Dimensional Codex System: I'm really not a cultist!

Chapter 693: Chapter 692 This guy is really disgusting ahhhh!!

Fang Zheng always thought he had nothing left to fear.

He had fought Chaos, killed cultists, confronted intestinal creatures, and eliminated quite a few twisted servants of ancient gods. He considered himself battle-hardened and well-experienced.

But now, as he looked at the tall figure with bulging muscles, naked except for a few black leather straps and wearing a hearty smile, materializing out of the void before him, he felt all the hairs on his body stand on end!!

What in the heck is this monstrosity?!

”As you can see, the Red Faction’s BERSERKER is making his way from the depths of the forest, and if I’m not mistaken, his target is this castle.”

It seemed that Danik was also shocked by this bizarre Servant to the point where even his expression didn’t look very good... In fact, upon seeing that face, even the Servants showed a few complicated expressions.

It wasn’t because he was particularly ugly. Many of the heroes present had fought against demon beasts and even formidable giants. Nightmares on the battlefield were nothing new to them, but the problem was something else.

In the projection of illusions cast by candles, Red BERSERKER stomped on the ground, and in the next moment, the earth beneath him began to crumble, and several large stone statues rose from the ground and charged at Red BERSERKER—those were the Magic Puppets created by Coles of the World Tree of a Thousand Realms faction. As a Servant, this CASTER didn’t have the power to fight directly, but he could combat by making Magic Puppets.

Of course, one or two Magic Puppets would naturally not be a match for a Servant, and some could only take a few hits, but if the number were increased to several hundred, then the situation would be different.

However, even so, that creature showed no intention of retreating.

”Hahaha, come on, pathetic dolls! Let you rest forever beneath my sword and fists!!”

Shouting loudly, Red BERSERKER laughed as he charged at those puppets. He raised his right hand wielding a sword, and his left fist, turning into a human-shaped storm rampaging through the Magic Puppets.

The solidly-built Magic Puppets were as fragile as glass under his punches. As soon as the Berserker swung his longsword or hurled his fist, a Magic Puppet would shatter and fall apart. In just a few breaths, the Magic Puppets meant to obstruct the Berserker’s path were torn into fragments. The muscle-bound Berserker looked on at the destruction he wrought with a satisfied smile, nodded his head, and once more beamed widely, revealing a set of teeth that could be used in toothpaste commercials, and strode forward.

”...This really is a BERSERKER. What do we do now?”

Fang Zheng was completely speechless, shuddering at the sight of the terrifying smile of the Red Faction’s BERSERKER on the screen. If it were just simple madness, that would be one thing—he’d seen madmen before in his past nightmares—but this kind of muscle-crazy lunatic... he really declined with thanks.

”It doesn’t seem like the Red Faction Camp intentionally sent him, rather more that BERSERKER has gone berserk and is out of control...”

Coles, looking scholarly with his glasses, also offered his opinion. Hearing what he said, the other Masters nodded in agreement. After all, the Red Faction had recently lost one of the mightiest of the Three Riders, SABER. It didn’t make sense to send the BERSERKER to his death so soon.

If they were to lose BERSERKER as well, it would become seven against five, and then it might be hard for the Black Camp not to win...

”What do we do? Wait for him to come here?”

Fang Zheng shrugged his shoulders. In his view, since the enemy was acting on his own, then just let him be. If he made it to the castle, they’d just gather the strength of seven Servants and take him out in a second.

If he didn’t come... then he would just go back to sleep.

In any case, Fang Zheng had made up his mind. He definitely wouldn’t, and he wouldn’t let his cute little ones fight with such a moral-insulting lunatic.

How utterly disgusting!

If it weren’t necessary to keep his trump card hidden, Fang Zheng would use the Royal Wealth to beat him into a pulp right here and now.

”No, I want to capture this BERSERKER.”

But Vlad III gave Fang Zheng an answer that plunged him into despair.

”Are you serious? As the saying goes, ’I’m not afraid of a god-like opponent, but I dread pig-like teammates.’ This guy must have really screwed over the Red Faction; aren’t you afraid he’ll do the same to us?”

”However, in the Holy Grail War, we must secure every possible advantage.”

At that moment, Danik also spoke up, and it seemed he was very supportive of Vlad III’s idea. Then Danik looked towards the CASTER on the other side and said. fгee𝑤ebɳoveɭ.cøm

”So CASTER, can you do it?”

”I can give it a try. If I succeed, then I should be able to control BERSERKER.”

Fang Zheng was immensely relieved that he had Illya infiltrate as an ASSASSIN; if she had been a CASTER... Well, uncle B might look impressively muscular, but this pervert, despite being all muscle, was just a freaky big brother!!

”I will patrol around with ASSASSIN. The Red Faction probably won’t give up their Servant so easily. This might well be a trap set by them, playing right into our hands.”

Fang Zheng also offered his opinion—he was determined not to bring anyone else face-to-face with that pervert, because... it was simply disgusting.

”Very well, Mr. Fang Zheng.”

Danik didn’t object to Fang Zheng’s request. After all, the ability to kill Red Saber had proven the assassin combo’s strength. If it had been any other Servant, he might have hesitated. But for ASSASSIN, who excelled in stealth, this was clearly not an issue.

The final decision was for Fang Zheng to be responsible for surveillance, while Black SABER and Black BERSERKER would provide backup. Black LANCER, Black CASTER, and Black RIDER would work on capturing Red BERSERKER. As for Black ARCHER, he would stay in the castle, offering support and raising the alarm from a distance with his special skills.

Danik chose this plan out of necessity; the lure of Red BERSERKER was too enticing. He could, as Fang Zheng suggested, fortify the castle and wait for the enemy to come under the walls, then concentrate all their Servants’ power for a lethal strike.

But if Red BERSERKER truly was bait, the Red Faction would certainly not let their Servant come so close. Conversely, the Black Side could also use this bait to further weaken the Red Faction’s forces.

Of course, this trap-laden plan was risky, but perhaps because Fang Zheng had eliminated Saber, the World Tree faction ultimately chose this bold strategy.

What more could Fang Zheng say to that?

The mess he made, he must fix with tears if necessary!

”That settles it.”

Returning to his own room, Fang Zheng quickly explained the situation to the others, then looked at Kurumi.

”Our main task this time is reconnaissance and search, so be careful, Kurumi... Little Hei, come with me. Illya, you and Yoshino stay here. Although it’s unlikely, we must guard against the possibility of a diversionary tactic. It would be terrible if the enemy attracted our attention and then took the opportunity to raid the castle while the Servants are away. Understood?”

”Yes, MASTER!”

Clutching her magic staff tightly, Illya nodded vigorously.

”I will definitely complete the mission!”
