Super Rich by Doing as You Please

At the golf club.

Accompanied by a coach, Xu Yun was on the course, practicing his swing while waiting for the bank chairman who was coming to see him.

However, this was only his second time playing, so he looked a bit clumsy.

Fortunately, he had a beautiful female coach by his side. She considerately held his hands, teaching him the correct form and timing for his swing, bit by bit.

As a top-tier member of the club, this was a perk he was entitled to.

After all, the one-million annual membership fee wasn’t for nothing.

With the beautiful coach’s help, their hands together on the club, they took an excellent shot, sending the ball a respectable distance.

”Mr. Xu, you’re so talented!”

The beautiful coach praised him insincerely. ”You’ve only practiced a few times, but you can already hit it so far and so well.”

”It has little to do with me. It’s because you’re such a good teacher, beautiful.”

”Not at all. I’ve taught so many people, and you’re by far the fastest learner.”

The female coach glanced at the Patek Philippe on Xu Yun’s wrist, worth over three million, and said, ”Actually, when it comes to learning golf, besides the basic techniques, I have a few little tips of my own.”

”Is that so? I’d be delighted to hear them.”

Xu Yun said to the coach, ”When can we find some time to... exchange notes privately?”

”I have to work during the day.”

The beautiful coach hesitated. ”I’m only free at night, I don’t know if you, Mr. Xu...”

”Night is good. Let’s do it at night, then.”

Xu Yun smiled. ”Just give me a call whenever you’re free after work.”

”Okay.” The beautiful coach’s heart soared upon hearing this.

’If such a young, handsome, and rich second-generation heir becomes my boyfriend, I’ll be set for life.’

She quickly struck while the iron was hot. ”Mr. Xu, shall we continue?”

”Let’s.”

Just as the two were flirtatiously playing, the club manager walked in, pretending not to notice the scene.

He said respectfully, ”Mr. Xu, someone is here to see you. They said they have an appointment.”

”Alright, I know.”

Xu Yun let go of the coach’s hand and said, ”Let’s call it a day.”

”Of course, Mr. Xu.”

Led by the manager, Xu Yun went to the club’s VIP lounge. Inside were Jian Shiwai, Dong Hongping, and President Dai from Construction Bank.

”President Xu.”

Jian Shiwai stepped forward and made a formal introduction. ”These are two of our branch’s leaders, President Dai and Manager Dong.”

”A pleasure, President Xu.” After Jian Shiwai’s introduction, Dai Xing took the initiative to step forward and extend a polite hand.

Xu Yun shook it and smiled. ”President Dai. Please, everyone, have a seat.”

”Of course, President Xu.”

Dai Xing looked at Xu Yun, so young yet possessing such immense wealth, and couldn’t help but feel a pang of jealousy.

Some things you’re born with, and if you’re not, you’ll never have them.

He didn’t believe for a second that the money in Xu Yun’s account was earned by Xu Yun himself. It definitely came from his family.

Dai Xing said with a smile, ”I’d heard from Chairman Jian that her sub-branch had a young and promising client. I’ve been wanting to meet you for a while, and now that I have, I see it’s all true.”

”President Dai, you’re flattering me.”

Xu Yun said, ”Is there something you came to see me about today?”

”Not really,” Dai Xing said. ”As the head of our Jiangcheng Branch, I first wanted to come and thank you for your trust and support in depositing such a large sum of money with us.

Secondly, on behalf of the Jiangcheng Branch, I wanted to ask if you, President Xu, are satisfied with our bank’s services in your daily fund management and other transactions.

If there are any areas where our service is lacking, I’d trouble you to point them out and offer your valuable suggestions. I’ll have my team work on improvements and rectifications immediately upon my return.”

”Well, I don’t have any suggestions, but I do have some praise.”

Xu Yun said, ”Your bank’s Jian Xing is dedicated and responsible, with strong expertise in personal finance. Every time I come to handle business, she’s the first one to help me get it done. She’s available 24/7, no rest. Her service is impeccable.”

”Jian Xing is indeed an excellent young employee. She’s highly educated and very capable. I’ve heard as much from my staff.”

Dai Xing, of course, understood what Xu Yun meant. He went along with it, saying, ”That’s why I’ve always had a mind to develop her talent.

To be honest with you, President Xu, my original plan was to let her adapt to the work rhythm for a few years in a deputy position. After she had accumulated some experience, I was going to give her greater burdens and responsibilities.

But since you’ve spoken so highly of her today, it’s clear her abilities are already sufficient for a role with greater responsibility.”

Dai Xing paused, then turned to Jian Shiwai in front of Xu Yun and said, ”Jian Xing, since you have the ability, you can’t afford to slack off. You have to work hard and shoulder the burden.

How about this: I’ll give you a heads-up now so you can be mentally prepared. After the New Year, you’ll take over Old Gao’s position.”

”Yes, yes, President Dai.”

Jian Shiwai said happily, ”I’ll definitely work hard and not disappoint you.”

Dong Hongping stood to the side, a forced smile plastered on her face the whole time, but inside, she was grinding her teeth in resentment.

”President Dai, you’re a decisive man.”

Seeing that his goal had been achieved, Xu Yun added, ”Say no more. Your attitude towards promoting talent today has only deepened my trust in your bank.

Don’t worry, I’ll give you my guarantee right here. If any other bank managers come looking for me, asking me to move my money, I’ll cuss them right out the door.”

”Hahaha, thank you for your support, President Xu. We will definitely provide you with even better service in the future.”

Dai Xing laughed. ”President Xu, since I came to visit you so suddenly today, I didn’t have time to prepare a proper gift. I just brought a set of the twelve zodiac coins our bank had custom-made for internal use.”
