The Ace Bigshot Becomes A Farmgirl

Chapter 1358: Chapter 1358: Ruan Dali Was Amused by Anger

The sunflowers were planted, Shu Yu’s instant noodle workshop was completed, and preparations for ingredients and recruitment began.

This time, everyone knows that Lu’s Workshop provides good benefits and high wages, so more people came than before.

Shu Yu looked at the crowded throng, and her head started to ache.

Her requirements have always been set, and although there are quite a few restrictions, these conditions can screen out a large number of people. However, many people are still determined to try.

Especially this time, Shu Yu saw quite a few people from Ruan Family Village, who believed that since she hired Ruan Dali, she could also hire them.

Moreover, now that Ruan Dali has become the steward, they are even more confident.

And the person responsible for the initial recruitment was Ruan Dali. Years ago, they bullied Ruan Dali’s family, but now they still think they can rely on the village and clan connections to ask him to bend the rules for them.

It wasn’t just Shu Yu; even Ruan Dali was amused when he saw the villagers lined up, smiling as they approached him.

They even wanted Ruan Dali to recruit all of them.

Ruan Dali directly called the staff from the workshop to drive all of them out.

Shu Yu learned about this later and didn’t witness that farce.

However, since Ruan Dali had a plan in mind, she felt reassured.

The instant noodle workshop needed more workers, but not excessively so. This recruitment, including the oil press workshop and the melon seed workshop together, hired around a hundred people.

The oil press and melon seed workshops primarily employed male workers, while the instant noodle workshop mostly employed female workers.

Coincidentally, among those recruited this time was Daqiang’s brother, Dazhuang.

Dazhuang used to find odd jobs in the prefecture. Earlier, Daqiang had contacted him, asking him to return and try Lu Erbai’s construction team. Unfortunately, Dazhuang was busy with work at that time and couldn’t leave, so he didn’t come back.

Now that Lu’s Workshop was hiring again, Daqiang specially arranged for someone to take care of their parents and personally went to the prefecture to bring Dazhuang back for the interview, successfully getting him in.

After recruitment, the instant noodle production began.

Currently, there’s no need to worry about the sales of melon seeds and sunflower oil, so Shu Yu’s focus is on selling instant noodles.

The first thing she thought of was students and escort agencies. Meng Yunzheng was right; instant noodles are a good choice during the academic exams.

Traveling merchants wanting a warm meal on the road are sure to like instant noodles.

Although Shu Yu doesn’t know any merchants, escorts on long journeys are quite similar.

So Shu Yu sought out Meng Pei, who recently returned. He chuckled and cooked instant noodles at the escort agency that day.

The next day, the agency indeed placed a large order.

Shu Yu also sent a batch to the southwest to Huifeng Escort Agency.

Escorts, traveling far and wide, are, in a way, unknowingly helping her with promotion.

As for the students, Shu Yu isn’t very familiar; she only knows Master Wen.

But Master Wen now teaches children who’ve just started learning, who haven’t participated in exams yet.

There used to be Tang Wenqian she knew, but he went to the capital.

Thinking about it, the prefecture exam was about to start, and the students had been preparing early and cautiously, avoiding unfamiliar food before the exam to prevent digestive problems like diarrhea.

Shu Yu decided to temporarily pause the idea of promoting among students.

Amid this busy period, the prefecture exam began.
