Apocalypse: Master of Soul Beasts

When Cyclops and his group entered the Dimensional Maze, information naturally transmitted through the Soul Connection to Wen Yu’s ears.

”They’ve gone in, Walter is also inside the Dimensional Maze.”

After informing Fran, Fran immediately stopped the military maneuvers he was handling and began the next phase of this operation.

Picking up the communicator at hand, Fran quickly dialed a number on the device. After a moment, the call was connected, and Fran issued commands swiftly without saying much.

”Notify the missile troops to conduct a saturation bombardment on the target location.”

...

The so-called saturation... it truly is quite saturated...

The first time Wen Yu went to the Yanjing Assembly Site, Kuangliu had said something that Wen Yu highly agreed with: ”The only thing that can destroy humanity is humanity itself.”

As one of the world’s strong nations before the apocalypse, Cathay’s economy ranked second globally, and its military strength ranked third. Coupled with being located in the world’s most powerful South Asia’s Monster Powerhouses, surrounded by vassals of a certain superpower, and these guys’ military strength being among the global leaders (South Korea’s, Japan’s, and India’s military forces all ranked in the top ten in the world, Russia’s military strength ranked second), it’s said that weakness warrants suppression, the competition between nations is often more direct and brutal than competition between individuals.

In such harsh external conditions, Cathay’s rise can be said to be somewhat accidental and miraculous; however, the rise is still a rise, and the fact has been decided that after the giant dragon soared, the challenges it faced became even more severe externally.

If one has no long-term concerns, one surely has immediate worries. In fact, before the apocalypse, Cathay was preparing for possible wars to say how many conventional weapons (excluding nuclear weapons) Cathay had...

It’s still Kuangliu’s words: ”Able to guarantee to plow through all of Cathay without any blind spots three to five times.”

In other words, if there weren’t the Demon Tribe, those so-called zombies and mutant beasts (low-level ones) would be a joke in front of a structured modern army!

And this destructive force, the activation only requires a flick of a finger...

With Fran’s order, the missile troops far away in the Yanjing Assembly Site once again revealed their fangs to the world.

...

Intercontinental missiles include nuclear bombs and conventional tactical missiles; overall, it seemed a nation-annihilating level of intercontinental strike.

This scene, Wen Yu had seen it once in Africa, and for Wen Yu, these things naturally didn’t matter much — at most, the sound was louder, judging by the killing effect, they were indeed less efficient and swift than the superb experts, but for normal Level 6 life forms...

These big and small firecrackers were truly extraordinary.

Starting from Yanjing, the missiles underwent a lengthy half-hour flight, precisely landing near Mount Kosciuszko. Of course, during this time, the main battlefield’s conventional forces were not without gain; at least they had stabilized the situation, built a defense line, and formed small or large groups, preparing to welcome the upcoming artillery attack.

Modeled after the 2nd Artillery Unit, the Yanjing missile troops guaranteed the accuracy of the attack, all life forms on the battlefield could see cylindrical objects resembling meteors descending from the sky, precisely landing at the core of both party’s contention — Mount Kosciuszko!

One gorgeous firework after another soared up, mushroom clouds proclaiming the splendor of technological power before the apocalypse, until the earth trembled, the air scorched, the smoke filled the air, dust covered the sky...

Wen Yu and Fran, being underground, naturally couldn’t see the destructive scene, but the intense oscillation constantly occurring around them made Fran perturbed.

War weapons developed by humans ultimately fell on the very land where humans live.

However, the Madonna mindset did not last long. When Fran connected to the front lines, his face immediately turned serious.

”Wen Yu, Mount Kosciuszko...”

”Has transformed!”

...

The scene of distant fire meteors crashing to the ground couldn’t escape Victor’s notice on the main battlefield, watching Mount Kosciuszko bear the seemingly apocalyptic assault, Victor stuffed two crumpled papers into his ears. His gem-like eyes stared unblinkingly at Mount Kosciuszko, until strange sounds beyond count erupted from the mountain.

Those were the wails of Soul Puppets before their death.

However, the mode of war had changed; the so-called strongest human weapons had grown increasingly non-threatening in the eyes of high-level life forms — before, Wen Yu might have scrupled about nuclear bombardment, but at this level, nuclear bombs could be resisted with various means.

Did we not see Wen Yu’s space ring still holding several nuclear warheads obtained from Germany? Those items had long been forgotten by Wen Yu...

The furious tactical assault lasted nearly ten minutes; had it been before, the entire Mount Kosciuszko would likely have been obliterated from world maps by the missiles, yet, the mysterious aspect of Soul Abiogenetic Creation, others might be unaware, but Victor surely knew.

Thus, when he saw the shadow of the mountain rising higher from the dust, the earth shaking more violently, until the mountain decomposed and four colossal titan giants emerged from the ground, Victor merely muttered, ”As expected.”

The Demon Tribe activating Mount Kosciuszko was indeed to guard against Earth’s life army, nonetheless, this didn’t mean the Demon Tribe didn’t pull out individually strong Soul Puppets from Mount Kosciuszko. When Creation Energy is usable without restraint and materials are unlimited, what kind of monstrosity the Soul Abiogenetic Creation skill can craft is not strange at all.

Just like these four towering Earth Puppets before the eyes — catalyzed by massive Creation Energy, activating the mountain body, bits and pieces on the mountain may appear weak, yet what happens to the main body of the mountain...

Just think of the Mountain Kui, and you know.

The four towering Soul Puppets’ bodies are damaged — they can’t remain intact under nuclear bombardment, yet their main portions are not missing. When the aftermath of fire meteors completely dissipates, surrounding dust and soil flood into the giant bodies, replenishing the lost parts within a short time.

Although they possess no skills, in terms of immortality, these Soul Creations outshine flesh and blood life forms.

At this moment, the healing four giants formed a ring-like structure, shoulder to shoulder, protecting a gray light pillar behind them.

”Boss, the mountain’s gone, turned into four big fellas, the Dimensional Maze has appeared.”

The gray light pillar is undeniably the Dimensional Maze, and after a while, Wen Yu’s response resounded in Victor’s mind.

”Handle one of them, later I’ll have Faceless handle another, the rest will be left to the military.”
