. Ye Qing had seen her before; she was Lin Huayu’s aunt, Lin Yashi. No wonder she was driving so fast; she must have seen Lin Huayu being kidnapped.

Once inside the car, He Ziqiang pulled out a dagger and held it to Lin Yashi’s throat while turning to his accomplices, urgently saying, ”Get her in here!”

One accomplice went to pull the car door while the other tried to shove Lin Huayu inside. At that moment, Ye Qing also leapt out on one leg, closing in to within five meters of them.

The men holding Lin Huayu were taken aback, struggling to force Lin Huayu into the car. However, Lin Huayu kept struggling, and it seemed unlikely they would manage to get her inside while Ye Qing was approaching.

Realizing the challenge, He Ziqiang made a swift decision and said, ”Forget her, Mouse, you drive!”

One man immediately ran to the driver’s seat, disregarding that Lin Yashi was still seated there, opened the door and climbed in.

The other man also ignored Lin Huayu, pulling open the car door to climb inside. At that moment, Ye Qing reached them, grabbed the man by his collar, and yanked him back.

Seeing this, He Ziqiang knew it was too late to rescue his man and could only shout, ”Drive!”

The man in the driver’s seat, sitting on top of Lin Yashi, harshly pressed the accelerator, and the car roared away. Ye Qing quickly pulled Lin Huayu aside, but He Ziqiang didn’t dare to take any more action and turned tail and fled in panic.
