Dimensional Codex System: I'm really not a cultist!

RULER.

Hearing the word that leapt from the man’s mouth, Fang Zheng was initially stunned before he remembered that it seemed to be a special class level in this Holy Grail War. Danik had mentioned to them that because this Holy Grail War was different from the usual ones, the Holy Grail system had activated a ”Judgment” system and summoned an extraordinary Heroic Spirit to preside over the judgments of the entire Holy Grail War.

Of course, as to who that Heroic Spirit actually was, Fang Zheng did not know. However, it seemed that she was not summoned by a Master like a normal Servant. He could feel that she seemed to be possessing a living person... That was possible?

”So you are the Red Faction’s LANCER.”

The girl was not intimidated by the man; she looked up and gazed at the Servant standing on the billboard—Why do people in Golden Helmets like to stand in high places?

Is it because they’re not very bright?

”I didn’t expect to be seen through before I even drew my weapon.”

Facing the girl’s statement, Red LANCER seemed a bit surprised, but the girl appeared entirely unfazed, just staring at him coldly.

”Of course, I even know your True Name—Heroic Spirit Karna.”

”Oh?”

At this point, Fang Zheng was surprised; he had not expected to stumble upon such a boon whilst only coming to investigate. Not only did he learn Red LANCER’s True Name, but he also confirmed that RULER truly possessed the ability to see through the True Names of other Servants... Hmm, it looked like he had to hide Illya even more carefully. If RULER detected any issues, Fang Zheng might have to silence someone.

On the other hand, Karna was not at all embarrassed about having his True Name revealed; he just stood there, watching the girl.

”Being able to directly see my True Name, it seems you are indeed RULER.”

”Yes, so Red LANCER, what are you doing here?”

”... Don’t you think that question is rather stupid?”

This time, Red LANCER did not respond directly to the girl’s question. He simply raised his hand and quickly summoned a Long Spear that was even bigger than himself—this action already explained everything.

However, the girl seemed to have anticipated this, and when she saw Karna pull out his weapon, she just sighed slightly.

”How foolish, what’s the point in doing this?”

”My Master ordered me to kill you here, and that’s exactly what I intend to do.”

What’s going on, the Red Faction wants to kill RULER?

Seeing this, Fang Zheng was also shocked. He had previously sensed that the Servant harbored ill intentions, but he did not expect him to be there to kill the judge... But then again, was the Red Faction so confident? Weren’t they afraid of failing to kill and getting killed instead? She was the judge of this Holy Grail War, after all. Acting against the judge with a flying kick was like asking to be sent off with a red card, right?

Come to think of it, why did the Red Faction Camp want to do this? Did they do something that should not be known to RULER?

”Saber! Take action!”

While Fang Zheng was pondering, he suddenly heard a roar from afar. Immediately after, he saw a flash of Sword Qi appear out of nowhere and slash towards Red LANCER. Red LANCER quickly leaped to the side to dodge the attack. Then, Fang Zheng saw a Heroic Spirit and his Master he had just encountered appear on a street nearby—that was the heavyset Gold and his Servant.

Who was his Servant again?

At this moment, Fang Zheng saw Gold, with a smile plastered across his face, approach the girl.

”Judicator, that was really dangerous just now. I am Gold, and in this Holy Grail War, I am the Master of Black SABER...”

As he spoke, Gold suddenly turned his head and pointed toward Red LANCER not far away.

”Red LANCER! We all saw you attempting to murder RULER! Planning to premeditatedly kill the Heroic Spirit who judges the Holy Grail War is a blatant violation of the rules. Prepare for the judgment of my SABER, as well as from her, the RULER!”

Gold, filled with robust enthusiasm, finished his speech and then turned to look at the girl. However, to his surprise, the girl did not align herself with him as he had thought. Instead, she took a step back, choosing to remain neutral.

”If Black SABER and Red LANCER wish to battle it out here, I have no objections. Rest assured, I won’t interfere.”

