The Ace Bigshot Becomes A Farmgirl

Shu Yu nodded, indeed, the people going out for shipping and transport are all men.

These people, let alone eating delicacies, most of them barely know how to cook. They stay on the boat for one or two months at a time, and apart from occasionally docking for a good meal, they really just make do with whatever they have most days.

Even if there’s a cook and kitchen on board, the meals are quite casual, just something to get by.

Instant noodles are important because anyone can make them, just need a pot of boiling water. If they want to eat better, they can boil an egg or add a sausage.

So Daniu and the others going to the docks to find customers is a very smart choice.

Dazhuang said, ”Actually, there are already some people at the dock who’ve tried instant noodles. After all, they’ve been to many places, and it’s normal to find our products elsewhere. But many still don’t know, so we brought some over, borrowed bowls and hot water from people near the docks, and let everyone try.”

It was evening, with ships docking nearby, many planned to leave the next day.

So it was very lively, with layers of people surrounding the scene. Instant noodles taste great, whether soaked, boiled, or eaten dry, and they quickly received everyone’s praise.

Several cargo stewards showed great interest and left the address of their lodging, saying they would come find them to order once they had discussed it.

Dabao, who was behind them, suddenly slapped his thigh, ”So that hubbub at the docks yesterday was caused by you?”

Shu Yu and Dazhuang turned back at the same time, only to hear Shurui say, ”Didn’t we go to the docks last evening? A big crowd was gathered by the docks, saying they were discussing some trade. We wanted to squeeze in and see, but too many people were there, and it was late. Worried that Ernie would be concerned if we were delayed too long, we didn’t join the commotion.”

Dabao slapped his thigh again, ”It’s all their fault for stopping me. I almost squeezed in. If they hadn’t stopped me, we would’ve met last night.”

Shurui and Erniu’s lips twitched, come on, given his size, he squeezed in only two people after a long time, and then got squeezed back out again.

Most people at the docks are tough ship hands, each tall and strong, and a mere glare is enough to intimidate Dabao.

They don’t want any trouble; this kind of buzz isn’t worth seeing.

As they talked, they had already reached the inn’s entrance.

Daniu happened to be in the hall having breakfast, and Yuan Gui was at the same table.

Seems Daniu told him about forming a fleet, and this time the two came to deliver goods together.

Upon seeing her, they were quite surprised.

”Yu, what are you doing here?”

”I’m preparing to return home, happened to see Dazhuang along the way.”

Daniu chuckled, ”What a coincidence running into each other like this.” He reached to ruffle Erniu’s hair, ”Last time I came over, I didn’t see you guys, feels like you’ve grown taller in these months.”

”Bro, I’ve gained quite a bit of knowledge too.” Erniu said excitedly.

After exchanging pleasantries for a while, Daniu then said, ”The few stewards we met at the docks yesterday said they’d come around 5 a.m to 7 a.m today, which is about now. Yu, since you’re here, would you like to join?”

”Sure.”

Speak of the devil, as soon as Daniu finished speaking, several familiar faces walked in from outside.
