Super Rich by Doing as You Please

Faced with Xu Yun’s advances, Ou Jingya stopped thinking and gave in to her desires.

’If this makes me a bad girl, so be it.’

’Just for today, I’ll be the bad girl!’

It started as just a kiss, but a fire had already been lit.

A single spark can start a wildfire, and soon, neither of them could control themselves.

Suddenly, the beam of a powerful flashlight cut through the darkness from afar, interrupting them.

It was a school security guard on patrol.

Startled, the two quickly pulled apart and dove into the nearby bushes. They lay there, not daring to move or even breathe too loudly.

As the guard walked past, Ou Jingya clutched Xu Yun’s hand, her heart pounding with anxiety.

’If we get caught red-handed, I’ll die of embarrassment.’

「A few moments later.」

Ou Jingya whispered, ”Are they gone?”

”I think so.”

Xu Yun looked at Ou Jingya lying beside him and teased, ”I can’t believe we’ve already graduated, and we still have to hide from security guards just to share a kiss.”

”Haha!”

Once Ou Jingya was sure the guard was gone, she let go of Xu Yun’s hand, stood up, and brushed herself off. She smiled and said, ”Well, what do you expect when we’re sneaking around? Our little affair can’t exactly see the light of day.”

”Sigh. Come on, I’ll take you home.”

Ou Jingya smiled. ”No more kissing?”

”The mood’s totally shot. What’s the point of kissing now?”

They emerged from the grove of trees and drove off campus.

Since Xu Yun hadn’t driven, Ou Jingya gave him a ride home.

As he got out of the car, Xu Yun smiled and reminded her, ”When you get home, don’t tell Teacher Wu what happened today. She’ll kill me.”

”Don’t worry. I’m more worried about it than you are.”

Ou Jingya looked at Xu Yun’s feigned look of fear and said, ”I don’t know if my mom would kill you, but if she found out I seduced you, she’d definitely kill me first.”

”You know, you might be right.”

Xu Yun asked tentatively, ”Why don’t you... come upstairs for a bit? Have a glass of water before you go?”

”I’d better not.”

Ou Jingya knew exactly what he was suggesting. She smiled and replied, ”We have a curfew at my house. Barring special circumstances, I have to be home by ten.”

”Sigh. Teacher Wu is as strict as ever.”

Xu Yun sighed. ”Drive safe on your way back. Text me when you get home.”

”Mm.”

That evening, Ou Jingya returned home.

Wu Jinyan saw the undisguised happiness on her daughter’s face. Recalling what a colleague had told her earlier, she called her daughter over.

”Jingya, come here a moment. Mom wants to ask you something.”

”What is it?” Ou Jingya asked, puzzled.

”Were you with Xu Yun after work today?”

”Uh, yes.”

Ou Jingya’s heart skipped a beat. She explained guiltily, ”He had some business at the school today, and we just happened to run into each other. We had a meal together at the cafeteria, and I showed him around campus a bit.”

”They’re saying you two are dating.”

”Those are just rumors. Mom, how can you believe them?”

Ou Jingya said, ”He has a girlfriend. You know that.”

”I know he does. That’s exactly why I need to remind you.”

Wu Jinyan said, ”Xu Yun is a fine young man, and I do like him. But, my dear daughter, you two were fated to meet but not to be together. What’s past is past.”

”Now that he has a girlfriend, you absolutely must not do something that would have people criticizing you.”

”Mom, what are you talking about?”

Ou Jingya feigned a casual tone. ”I’m not a child anymore. I know what I should and shouldn’t do. Don’t worry, and stop letting your imagination run wild. He and I are just ordinary friends.”

”Good. As long as you know.”

Wu Jinyan said, ”I just wanted to talk to you beforehand, to prevent you two from doing anything that crosses the line.”

”Okay, Mom, that’s enough.”

Ou Jingya said, ”I’m tired. I’m going to go take a shower and head to bed. You should get some sleep too.”