”... Eh?”

Hearing this, Gold’s plump face suddenly stiffened.

”But Miss RULER, just now Red LANCER was clearly aiming to attack you...”

”Red LANCER is planning to attack me, and it’s completely different from going to war with Black SABER; as RULER, I have an obligation to abide by the rules of this war.”

”This...”

That idiot.

Watching Gold looking utterly dumbfounded and speechless, Fang Zheng also helplessly pressed his forehead and sighed. Even if you want to make friends, you have to pick the right timing. The fight hasn’t even started yet, and you’re already eagerly jumping in? If the girl can’t beat LANCER, it won’t be too late for you to step in then...

Now look, the victim we had our eyes on is out of the picture, and I’d like to see how you’re going to wrap this up.

”SABER, kill him!!”

See, he’s really angry now.

Following Gold’s order, SABER raised the two-handed greatsword in his hand and charged at the Red Faction’s LANCER. Soon the two were battling it out.

The wind howled, Sword Qi scattered everywhere.

Red LANCER’s spear thrusts were as fast as lightning, piercing out like cannonballs, while SABER swung his greatsword, creating torrents of wind waves that collided with LANCER’s long spear, deflecting his attacks.

”Is this... the battle of Heroic Spirits?”

Witnessing the scene before her, Kurumi couldn’t help but be astonished. The power displayed by both sides far exceeded her imagination. In her world, those magicians who utilized Random Domains could achieve similar feats. But that was always with the help of external forces. However, these two in front of her, they were truly creating whirlwinds capable of destroying everything with mere gestures.

With such speed and strength, even Kurumi dared not confront them head-on.

Meanwhile, Fang Zheng had summoned Ratziel and uncovered the real data of the two Servants.

”Hmm... Karna and Siegfried, is it? No wonder that fatso has been hiding and not willing to talk...”

Looking at the data of the two Servants displayed on Ratziel, Fang Zheng nodded his head, then lifted his gaze again to the battlefield before him.

From the current situation, SABER and LANCER were evenly matched, and it was unlikely that a victor would be decided in a short amount of time. Although the two were fighting fiercely, Fang Zheng, being a seasoned warrior himself, could tell at a glance that they were just probing; neither had unleashed their full power yet.

If that’s the case, let me spice up this fight a bit.

With that thought, Fang Zheng’s lips curled into a slight smile, then he turned to look at Kurumi beside him.

”Kurumi, you fall back first. I’ll go meet them.”

”Mr. Fang Zheng?”

Hearing Fang Zheng speak, Kurumi was taken aback, then frowned.

”But they...”

”Don’t worry, my strength is no less than theirs. Besides, you haven’t seen me in battle yet. It’s about time I let you see what sort of man you belong to.”

With Fang Zheng’s words, bright red flames suddenly emerged from his body.

Blades crossed.

The battle between Red LANCER and Black SABER continued, Red LANCER’s thrusts showering down on Black SABER’s body like a torrential downpour, but Black SABER was completely indifferent to Red LANCER’s attacks, just swinging the greatsword trying to find the opponent’s vulnerability.

In terms of skill, Red LANCER had a slight edge, but Black SABER’s physique was also not to be taken lightly; both were waiting for the other to show a gap, and then... would come the moment for a lethal strike.

Once again, Red LANCER’s long spear rotated and thrust out, while at the same time, Black SABER’s greatsword also descended once more.

But this time, they did not hit each other as before.

Because at that moment, two flashes of cold light suddenly emerged, blocking in front of each of them.

”Clang!!”

With the sound of impact, both Black SABER and Red LANCER changed their expressions and hurriedly retracted their weapons to retreat. Before them, a knight wearing silver-white armor and a crimson cape slowly stood up; his right hand tightly gripping a pitch-black greatsword, his left hand holding a silver-white dagger in a reverse grip.

The Undead Squad of Farron, the Watcher of the Abyss, had entered the fray once again.
