Young Master Fang actually misunderstood Ye Qing. When Ye Qing said to go easy, he meant it for Young Master Fang’s own good. After all, these were just students, and Ye Qing didn’t want them to get severely injured.

Unfortunately, Young Master Fang misunderstood Ye Qing’s intentions. He thought Ye Qing was scared, especially since Ye Qing, despite having fought his men, hadn’t hit very hard. He assumed Ye Qing wasn’t very capable, which is why he seemed so arrogant and presumptuous.

Ye Qing shrugged his shoulders, looked helplessly at everyone, and said, ”So, there’s no negotiation?”

”Who the hell is negotiating with you? In this society, fists do the talking!” A tall man yelled out, lifting his foot toward Ye Qing’s head.

This man was an elite member of the Taekwondo Association and had been diligently practicing taekwondo since middle school. He was quite accomplished in it. Thus, he was the first to strike, hoping to make a good impression on Young Master Fang.

Ye Qing sat still, and as the tall man’s foot almost reached him, Ye Qing suddenly raised his hand and grabbed the man’s ankle. The tall man’s kick never reached Ye Qing.

”Really, no negotiation?” Ye Qing asked, still holding the tall man’s ankle, turning to Young Master Fang on the side.

”I’m negotiating with your uncle!” Young Master Fang yelled, and two more men howled as they kicked at Ye Qing.

Ye Qing acted swiftly, standing up and stepping back. The tall man’s right foot still gripped in his hand involuntarily followed Ye Qing forward. This move allowed Ye Qing to avoid the kicks of the two men, and unfortunately for the tall man, his leg was kicked by them instead.

One kick each, from above, crashing down on the tall man’s knees. With a terrible scream, his leg dislocated, and he fell to the ground screaming and rolling in pain.

The two men were stunned, having not expected to mistakenly hurt the tall man. Both felt quite awkward.

Meanwhile, Young Master Fang’s face turned frosty as he pointed at Ye Qing and roared, ”Get him, kill him!”

A dozen men rushed forward, and Ye Qing did not dare be careless. Today’s situation was completely different from that at the North Huanqian Bay Bar. Back then, all were powerless wealthy young men, but today’s men were all members of the Taekwondo Association, a completely different level of strength.

Although Ye Qing was strong, being outnumbered and taken to the ground by so many would spell disaster.

Ye Qing smartly retreated to a wall, his back against it to prevent being attacked from both sides. The dozen men chased him down, forming a semicircle around him, with five kicking at him and another rolling on the ground, trying to grab Ye Qing’s legs.

Ye Qing kicked the man on the ground in the forehead, sending him rolling back, his head dizzy, unable to steady himself. Facing the five incoming kicks, Ye Qing shifted his body to the left and used his right shoulder to block two of the kicks. At the same time, his fists flew out, striking hard on two other legs and grabbing the third, abruptly pulling that man in front of him.

”Ouch!” The man was unable to retreat fast enough. Pulled in front of Ye Qing, he reacted quickly and threw a punch at Ye Qing.

Ye Qing also punched out, striking right on the man’s fist. With a crack, all five of the man’s fingers were broken by Ye Qing’s punch. Yet, Ye Qing’s punch didn’t lose momentum and struck him squarely in the face, sending him stumbling back several steps, bending over, and crying out in pain on the ground.

Actually, Ye Qing had moderated some of his force. Otherwise, the power of that punch might have killed him. Facing these students, Ye Qing wasn’t too harsh!

In a short while, five men were down. The remaining six or seven, including Young Master Fang, now faced Ye Qing again, visibly intimidated.

In extreme anger, Young Master Fang yelled, pointing at Ye Qing, ”Go, get him!”

The six or seven men looked at each other, none daring to move forward. But they weren’t fools. They turned, smashed the nearby chairs, grabbed the legs and backs, and charged at Ye Qing, hurling them indiscriminately at him.

Ye Qing frowned slightly. Using weapons was a different matter altogether.

Seven men charged together, none daring to go alone. With weapons in hand, they seemed much more confident, rushing in close to Ye Qing.

Ye Qing did not hesitate, stepping forward and sweeping his right leg in a Sweeping Thousands Army motion. The two in front, unable to react, were knocked down by Ye Qing. Seizing the moment, Ye Qing grabbed a chair leg and, with a loud shout, smashed it against the head of a young man coming from behind.

The young man recoiled in shock, hurriedly raising the chair back to block Ye Qing’s chair leg. But his strength was no match for Ye Qing’s. The chair leg, smashed with full force, overpowered him. He felt a tremendous force and his hands weakened, unable to hold any longer. The chair leg heavily struck his shoulder, most likely causing a compound fracture.

The other four also had arrived, brandishing stools, chair backs, and other items in a chaotic fashion as they swung at Ye Qing. Ye Qing blocked two of them with a stool leg and endured two more with his body. Although the stool leg was hard, it didn’t cause much damage when it hit Ye Qing. When Ye Qing was in the military, he endured far greater damage than this.

