Super Rich by Doing as You Please

Xu Yun froze. He hadn’t expected the woman who walked in to be none other than an old acquaintance.

Huang Mengyao’s former toxic best friend, Wang Qing.

She was the one who, seeking revenge for a humiliation at school, had deliberately guided Huang Mengyao step by step, leading her to self-sabotage and fall into an abyss, ultimately meeting a miserable end.

He never thought they would meet again under circumstances like these.

But Xu Yun’s mindset had changed since then; he was much more at peace.

It wasn’t that he harbored any deep-seated hatred for her.

When Wang Qing entered and saw Xu Yun, she froze as well.

She never in a million years imagined that her interviewer would be Xu Yun.

After getting her revenge on Huang Mengyao and completely cutting ties, she had tried to start her own life.

But months had passed, and she still hadn’t found a wealthy heir who liked her and whom she liked in return.

Still, life had to go on. She had been trying hard to find a job, but good positions weren’t easy to come by, and she hadn’t had any luck.

Yesterday, a good friend from a group chat told her that a company was recruiting flight attendants for a private jet and suggested she give it a try.

So, she came.

The pay was good, the work wasn’t demanding, and there was a high chance of catching the eye of the tycoon who owned the jet.

Relying on her good looks and refined demeanor, she successfully passed the agency’s first round of screening and made it to today’s second-round interview.

But as fate would have it, things took an unexpected turn.

She ran into Xu Yun—someone she had bad blood with—presiding over the interview.

Wang Qing looked at the knowing smile on Xu Yun’s face and asked with a self-deprecating laugh, ”It doesn’t matter how well I do, you’re not going to hire me, are you?”

Her words made Jian Shiwai sense that something was amiss.

Jian Shiwai glanced at Xu Yun beside her, then at Wang Qing, and tactfully remained silent.

Xu Yun didn’t answer her question. Instead, he smiled and countered, ”Been a while. Still haven’t found your rich husband?”

”If I had, I wouldn’t be here applying for a job with you.”

Wang Qing said, ”I’m sorry for wasting your time.”

With that, she turned to leave.

”Since you’re already here, why not try to fight for it?”

Xu Yun smiled. ”What if I’m in a good mood and change my mind?”

”You’d be that kind?”

”People change, you know.”

Xu Yun explained, ”I might have hated you back then, but thinking about it now, you were just a catalyst. You just accelerated her corruption. Even without you, she probably would have been led astray by someone else eventually.”

Wang Qing said nothing.

”Of course,”

Xu Yun’s tone suddenly shifted. ”My giving you a chance comes with a condition.”

”What condition?”

”Are you still a virgin?”

Xu Yun asked the question matter-of-factly.

The abrupt question stunned both the agency representative and Jian Shiwai.

He hadn’t asked any of the previous applicants this question.

Jian Shiwai, in particular, felt her eyelid twitch.

’Does President Xu have some kind of... fixation?’

At that thought, Jian Shiwai felt a secret sense of relief. ’Thank goodness I’m still a virgin.’

Wang Qing hadn’t expected him to ask such a question, but she answered without hesitation, ”Yes. To this day, I have never slept with any man!”

”Alright, I understand.”

Xu Yun then asked, ”I remember you said you studied dance, right?”

”That’s right.”

”Then dance for me right now. Your best dance. If you can satisfy me, captivate me, then I’ll hire you. How about it?”

’Since I can’t find a flight attendant I’m satisfied with for now, I might as well hire one I dislike. Let her watch my wonderful life every day and suffer internally.’

’You wanted to find a rich man, didn’t you?’

’Well, I’m a rich man. You can’t stand me, but to survive, you’ll have no choice but to serve me!’

To be honest, this was just a malicious whim on Xu Yun’s part.

”Okay.”

Wang Qing hesitated for a moment. Thinking about her rent, which was due soon, she decided that no matter how displeased she was, she couldn’t afford to turn down the money.

In her mind, Xu Yun was just the person in charge of recruitment.

’As long as I can just endure this and get past him, I’ll be hired. Then I’ll be serving the tycoon on his private jet and won’t have anything to do with Xu Yun.’

That was right. From the moment she walked in, she never once thought that Xu Yun himself was the owner of the private jet.

In her eyes, Xu Yun was, at best, a subordinate of the owner, tasked with helping out with the hiring process.

So, Wang Qing played a traditional-style Chinese song on her phone and began to dance in front of Xu Yun.

Back in school, Wang Qing had studied traditional Chinese dance.

Therefore, the dance she performed was also in a traditional Chinese style.

With her solid foundation in dance, her supple figure and ethereal, graceful movements were a dazzling sight.

Even Jian Shiwai had to admit that the woman was a truly skilled dancer.

’The famous songstresses of ancient times must have been just like this,’ she thought.

When the music ended, Wang Qing stood straight and asked Xu Yun, ”Are you satisfied?”

”How many men have you danced for?”

Wang Qing replied, ”Since graduation, you’re the first.”

”Why didn’t you dance for anyone before?”

”I never met anyone suitable, no one worthy of seeing me dance.”

”Congratulations. You’ve passed.”

After speaking, Xu Yun turned to the agency representative. ”Find a good, professional flight attendant training program for her. Send her for a few days of expedited training to familiarize her with the daily work duties. For the fees, talk to Manager Jian.”
