Reincarnation Paradise Park

Chapter 657: Chapter 51: Game Theory

The situation changed unexpectedly quickly. Su Xiao originally thought he would have a small-scale battle with the troupe.

But now it seems that’s not the case at all. The Clown somehow got hold of creatures that look very much like humans.

In a short video provided by Vini, Su Xiao saw the appearance of this creature.

This creature is about two meters tall, entirely pitch-black, with four eyes positioned parallel on its forehead. Its arms are long, reaching the knees, and its hands have claws, clearly indicating strong combat power.

More importantly, there are many of these creatures. Just from the short video alone, it’s estimated there are over 1,000 of them, possibly more.

Excluding the use of firearms, besieging the auction house with these unknown creatures is the best choice.

After the previous incident of the auction house being scorched, there are hardly any people within half a kilometer of the new auction house. What happens here tonight will not spread outside for the time being. Even if strange creatures appear, it won’t cause a sensation, attracting the attention of the V5 Organization or the Hunter’s Union.

The enemy has overwhelming numbers, with high-end combat powers like the Clown, the troupe leader, and troupe members. There’s also a large number of unknown creatures serving as cannon fodder.

Looking at Su Xiao’s side, apart from himself, Kurapika barely counts as combat power, but Kurapika’s fighting strength is only effective against the troupe.

Vini also counts as combat power. This girl is a top-tier cannon, which is why the Clown immediately turned against her intending to kill her when the main task changed.

With Vini’s long-range firepower, those unknown creatures would pay a heavy price to get near the auction house, and the Clown or the leader might be sniped by Vini.

As for cannon fodder, hundreds of gang members are gathered inside the auction house. These guys can oppress ordinary civilians but are unreliable against those unknown creatures.

Allies are too thin in number, so Su Xiao pondered. He opened the Derived World Contact Platform to check the messages.

[The Derived World Contact Platform has been activated. This function is free, with 6/6 speaking opportunities remaining.]

A virtual chat box appeared in front of him, displaying lines of text.

Kroning (Loner): ”Main task suddenly changed, any insights～”

Smokey ghost (Loner): ”Same here.”

Kris (Iron Wall Adventure Group): ”Worked hard to join the troupe for the task, only to see this?”

Big D (Loner): ”Is everyone’s task to attend the auction? That’s convenient, we can stay there for a few days, complete the task, return, and get Paradise coins and attribute points.”

Fans Girl (Hunter Alliance): ”Don’t dream, above,”

Old Wu (Loner): ”Damn, the Executioner from the Hunter Alliance actually spoke, rare. Also seeking the reason for the main task change.” 𝒻𝘳ℯℯ𝑤ℯ𝒷𝘯ℴ𝓋ℯ𝘭.𝑐ℴ𝑚

...

Su Xiao browsed the records of the Derived World Contact Platform, and several pages were full of discussions about the main task change.

If he’s guessed correctly, almost all contractors’ tasks changed to attending the auction, no matter which faction they joined before.

He keenly noticed that this was an opportunity. No one wants to accept a penalty of -3 to all attributes. If he exposed the Clown’s preparations, then all contractors would become the Clown’s enemies.

This heaven-sent opportunity must not be missed. Su Xiao had six opportunities to speak on the Derived World Contact Platform.

There were still some contractors in the Derived World Contact Platform inquiring about the main task, but most did not know what was happening.

Bai Ye (Loner): ”About the main task change information...”

After sending this message, Su Xiao remained silent.

Scorpion (Union Adventure Team): ”Brother above, what is this ghost, pay to read?”

National Foot Boss (Dream Adventure Team): ”The ruthless boss is really playful, 233.”

National Foot Elder Two (Dream Adventure Team): ”Strongly observing a certain fierce boss’s speech, waiting...”

National Foot Elder Three (Dream Adventure Team): ”I’m just here to watch the fun, what advice does the boss have?”

The National Team Brothers suddenly appeared and were polite, surprising the contractors observing the situation. They had heard of these three jokers but it was the first time they saw them speaking so courteously.

Su Xiao was not deliberately mystifying; he was waiting for more people to notice the situation on the Derived World Contact Platform.

As more and more people spoke, Su Xiao released the information he knew.

Bai Ye (Loner): ”Due to the Red Clown’s intention to ally with plot characters (Chrollo Lucilfer) to attack the auction house and prevent it from continuing, this action caused a serious collapse in the Hunter World plot. Therefore, all contractors’ main tasks changed. The Red Clown is expected to attack the auction house at 9 pm. The Ten Old Men’s Power has half-abandoned the auction. Once the auction is destroyed again, it will be forcibly terminated, and everyone’s main tasks will fail. The auction house is now fully open. All contractors are welcome to engage in the defense battle.”

This news caused an uproar among the contractors, as they couldn’t understand why the Red Clown was doing something so incomprehensible.

Red Clown (Gentleman’s Alliance): ”Bai Ye, I have to say you have a vivid imagination. If it weren’t for you controlling the Ten Old Men’s Power and killing four from the troupe, destabilizing the power balance, would we be in this situation? Auction house open state, is it already under your control?”

The Clown’s rebuttal was well-crafted and true to each point, whether it was about killing four troupe members or controlling the auction house.

Basen (Loner): ”Isn’t this the Clown? What, is there someone daring to smear you?”

Mr. A (Loner): ”Bai Ye, is the reward from the Cyclops not enough for you? Now you want to kill and explode Blood Cards?”

Lulus (Red Heart Adventure Team): ”Who to believe? Both sides make sense, continuing to watch.”

Because of the Red Clown’s timely counterattack and Mr. A’s unhelpful remarks, the situation didn’t change much. The Derived World Contact Platform is in text form, so Vini’s video couldn’t be shared.

On the rooftop of the auction house, Vini sucked on a lollipop, watching the Derived World Contact Platform, but she couldn’t speak up. The troupe’s reputation in Reincarnation Paradise wasn’t good, known as a gathering place for crazies and perverts for a reason.

”This time I’m doomed. That aloof guy clearly isn’t good at arguing, while the Clown is adept at it.”

Vini sighed, no longer expecting contractors to help defend the auction house. Once the Red Clown’s attack begins, it will be too late for those contractors wanting to assist.

Derived World Contact Platform.

National Foot Boss (Dream Adventure Team): ”Where is the auction house located? We three brothers will go scout for you all.”

Bai Ye (Loner): ”Yukexin, Tenth Street.”

The unexpected support from the National Foot surprised Su Xiao, as they were half-hostile before, having fought once.

As long as the National Foot comes, Su Xiao has a way to prove the Red Clown’s massive attack intentions on the auction house.

Due to Su Xiao’s low Reincarnation Brand Level, his speaking opportunities on the Derived World Contact Platform were limited. He only needed to wait for the National Foot trio to arrive.

Additionally, he didn’t expect contractors to believe him through the Derived World Contact Platform. With the information he released, all contractors would come near the auction house.

...

In a cave in the suburbs near Yukexin City.

”Already discovered? As expected of the man who could cripple me, this should be interesting. Let’s continue our previous game.”

The Red Clown rubbed his forehead with his index finger. Su Xiao exposing his plan was clearly unsettling for him.
