The Valued Lady is Truly Dominant

Chapter 909: Chapter 909: My Grandson Escaped on His Own Merits

Crack.

A spinning kick swept across, and Song Zhicheng suddenly felt a numb sensation in his hand, followed by a lightness.

The plank was kicked broken.

Song Zhicheng: ”...”

Everyone: ”...”

Their eyes fell on the dark-skinned girl in front of Madam Song, swallowing hard.

This girl’s legs have such strength.

Nan Shan blocked in front of Song Ci, watching Song Zhicheng warily.

Song Zhicheng felt a bit internally injured; no way, with that look in your eyes, do you think that as a son, I would lay a hand on my own mother?

Song Ci was still fine, slightly shifting her body, looking at Song Lingjie’s back and buttocks, her eyes turned red as she looked at Song Zhicheng: ”You scoundrel, was Jie’er picked up from a ditch by you? How big of an issue is it to hit so harshly?”

”No, Mother, don’t you know what he’s done? He conspired with Zhao’er and secretly helped Zhao’er escape to join the army.” Song Zhicheng stomped his foot and said, ”I asked him in which direction the barracks were, and he stayed mute as if he had lost his voice, not saying a word; how could I not be angry?”

Madam Jiang also wiped her tears and said, ”Mother, it’s been days, if we don’t get him back soon, Zhao’er truly won’t come back.”

She truly felt a mix of frustration and heartache.

Thinking back now, no wonder that day Song Lingzhao’s behavior was so abnormal, coming early in the morning to pay respects and fool around, even kneeling and knocking his head—turns out it was premeditated, it was because he intended not to be filial that he knelt and knocked once.

Recalling that scene, Madam Jiang’s tears flowed more freely, hating and worrying at the same time, not knowing where that rebellious boy had gotten to now, whether he was warm and fed, or if he had encountered any danger.

That boy had never left their side since birth, why all of a sudden could fly away, and flew away so far before they realized it.

Seeing Madam Jiang’s pitiful crying, Song Zhicheng grew more urgently angry, saying, ”Mother, move aside, if he doesn’t speak, I’ll beat him until he does. Damned brat, if you don’t discipline them every three days, they’ll overturn the roof; I see he wants to ascend to the heavens.”

Song Ci, startled by the shout, snapped out of her shock and wouldn’t have it when she heard this.

”How old is the child, hit like this, how will his body grow well? I forbid you to hit him. If you want to hit him, go ahead and kill me first.”

Nanny: Here it comes, the willful and overbearing family’s true vibe comes out.

Song Zhicheng was speechless, saying, ”No, Mother, let’s be reasonable, this is not the time to shield him, nor should he be shielded, because he did wrong. Wrongdoing has to be admitted, and if punished, one should stand firm.”

”What wrong? My grandson escaped on his own merits; the two of them schemed this with their skills. You adults failed to notice, and didn’t realize the wrong for days, that’s your dereliction as parents, how is it my grandson’s fault?” Song Ci retorted: ”You should reflect, how did the children plan such under your noses, while you took days to notice?”

Song Zhicheng and Madam Jiang’s faces flushed with some heat.

Regarding sons, although they loved them, but sons are sons, nowhere precious and coddled like daughters; they were raised rough.

Moreover, the two children have always been very worry-free, almost reaching the age of engagement, who worries day in and day out?

Reality gave them a slap, with a resounding sting, it was their own carelessness.

”Come, carry the third young master into the house, and invite the manor doctor to apply medicine. My dear grandson, having such a father truly is unlucky.” Song Ci looked at Song Lingjie’s reddened pants, filled with alarm, how harshly he was beaten.

Song Lingjie was already dazed from the beating, grinning weakly at Song Ci before his head drooped, and he fainted.
