The Valued Lady is Truly Dominant

Chapter 630: Chapter 630: Fetal Drop

Duke Ying Mansion, Ming Garden.

Song Ruqi lay on the bed with a ghastly white face, staring at the canopy, her hands covering her abdomen, silent.

”Third Madame, please have some herbal soup first.” Song Ruqi’s loyal nurse, Xin Mama, stood by the bed with a bowl of soup, her eyes red as she persuaded her.

But Song Ruqi closed her eyes and said hoarsely, ”You’re not real, go away, once I wake up everything will be fine.”

Xin Mama raised her hand to wipe the corners of her eyes, and the main maid in the room had red eyes as well. Since the young lady married into the family, it was as if she lived in a honey pot. Her maiden family was strong, and she was capable herself, conceiving within three months of marriage.

But such happiness, even Heaven couldn’t bear to watch, so easily took it all away.

The child in Third Madame’s womb was lost, and it was an already formed male infant, which made it all the more despairing.

Song Ruqi turned her back to them, not intending to speak to anyone.

They exchanged worried glances.

Smelling the faint scent of blood still lingering in the air, Shuhua gritted her teeth and stepped forward, saying, ”Miss, the little young master is gone. He died unjustly. As his mother, will you let his spirit leave with grievance?”

Song Ruqi suddenly sat up from the bed and screamed, ”Shut up, he’s not gone, he’s still fine inside me.”

Shuhua knelt down: ”Miss, it’s already happened. Escaping won’t change the fact. Please, give justice to the little young master.”

Song Ruqi’s eyes were bloodshot, glaring at her as if poisoned, her nails tearing strands out of the quilt.

Everyone else knelt down as well.

”Miss, nothing is more important than your health. The young master is waiting for you to find his enemy. You can’t let him be lonely after death.”

What slippery steps in the snowy pavilion, in the dignified Duke Mansion, where aren’t the master’s paths carefully cleaned?

That pavilion, where the young lady usually walked for a rest, she walked there every day. She went up the steps steadily today as well but suddenly fell down, there was blood, and the child was lost.

The young lady’s body had always been fine, how could the child be lost so easily from a fall?

The monsters and demons in Duke Ying Mansion were no secret. They guarded day and night, yet somehow, someone exploited a loophole.

In short, the young lady’s incident was definitely not accidental.

Song Ruqi’s lips trembled, her mind in chaos, as if listening to a surreal tale.

From falling to losing the child, she had fainted twice and still couldn’t accept the reality.

”The master has returned.”

Song Ruqi stared blankly at the tall figure striding towards her, tears welling up in her eyes, with a sliver of hope.

She only wanted him to tell her that it was all fake, that she was dreaming.

Qi Zhen approached with a cold face, his lips pressed tightly, seeing his wife’s ghostly pale, bloodless face, the faint scent of blood in the air, and he was filled with grief.

His birthdate was somewhat hard, previous betrothals had ended without success, and it wasn’t easy to receive the Emperor’s decree to marry the Prime Minister’s noble daughter as his lawful wife. Within three months of marriage, there was joyful news that he was about to become a father.

But now, the child was gone, and what’s more, it was a boy, the legitimate son!

Qi Zhen forced himself to endure the grief, closed his eyes briefly, then opened them again, saying, ”I personally checked the pavilion, there were no traces of ice or tampering, it might have been an accident...”

Song Ruqi’s heart ached sharply, her eyes rolled back, and she fainted again.
