Reincarnation Paradise Park

Chapter 673: Chapter 67: The Helpless Clown

The fact that the Clown relies on the ’Inferno Hell World’ for attacks is good news, which means the opponent has already run out of tricks.

Su Xiao accelerated his attack frequency, occasionally throwing an alchemy bomb, causing rumbling sounds on the rooftop, leaving holes where they exploded.

Three minutes later, the smile on the Clown’s face disappeared, a doubt in his heart arose: didn’t Su Xiao need mana value to replenish energy bullets? How could it be as if mana was free?

Soon, the Clown cast aside this absurd idea; such things do not happen in Reincarnation Paradise. Although many abilities in Reincarnation Paradise are supernatural, it does not mean these abilities have no rules or limits. Infinite ammunition guns, at least the Clown had never seen one. The so-called ’infinite ammunition’ either consumed the equipment’s energy itself or mana value.

”Mana value surpassing mine, what kind of close combat is this?”

A once confident Clown now looked at Su Xiao with a somewhat helpless gaze.

”Power and agility attributes are similar to mine, stamina attributes surpass mine. Could he also develop his intelligence attribute at the same time? Developing all four attributes? This...”

A Clown who developed three attributes at once sighed. His main attributes were power, agility, and intelligence, with lower stamina, which could be seen from the previous fight with Su Xiao; his endurance was inferior to Su Xiao’s.

Su Xiao ignored the muttering Clown and fired at him with the Black and White Guns. When the Black and White Guns needed reloading, he would take out the Spider Queen and fire a few shots at the Clown.

Five minutes later, Su Xiao was still shooting at the Clown with the Black and White Guns.

With a bang, several blood holes suddenly appeared in the Clown’s chest and abdomen. He glanced at the bullet holes and just smiled.

Kaka...

The Black and White Guns ran out of bullets; shooting took five seconds, and it would take five more seconds to reload them.

”Wait.”

The Clown raised his solitary arm, and Su Xiao aimed the Spider Queen at him and fired a shot.

Bam!

Bones and flesh flew apart as half of the Clown’s body was shattered.

Amazingly, the Clown did not die from such a lethal injury. After all, his heart had already been blasted apart.

Drip, drip...

Blood seeped from several wounds on Su Xiao’s body. He was on the verge of collapse. Earlier, he had been stabbed by the Leader, hit by one of Ilmi’s hand chops, and shot by Vini. If not for using three bottles of No.1 Potion to suppress the injuries, he would have been unable to stand by now.

”Let’s talk...”

Su Xiao didn’t pay any attention to the Clown’s words, pointing the muzzle of the Spider Queen at the Clown’s head.

The Clown was highly intelligent and extremely persuasive in his speech, otherwise, he wouldn’t have managed to hoodwink a group of believers into working for him and even tricked the Nilapan Tribe over from the Dark Continent.

This was one of the Clown’s skills: Language Master (Passive LV.25).

Unfortunately, Su Xiao did not bother to communicate with the Clown. From his perspective, except for extracting information from enemies, talking to them was a foolish act.

Pulling the trigger, the bullet ejected from the chamber.

With a bang, half of the Clown’s head was blown apart, yet astonishingly, the Clown was still not dead! The survivability of the Demon Bloodline was evident.

Kaka.

The Spider Queen ran out of bullets, so Su Xiao put it away and walked briskly towards the Clown.

”Want to know the secret of the Violator? You won, I can...”

Su Xiao walked up to the Clown and drew the Dragon Slash from his waist.

The long knife slashed down, quick and decisive, sending the already half-shattered head flying.

”Not interested.”

Su Xiao flicked the blood off Dragon Slash, the Clown’s blood forming a semicircle on the ground.

”Ah, just 50 seconds short.”

In mid-air, the remaining half of the head actually spoke. It was an utterly unscientific phenomenon. The Clown’s tone held some regret but no fear. The pupil in the solitary eye gradually dissipated.

