The Valued Lady is Truly Dominant

Chapter 646: Chapter 646: This Mouth is Too Venomous!

Song Ci felt that once a scandalous affair was revealed, there was no turning back, just like now.

She reached out toward Nanny: ”Help me sit down. I want to see how they continue this performance!”

Nanny: ”...”

Madam Song turned from astonishment to a cold sneer, looking at the Duchess: ”Congratulations, madam. Losing one legitimate grandson, and now here comes an illegitimate one.”

The Duchess’s face was as dark as it could get. She glared fiercely at Qi Zhen. It’s all your fault; my reputation is about to be torn to shreds by them.

Indeed, Su Qing fainted and was diagnosed to be pregnant for two months with a slippery pulse, as diagnosed by Lin Qing.

This meant that when Song Ruqi was nurturing her fetus, Qi Zhen couldn’t control himself and slept with Su Qing, resulting in her pregnancy.

If the child in Song Ruqi’s womb was fine, it wouldn’t matter that Su Qing was pregnant. But unfortunately, the Lady’s fetus was gone, and Su Qing was diagnosed to be two months pregnant.

If Su Qing claimed not to know her own physical condition, everyone present, except maybe Qi Zhen, would not believe it.

Now that Su Qing knew she was pregnant, she had a motive to harm the Lady. With the Lady’s child gone, her child would become the eldest son or daughter. Even though they are illegitimate, being the firstborn is much better than being the second, third, or fourth.

The Duchess looked at Xin Nanny and other stewards beside Song Ruqi with a sullen face and asked, ”With concubines serving the master, didn’t you, as steward nannies, prepare any contraception?”

In noble families, when the legitimate children are not born yet, all concubines must take medicine.

Xin Nanny felt wronged and said, ”We had no idea Miss Su Qing was attending to him...”

Everyone’s eyes fell on Qi Zhen. What, it’s not yours?

Qi Zhen’s face turned pale as he explained, ”Two months ago, it was the anniversary of the wet nurse’s death. I and her went to pay our respects at the grave.”

Saying this, his face also began to flush.

The Duchess almost wanted to strangle this fool. On the death anniversary, you paid your respects and still slept with your wet nurse sister? Why choose that day at all? If you slept, then just slept. Why clarify the specific day?

Are you stupid or what!

She glanced at Madam Song, and indeed, seeing her face full of anger, she couldn’t help but rub her forehead.

Her head hurt, and she didn’t want to deal with it anymore!

”Truly a shameless wench, not forgetting to seduce the master even on her mother’s death anniversary. It’s fortunate that the wet nurse has been gone for many years. Otherwise, if she were still in the mourning period, wouldn’t it become a filial piety period affair?” Madam Song coldly glared at Su Qing, whose eyes were still tightly closed.

Such a poisonous mouth!

The Duchess felt as if the other was cursing at her indirectly.

Song Ci, however, glanced at Su Qing lying on the bed, saw her eyelids moving, and sneered, ”Now that things have come to this, what do you think should be done, Duchess?”

Madam Song interjected: ”What else? It’s obvious this wench conspired with that unworthy slave to harm the Lady’s legitimate son for the sake of the flesh in her belly. Such a wench should naturally be beaten to death; why keep her around for ancestral worship?”

This wench harmed Qi’er and still dreams of safely giving birth to an illegitimate son. Dream on!

The Duchess was somewhat displeased. Though she didn’t favor illegitimate children, it was still Qi Zhen’s flesh and blood. He was in his late twenties and didn’t have any offspring yet.

”You sit aside. You said the dear son-in-law investigated their secret affair, but it’s still uncertain if the child is his.” Song Ci glanced at her eldest daughter-in-law indifferently. ”How to deal with it is for the Duchess and the dear son-in-law to decide.”

The Duchess and Qi Zhen: ”...”

This truly is a sharp tongue!