After fending off these attacks, Ye Qing tossed aside the stool leg, and his fists moved as fast as lightning. Before the four men could strike again, he had already landed a punch on each of them. All four fell to the ground, crying and screaming for their parents.

Young Master Fang’s eyes were almost popping out; he had never imagined that the twelve Taekwondo experts he brought with him would all be knocked down by Ye Qing in less than three minutes. To think that usually, even an internal match within the Taekwondo Association would take half a day for just two people, this was way beyond normal.

Indeed, without having experienced the baptism of blood and fire on the battlefield, how could he understand? A life-and-death struggle is completely different from a normal competition, which might take several rounds and last for dozens of minutes. But in a life-and-death fight, life or death is often decided in an instant.

A soldier who has experienced wartime always makes the best decisions in the shortest time. He would rather take some hits himself, but make sure to deliver a fatal blow first, aiming for his opponent’s life.

That was exactly what Ye had just done; he too took a few hits. If he had chosen to dodge, he wouldn’t have needed to endure those hits. However, he wouldn’t have been able to take down those men as quickly. Although these men were nowhere near his level of skill, who knew if continuing the fight might lead to some other accident? Therefore, a quick decision and quick action were Ye’s usual policies.

”Ye, you’re awesome!” Lin Huayu excitedly ran into the classroom, looking disdainfully at Young Master Fang, and said, ”Young Master Fang, where did you find these dozen pigheads? They were beaten to a pulp in no time. Oh, why did you even bother? Ye already asked you if you could be a bit gentler, but you wouldn’t listen. Now look, you’re hurt!”

Young Master Fang was shaking with rage, his eyes full of astonishment as he looked at Ye Qing. Twelve trained Taekwondo experts taken down by Ye Qing within three minutes were something he could never have imagined.

”You... don’t get too cocky, this isn’t over!” Young Master Fang pointed at Ye Qing, shouting loudly.

Ye Qing took a step forward, causing Young Master Fang to stagger back in fear, then turn and run without looking back.

Ye Qing didn’t chase after him. Instead, he casually picked up a textbook from the ground and handed it to Lin Huayu who stood nearby, ”Let’s go.”

”Okay!” Lin Huayu nodded vigorously, following Ye Qing out of the classroom.

Wang Tiezhu was still standing at the door, holding a broom and staring in shock at everything that had happened inside the classroom. The events had unfolded so suddenly, he hadn’t even had time to react, still wondering whether to go in and help.

”Tiezhu, let’s go!” Ye Qing called out to him.

Only then did Wang Tiezhu snap out of it, hastily dropping the broom in his hand, and ran after Ye Qing.

It was a while before a few people quietly approached the classroom doorway, all students from earlier who wanted to sneak back to watch the excitement. However, when they reached the classroom, they found the fight was already over, and both Ye Qing and Lin Huayu had disappeared.

On the ground, however, the twelve Taekwondo experts Young Master Fang had brought were still groaning and moaning in pain; most of them couldn’t even get up. Especially the tall one, whose leg was broken and definitely couldn’t stand.

The students looked at each other, each face filled with surprise and fear. They had thought they would see Ye Qing getting beaten up, never expecting that the scene they came back to would be completely the opposite. They couldn’t help but be shocked once more; was Ye Qing really so formidable?

Lin Huayu’s car was parked in the school lot. Wang Tiezhu left the teaching building and parted ways with them, hurriedly carrying away his lunch. Ye Qing didn’t ask too much of him, sensing that this young man had a strong sense of pride. Although Ye could help him, how to offer that help without hurting his pride was indeed a challenge.

As a wealthy young lady, Lin Huayu certainly didn’t consider too many issues. She instructed her driver to drive straight to Dahua Shopping Mall.

The driver, a man in his fifties who had been driving for a long time, had very competent driving skills. Ye Qing spent most of the ride observing how he drove—the way he shifted gears, accelerated, and steered, as well as how often he checked the rearview mirror, all of which Ye Qing noted.

He had no chance to learn to drive while in the military, but now he was determined to learn, as it was an essential skill in modern society.

By the end of the ride, Ye Qing had mostly figured out the entire routine of driving. Naturally, other aspects like sense of distance would need to be honed by driving over time, a process of accumulating experience that requires time. For Ye Qing at this moment, he could at least start the car.

As soon as Lin Huayu got out of the car, she hooked her arm around Ye Qing’s and pulled him into Dahua Shopping Mall. Her affectionate demeanor, much like that of a couple deeply in love, made Ye Qing incredibly uncomfortable.

Most importantly, Dahua Shopping Mall was owned by the Lin family. Most of the staff recognized Lin Huayu, the prized daughter. As soon as Lin Huayu entered, a staff member immediately came over to accompany them personally. When they reached the second floor, the manager had already arrived, taking over from the staff member.

”Miss Lin, what would you like to see today?” the manager asked cautiously, meanwhile glancing curiously at Ye Qing. He hadn’t heard about Lin Huayu dating anyone; who was this guy?

”Menswear!” Lin Huayu replied crisply.
