The Valued Lady is Truly Dominant

Chapter 855: Chapter 855: Provocation

Outside, thunder and lightning clashed, while inside cries of pain echoed continuously. Each time there was a flash of white light, Song Ci’s heart would skip a beat, watching Madam Song who was half-kneeling on the bed, nearly exhausted to the point of being held up by servants. Her feet were trembling.

”Madam, why don’t you wait outside?” Nanny Gong, seeing her pale and green face, couldn’t help but suggest.

Song Ci shook her head, licked her cracked lips, and said, ”I said I would stay here, it’s fine.”

As they spoke, another startled exclamation arose from the birthing bed, along with basins of blood being carried out and the chaos among everyone present.

”What’s going on, what’s going on?” Song Ci hurriedly grabbed Nanny Gong’s hand and walked over, seeing Madam Song with her head drooping, unconscious, and couldn’t help but feel a pang in her heart.

Lin Qing stepped forward, felt her pulse, and said, ”Exhaustion led to fainting.”

Song Ci’s heart sank: ”Quickly, wake her up, and bring over some ginseng soup.”

Lin Qing took a golden needle and pierced the major acupoint of Madam Song, whose eyelids fluttered, half-opened her eyes, but didn’t even have the strength to speak.

She tried her best to open her eyes, catching sight of Song Ci, her lips moved, and tears welled up at the corners of her eyes.

She couldn’t go on, truly couldn’t give birth.

Seeing this, Song Ci grew anxious and quickly shouted, ”Madam Gu, push harder, the child is waiting to cry out! If you give up, what will happen to him? He’s already been waiting for too long.”

Madam Song shook her head, she couldn’t do it.

”Push harder, we are all here to help you. I’m telling you, if you give up, there will be no one to help you. Think about it, how hard have you worked to keep this child till now? How much have you suffered? Are you willing to let him disappear just like that? You must give birth to him, only then will it count, won’t it?”

Madam Song cried a river.

Song Ci took the ginseng soup handed by Mama Fang and said, ”Listen to me, push harder, because if you don’t, and if he can’t make it, he will have to be taken out forcibly. Otherwise, are you planning to leave with him? I won’t allow it! If you go, there will be nothing left, I’m telling you. I won’t let Mr. Song keep mourning you indefinitely, once the mourning period is over, I’ll find him a new wife.”

Everyone: ”...”

The provocation was quite harsh.

In Madam Song’s eyes, a trace of unwillingness sprang forth.

There was a chance.

Song Ci immediately poured the ginseng soup into the corner of Madam Song’s mouth and let the servants support her, saying, ”Follow our directions to exert force, Liu Midwife, one of you help push the baby, the other focus on the birth canal.”

The two midwives were already panicking but seeing Song Ci remain so calm, they steadied themselves and revitalized.

”Madam, listen to my instructions, I’m going to exert force, pardon me,” Chen Midwife apologized and exchanged a glance with Liu Midwife, the two nodded.

Chen Midwife began using skilled force, but Song Ci could see the veins bulging on her neck, clearly indicating her strength was immense. As she exerted herself, she encouraged Madam Song to push.

The three worked in unison.

Liu Midwife exclaimed with joy, ”One foot is out.”

She pushed the tiny foot back into the birth canal, waiting, while Chen Midwife massaged and applied pressure on Madam Song’s abdomen.

Song Ci was extremely tense, holding her breath and clenching her fists.

Soon, Liu Midwife saw two tiny feet, and she rejoiced in her heart, ”It’s coming out.”

However, Song Ci gave Lin Qing a glance, who nodded and walked over, effectively blocking Madam Song’s view.

In fact, Madam Song was already so exhausted she had no strength to open her eyes, her mind muddled, her whole being felt like floating on water, but she kept telling herself not to faint, not yet, she was not willing.

Push, oh, push harder.

Madam Song pushed with all her strength, and felt something being pulled out of her body, her whole being relaxed, becoming limp as water.

Is it over?
