The Valued Lady is Truly Dominant

Chapter 647: Chapter 647: Song Ci, This Ruthless Person!

When it came to whether or not to keep the child in Su Qing’s belly, Song Ci absolutely stood on the same front as Madam of the Song Family, united against outsiders.

It cannot be kept!

If Song Ruqi’s child were safely born, then keeping this one would just be a matter of providing food, and the Duke Mansion could afford it. But with the legitimate child gone, and it caused by the concubine’s biological mother, do you expect the legitimate mother to endure it?

Forget it, how could one endure this!

The so-called enmity of a murdered child is irreconcilable, who can tolerate who is a saint!

Song Ci didn’t have the heart of a saint; she was the Grand Madam of the Song Family, loyal only to her own. Others, they have nothing to do with her.

Keeping this child would daily prick at Song Ruqi’s heart, wouldn’t this drive her to illness?

Song Ci held a principle: let others perish rather than her. Moreover, the other party was not innocent.

With just a word, she smeared a layer of filth over the child in Su Qing’s belly, making Su Qing unable to lie still, as she slowly opened her eyes and looked at Qi Zhen, tears streaming before she spoke.

Qi Zhen’s eyes were complicated. He sighed deeply, unable to describe what he was feeling.

Su Qing remained silent, only shedding tears, which secretly made Song Ci think her clever. At this moment, saying anything would seem pale; better to show weakness, with the amulet in her belly, perhaps she could pull through.

So easy?

She indeed had beautiful thoughts!

”Conspiring to harm the legitimate son of the Lady, Madam Duke, do you still need to consider?” Song Ci looked faintly at the Madam Duke.

Make a quick decision, everyone can go home, wash up and sleep.

The Madam Duke was angry, and said, ”This, Grand Madam, she also has...”

”Son-in-law, you also want to acknowledge the piece of flesh in her belly?” Song Ci looked at Qi Zhen and said, ”Even if this cheap maid secretly consorted with that servant, you don’t mind?”

Su Qing shook her head frantically at this moment, tearfully looking at Qi Zhen, ”I didn’t, Master, you know I have always been devoted to you, how could I have an affair with others.”

”Were you aware you were with child?” Qi Zhen asked.

Su Qing was stunned, instinctively stroked her belly, hesitated for a moment before nodding, ”My menstruation hasn’t come for two months, I suspected it, but couldn’t believe it. After all, my body... the doctor said it was hard for me to conceive, yet I didn’t expect... Third Master, is it true?”

Qi Zhen nodded, ”You suspected, so you harmed the third madam.”

”I am innocent.” Su Qing shook her head with tears, after a long while, she said with a face full of sorrow, ”I know saying anything is useless, I only beg you to let me give birth to this child. Afterward, you may chop or kill, I will have no objections. I just wish to be a mother once.”

”Pah! Cheap maid, not worthy!” Madam spat at her.

Su Qing ignored the Madam, only got down from the bed, kneeled on the ground, and looked at Qi Zhen pleadingly, ”Third Master, I only beg you this once.”

Qi Zhen opened his mouth, his gaze softening slightly.

Song Ci secretly thought this was bad, and whispered an instruction to Nanny of the Palace, who then withdrew.

The Madam Duke’s heart skipped a beat, increasingly feeling a headache, wondering what trick this Grand Madam was up to?

Seeing the soft murmuring opposite, a chill ran through her heart, feeling uneasy.

Sure enough, Nanny quickly returned, followed by a matron holding a sandalwood box, bound with a white cloth.

The Madam Duke’s heart was beating rapidly. Song Family’s Grand Madam, such a ruthless person, how could she have conceived of this!

”Son-in-law, your child with Qi’er left so pitifully wronged. Even if born a stillbirth, it took form. It is still your child, as the father, you should take a look; after all, it was your first legitimate son.”

Qi Zhen’s body stiffened, looked at the box with a pale face.
