Dimensional Codex System: I'm really not a cultist!

Chapter 674: Chapter 673: I’ll hype this summon again!

```
Then let’s summon once more.
Looking at the system prompt in front of him, Fang Zheng nodded his head, then took a deep breath and threw the Dice of Fate in his hand once again... At least this time, don’t give him that idiot Goldie again!
”Swoosh!”
The dice was thrown from Fang Zheng’s hand once more, but this time, just as it was about to land on the ground, Fang Zheng suddenly noticed a blur in front of him, and then, to his surprise, one dice actually split into two!
What kind of move is this?
”Click.”
But before Fang Zheng could figure it out, the two dice landed on the ground, one showing a ”five” and the other a ”four.” Following that, Fang Zheng saw the dice begin to emit a golden radiance and then... they swiftly floated up into the air!
Light Orbs unfolded with the dice at their center, and then started to spin rapidly. Soon, Fang Zheng saw these Light Orbs begin to release golden Photon Particles... and then, they suddenly contracted together, condensing into a towering pillar of light that shot up into the sky!
And when the brilliance faded, two figures appeared in front of Fang Zheng. But upon seeing these two figures, Fang Zheng was taken aback.
Who are these...?
The first to appear before Fang Zheng was a girl who looked to be about ten years old. She had long silver hair, wore a white sailor uniform, carried a red backpack, and was holding a Magic Staff...
Is this... Illya?
Looking at the girl in front of him, Fang Zheng was completely baffled. He certainly recognized the face; if he wasn’t mistaken, the girl before him was none other than Ilyasviel von Einzbern. Fang Zheng was all too familiar with this girl, as he, too, had watched the FATE animation and played the FATE games.
But... wasn’t Illya supposed to be a magician in those? Why has she turned into a Magical Girl?
”Ah, hello...”
Seeing Fang Zheng sizing her up, the girl in front of him also seemed somewhat embarrassed as she gripped her Magic Wand tightly and spoke to Fang Zheng.
”Um... My name is Illya, I’m in the fifth grade of elementary school, and — well — a Magical Girl in the making. Uh... I might not be much help, but I’ll do my best! MASTER!”
”Fifth grade of elementary school?”
Upon hearing this, Fang Zheng was even more bewildered. If his memory served him right, the games had mentioned that Illya was older than Shirou. How did she become a fifth grader?
”So... your name is Ilyasviel von Einzbern?”
”Yes, that’s right...”
What is this strange development?
Looking at Illya in front of him, Fang Zheng scratched his head. He didn’t know what to say; the Illya he remembered was a child who had lost her parents, one who had become both innocent and cruel as a magician. But this person in front of him... a Magical Girl? Is there such a thing in the Type Moon World?
”Ahem, big brother, you’re forgetting about me?”
But before Fang Zheng could gather his thoughts, another petite figure appeared in front of him, smiling and waving at him. She looked almost identical to Illya, except for her healthy tanned skin and the outfit she was wearing, which was a mix of black and red that looked somewhat revealing and familiar... Wait, isn’t that Red A’s costume?
Is this Illya wearing Red A’s outfit and turned into a Heroic Spirit?
”You are...”
”I’m Chloe von Einzbern. Trust me, I’ll definitely be a big help to you, big brother. After all...”
As she spoke, the girl named Chloe glanced at Illya.
”... being the elder sister, I must be more outstanding.”
”Hold on, Little Hei, I’m obviously the elder sister!”
Upon hearing this, Illya immediately bristled with annoyance. The girl referred to as Little Hei simply waved her hand and, with a chuckle, said,
```

”If we’re going by birth order, then it has to be me, can’t you understand even that? You really are dense, Illya,”

”Wuwuwu... ”

Hearing Little Hei’s retort, Illya clenched her magic wand in dissatisfaction and made a ”wuwuwu” sound. Watching this scene unfold before him, Fang Zheng was utterly bewildered.

What exactly was going on here? Illya, who should have been a magician, had become a Heroic Spirit, and she was also a Magical Girl? And there was also a sister (or maybe a little sister) cosplaying as Red A? Was this the Type Moon World? Why did it feel so different from the anime I’ve seen and the games I’ve played?

”Cough cough...”

Although Fang Zheng still hadn’t figured out the situation, since he had already summoned them, he couldn’t just stand there and watch. So he coughed and broke up the sisters’ quarrel, then smiled at them. freēwēbηovel.c૦m

”Hello, I’m Fang Zheng, I’m pleased to meet you... ”

”Me too, big brother.”

”Hello... ”

Responding to Fang Zheng’s greeting, both Chloe and Illya were quick to reciprocate. Chloe appeared more lively, while Illya seemed relatively introverted. But no matter how he looked at them, Fang Zheng couldn’t see any trace of the naive yet cruel magician he had encountered in the game.

Could this be a parallel world Illya? What kind of bizarre setting was this, and wait, if I’ve summoned an Illya, then is this the Fourth War or the Five Battles now?

Come to think of it, why did Illya turn into a Magical Girl?

Fang Zheng’s head was swarming with almost too many questions to count, but he didn’t dwell too much on these issues. After he had introduced himself, Fang Zheng heard the system notification again, and soon after, more information appeared.

[Random Plot Triggered]

”Two Tigers, two Tigers, run so fast, run so fast...”

Just then, the ringtone of Fang Zheng’s phone suddenly started to play, and he quickly picked up the phone and answered the call.

Soon, a man’s voice came from the other side of the line.

”Hello, is this Mr. Fang Zheng?”

”Yes, it is.”

Hearing the other party’s question, Fang Zheng nodded, although according to logic, almost no one would know his phone number. But who knows what kind of random plot this damned Dice of Fate had in store for him.

”The Fourth Holy Grail War is about to begin, you have summoned your Heroic Spirit, haven’t you?”

”Well...”

Since he didn’t know the identity of the caller, Fang Zheng responded vaguely, but the other party didn’t seem to care.

”That’s good, the Mage’s Association has already sent people to attack us, but their attacks are utterly meaningless... However, this also marks the beginning of the Holy Grail War. I hope you can come to Tolifas immediately to meet us. This time, the Holy Grail War will not end in failure like it did sixty years ago, and our World Tree of a Thousand Realms will gain the ultimate victory,”

At this point, the man paused, then surprisingly chuckled.

”And as long as you help us win, I will honor our agreement and give you the reward you deserve. So, that’s that.”

After saying that, the man hung up the phone, leaving Fang Zheng staring at his phone, unsure how to react.

He was familiar with the Fourth Holy Grail War... But wasn’t that held in Fuyuki? And Fang Zheng remembered that there wasn’t an organization called the World Tree of a Thousand Realms in it. So what was this situation now? Why had the Fourth Holy Grail War come to Tolifas... And where was that, anyway?

What on earth was going on?

Suddenly, Fang Zheng felt that he knew absolutely nothing about this world...
