Super Rich by Doing as You Please

”Okay, thank you, President Dong.”

Hearing this, the two women glanced at each other, their eyes filled with excitement. They vowed earnestly, ”We’ll be sure to do our best and not disappoint you, President Dong.”

”Also, there will be two of them. Whichever one of you my client takes a liking to should be more forward. The other one will accompany his friend.”

”Understood.”

As aces of the business department, their daily work consisted of wining and dining bosses and helping the bank court major clients.

So, they knew what their job was before they even came today.

Usually, their supervisor led the team. They hadn’t expected President Dong to lead them personally today, and with such gravity.

It was clear just how important this client was.

A figure like that was undoubtedly a big shot to them!

The more they thought about it, the more nervous they became.

’Serving a lord is like serving a tiger,’ as the saying goes. Who knew what kind of strange habits these big shots had?

Sometimes they got lucky with someone who wasn’t ugly, and they could tolerate being groped during dinner. But if they ended up with some pot-bellied, big-eared, bald pig of a boss, it was enough to make them sick to their stomachs.

But this time, with President Dong’s promise, even if the client was a pig, they would have to bite the bullet and provide excellent service—they’d have to treat him like he was Daniel Wu.

Half an hour later, the two of them drove to their destination.

”The ambiance here looks pretty nice.”

Lin Suiling surveyed the restaurant’s scenery and smiled. ”It has a sort of ’drifting clouds and wild cranes’ vibe.”

”Why else would it be called Crane Garden?”

Xu Yun led her inside, smiling as he said, ”To be honest, I’m a regular here. I’ve come quite a few times. The food’s decent, so you’d better eat up.”

Lin Suiling was speechless.

’Eat, eat, eat. Am I a pig? All you ever do is tell me to eat!’

Just as Xu Yun and Lin Suiling arrived in the main hall, Manager He was coming downstairs. He spotted Xu Yun and immediately trotted over.

He glanced at the beautiful woman beside Xu Yun and asked with a smile, ”President Xu, here to eat again?”

”Duh. What else would I be here for, the scenery?”

”But all the private rooms upstairs are full today.”

Manager He said, a bit awkwardly, ”President Xu, you didn’t call ahead to have me save one for you.”

”No need. Someone’s treating me today.”

”Oh? Who might that be?”

”I think it’s private room number four.”

”President Dong?”

When Manager He heard it was Dong Hongping’s room, he asked in surprise, ”President Dong is treating you today, President Xu?”

”If there’s no one else, then it should be me.”

”Right, I’ll take you there now.”

On the way, Manager He said with a smile, ”President Dong just asked me to wait downstairs for her guest. She said they’d be arriving any minute. I never expected it would be you, President Xu.”

”So, what’s the standard for this meal President Dong is treating me to?”

”Er...”

Manager He didn’t know how to answer for a moment. After hesitating, he said, ”Excluding drinks, the food is our restaurant’s highest standard.”

”Do you still have that 88,888 yuan bottle of red wine?”

”We do.”

”Bring a bottle in later and open it.”

Manager He: ”...”

Listening to their conversation, Lin Suiling tried her best to stifle a laugh.

’Xu Yun is so wicked! Is he trying to eat her out of house and home?’

The trio chatted as they quickly made their way to private room number four on the third floor. Manager He opened the door, and Lin Suiling walked in on Xu Yun’s arm.

”President Dong, your guest has arrived.”

The moment Dong Hongping and her two subordinates saw Xu Yun, they instinctively stood up.

”President Xu, hello.”

Dong Hongping hadn’t expected Xu Yun to be so young and handsome. He looked like he was only in his twenties!

No matter how she looked at him, this guy didn’t seem like a tycoon who could possess ten billion!

It completely subverted her perception, or rather, her stereotype of a successful person.

She smiled, extended her right hand, and said, ”It’s a pleasure to meet you. Thank you for gracing us with your presence at this meal.”

”You’re too kind, President Dong. You’re the one treating me, so I should be thanking you.”

Xu Yun reached out and shook her hand, then deliberately stroked the back of it. He teased, ”President Dong, you take such good care of your skin.”

...

Feeling his light, frivolous touch, she quickly withdrew her hand and laughed awkwardly. ”You’re quite the joker, President Xu. I’m almost forty. I’m old, not at all comparable to the young ladies by your side.”

”Who says? You’re not old at all. In fact, you still have your charm.”

Xu Yun retorted, ”What man wouldn’t be captivated? I, for one, really like older women. They know how to take care of you.”

...

’Oh no. He couldn’t be interested in me, could he?’

”President Xu, you do love to joke.”

Dong Hongping quickly changed the subject. ”May I ask, what should we call the beautiful lady beside you?”

”Don’t mind her. She’s just here to freeload with me.”

Dong Hongping was speechless.

Lin Suiling shot him a glare and introduced herself with a smile. ”Hello, President Dong. My surname is Lin. I’m Lin Suiling.”

She didn’t say anything more.

Dong Hongping smiled. ”A pleasure, Miss Lin.”

Xu Yun sat down and looked at the two female sales reps who had taken the seats beside him. He asked meaningfully, ”President Dong, and who are these two lovely ladies next to me?”

”Allow me to introduce them, President Xu.”

Dong Hongping said, ”They are elite aces from our branch’s business department. The one on the left is Xiaoqi, and the one on the right is Xiaolan. This is a rare opportunity, so I brought them out to broaden their horizons.”

”Broaden their horizons? It looks to me like you came prepared, President Dong.”

Xu Yun laughed bluntly. ”What, are you planning to use a honey trap on me? I have to say, that’s one trick I always fall for.”