Beep beep beep...

An old-fashioned phone in the Clown’s bosom rang, time stopping at 49 seconds. With a click, the forcefully-returned item shattered.

[Prompt: The Hunter successfully cleared Violator No.10000, the hunting mission is completed (5/5).]

[Hunting Mission: Clear the Gentleman’s Alliance (Completed).]

[You have gained Golden Honor Medal ×1 (Honor Medal Level: Bronze, Silver, Gold, etc.)]

[You have obtained a multi-choice opportunity for a Derivative World (before entering the next Derivative World, the Hunter can choose to enter one of three Derivative Worlds.)]

[Prompt: Hunter has completed the task of clearing the Violator Alliance for the first time; as Violators cannot form Adventure groups, they mostly exist in alliance form.]

The Gentleman’s Alliance violated the rules as follows:

1. Ignored the main task multiple times.

2. Frequently disrupted other Contractors from completing their main tasks.

3. Profited from exploiting rule loopholes and severely threatened the stability of the Derivative World, resulting in the innocent death of 289 Contractors (Innocent death category: Non-normal competition, battle, and strategized inducement to death.)

4. Repeated contact with Void creatures with the intent to divulge task information, indirectly causing a Derivative World to collapse permanently.

5. Ignored Reincarnation Paradise’s warning and recruitment three times (Recruitment content: Ignored past mistakes, converted into a normal Contractor).

...

After reading about the Clown’s case, Su Xiao couldn’t help but marvel. Indeed, the opponent’s team shouldn’t be called the Gentleman’s Alliance but the Courtship Alliance, for giving up three chances to become a normal Contractor again is sheer folly.

Those who become Violators are usually highly capable Contractors. Reincarnation Paradise probably didn’t want these capable Contractors to be hunted to death by Su Xiao, which is why they were given three chances.

The saying goes, things won’t happen three times; after three times, Reincarnation Paradise would no longer issue warnings, but directly dispatch Su Xiao, the Killing God, to ’politely’ tell them their time had come.

In truth, the Clown died feeling somewhat aggrieved. Multiple Derivative Worlds of effort, he finally acquired the Demon Bloodline. At that time, Su Xiao happened to be present, so the Clown intended to test the Demon Bloodline’s power on Su Xiao.

The Clown, who was originally half support and half melee, met, of course, a tragic end against Su Xiao, who was focused on melee combat.

After that, nothing went right for the Clown. He summoned a Clowny Devil, who turned out to be utterly incompatible with him, thus not providing much help to the Clown.

The Demon God, full of justice, also known as Brother Count of Purgatory—considering with hindsight, one could easily imagine that at that moment, the Clown’s inner turmoil must have been immense.

But the Clown wasn’t an ordinary person; even when his limbs were broken, and the summoned Demon God was exceedingly unreliable, these didn’t stop him from utilizing the Count of Purgatory’s weaknesses rampant stupidity and combining with his spatial ability to devise a one-sided random summoning array, thus summoning the Nilapan Tribe.

After a round of hoodwinking, the Nilapan Tribe’s Leader collaborated with the Clown and was used as a pawn by him.

None of these mattered; the Clown lost, lost to Su Xiao twice.

Su Xiao stood on the rooftop, which could collapse at any moment, hauling the Clown’s body from the wheelchair. He sat down himself, drained from the consecutive high-intensity battles.

Lighting a cigarette, Su Xiao took a deep breath, a smile appeared on his face. No matter how clever the Clown was, he still won in the end; the Clown became a headless corpse.

With a whoosh, dark red flames ignited on the Clown’s body. Su Xiao’s heart tightened. Did the Clown have more tricks up his sleeve? But the hunting mission was already completed; the Clown must be dead.

The Flames of Purgatory consumed the Clown’s body, and a wisp of black ash was carried away by the night wind into the distance.

Exhaling a long breath, Su Xiao shook his head; the Clown was dead, slain by his blade.
