Super Rich by Doing as You Please

Some things were understood with just a glance, but for Xu Yun to state the obvious so bluntly made the situation a little awkward.

The expressions on the two saleswomen turned a little stiff.

Dong Hongping hadn’t expected Xu Yun to be so direct and blatant.

But she was a veteran who had weathered many storms. She quickly composed herself and said with a smile, ”President Xu, you’re certainly a straightforward man. So, are you satisfied with my little honey trap?”

”Oh, I’m satisfied, but...”

With an arm around each woman, Xu Yun looked over at Lin Suiling and shrugged with feigned regret. ”I’m in front of my wife, so I can’t really let loose.”

Dong Hongping was floored.

The saleswomen were dumbfounded.

Watching Xu Yun’s little performance, Lin Suiling didn’t play along. Instead, she smiled and said, ”Don’t listen to his nonsense. We’re just friends. Please, don’t mind me.”

Dong Hongping was speechless.

The saleswomen were at a loss for words.

”Hey, I was just joking around to liven things up.”

Xu Yun looked at one of the beauties beside him, opened his mouth, and said, ”Go on, Xiaoqi. Don’t be nervous. Other than my mom, no woman has ever fed me like this before.”

Xiaoqi was left speechless.

Dong Hongping could only stomach Xu Yun’s antics, forcing a smile as she said, ”President Xu, the real reason I asked you here today was to see if you might be willing to transfer the ten billion in your account from your current branch over to ours.”

A cash deposit of ten billion!

At these words, the two saleswomen and Lin Suiling were all completely stunned.

Lin Suiling most of all.

She stared at Xu Yun in shock.

’My family is considered rich, but compared to Xu Yun, I’m no better than a beggar.’

’The balance in my personal account has never even broken fifty million.’

’And him?’

’He just casually has ten billion!’

’I doubt even the son of the richest man in the country has this much cash on hand!’

’Just what does Xu Yun’s family do?’

’Is he the young master of some unknown, hidden financial group?’

”President Dong, you’re putting me in a difficult position.”

Xu Yun, hearing the question he’d been expecting, replied, ”I’m a sentimental person. Besides, Chairman Jian and Governor Gao have treated me very well.”

”President Xu, anything Chairman Jian and Governor Gao can offer you, I can offer as well.”

Dong Hongping stated bluntly, ”Just say the word, and I’ll give you more than they can. Better terms, and a more... satisfying arrangement.”

”Does that include these two attentive young ladies by my side?”

Dong Hongping hesitated for a moment before replying, ”Of course. As long as you’re interested, President Xu, I’m sure they would be willing.”

”Alright, I’m in.”

Xu Yun agreed without a moment’s hesitation. ”To celebrate,” he said, ”let’s open a bottle of red wine.”

”Of course. No problem at all.”

”How generous of you, President Dong.”

Xu Yun looked at Manager He as he entered and said with a smile, ”Get us a bottle of red wine. You know the kind I like, right?”

”Of course, President Xu.”

Seeing this, Dong Hongping asked in surprise, ”You and Manager He are well acquainted, President Xu?”

”President Xu is one of our regulars.”

Manager He explained, ”He comes in from time to time to give us his business.”

”Oh, that’s wonderful. Hurry up and get the red wine President Xu usually drinks.”

”Right away, President Dong.”

After that, the mood at the table was harmonious, and the conversation flowed happily.

Xu Yun sipped his red wine, enjoying the royal treatment from the two saleswomen.

Meanwhile, Lin Suiling barely spoke a word the entire time, focusing intently on her meal, which made it awkward for Dong Hongping to try and strike up a conversation with her.

Once the meal was over, a seemingly drunk Xu Yun put his arms around the two saleswomen and led the way out with Lin Suiling in tow.

’If I don’t get out of here now, they’ll make me pay the bill.’

Once they were outside the restaurant, Lin Suiling looked at the two women with Xu Yun and said, ”You two can head back. I’ll take care of Xu Yun.”

”But President Dong said...”

”Wait, you’re not actually planning to go back with him, are you?”

Lin Suiling’s expression soured. ”I was just playing along to give him some face. Did you really think I wasn’t his wife?”

!!!

The saleswomen were so frightened by this that they immediately fled.

After the two women left, Lin Suiling looked at Xu Yun, who was now deliberately leaning on her. She laughed, ”Alright, you can stop pretending. They’re gone.”

”I’m not pretending. I’m really drunk. My head’s spinning.”

Xu Yun clung to her drunkenly, burying his head in her chest. ”If you don’t take me home,” he said pitifully, ”I’ll have to sleep on the street.”

Lin Suiling was speechless.

「Back in the restaurant.」

President Dong, who was handling the aftermath, said, ”Manager He, the check, please.”

’She had arranged this meeting with Xu Yun privately, so she’d have to pay for the meal out of her own pocket for now and get reimbursed later from the bank’s expense account.’

’It was a bit expensive, but it was worth it since she had sealed the deal.’

’At first, she thought winning Xu Yun over would be difficult. But it turned out he was just a lecherous, good-for-nothing rich kid who could be won over with just two women.’

”President Dong, the total comes to 113,500 yuan.”

”How much?”

Dong Hongping asked in astonishment, ”You’re saying this meal cost over 110,000 yuan?”

”Yes.”

Manager He knew why she was so shocked. He braced himself and explained, ”The food was only a little over 30,000 yuan, but you also had a bottle of red wine that cost over 80,000.”

”A red wine that costs over eighty thousand!!!”

It dawned on Dong Hongping. She lost her composure and demanded, ”Are you telling me that bottle of wine you brought over cost more than eighty thousand?”

”That’s correct.”

”Why didn’t you tell me it was that expensive?”

Manager He replied with an air of innocence, ”How could I have known? You told me to get the red wine that President Xu usually drinks.

And President Xu usually drinks our red wine that costs over 80,000 yuan a bottle.”

Dong Hongping was speechless.
