Chapter 665: Chapter 664: All About the Primordial Sprite

”Mr. Fang Zheng is okay, right...”

After arriving at the agreed-upon location, Yoshino turned her head toward the horizon with some unease and muttered to herself. In response to her inquiry, Kurumi chuckled lightly and reached out to stroke her hair.

”Don’t worry, Yoshino, Mr. Fang Zheng is not someone who gets into trouble easily. I believe he won’t have any trouble...”

”But that magician is not easy to deal with...”

At that moment, the Second Elf had a grave look on her face. She gazed at the nearby mountain range, full of worry and concern.

”That is the strongest magician in this world, not just any elf can handle him...”

As she spoke, the Second Elf reached out her hand.

Accompanying the sound of her voice, a huge book with a cross engraved on the cover emerged from the void and came into her hands. This was the Second Elf’s angel ”Ratziel,” which possessed an incredibly powerful omniscience ability. It could search for everything except the future and could even make fantasies into reality to a certain extent. This was also the Second Elf’s ultimate weapon.

However, the pity was that although this angel’s ability was extremely powerful, it did not come with artificial intelligence. This meant that unless the Second Elf herself wanted to know about it, it would not actively alert her to conspiracies and dangers targeting her. Moreover, this angel was not an attack-type angel, which was why the Second Elf was captured by DEM.

”Is this your angel?”

Watching the book appear in the hands of the Second Elf, Kurumi narrowed her eyes slightly, and the Second Elf nodded with pride.

”Of course, not to toot my own horn, but this is a very powerful angel... Alright, I admit it’s not much use in combat, but if you want to know any information, then this is the best assistant you could have.”

As she spoke, the Second Elf again reached out her hand.

”Now, let’s see how that young man is doing. He better not have been captured by that crazy woman from DEM... Huh?”

Unexpectedly, the pages of the book in front of the Second Elf did not display any records about Fang Zheng as before. Instead, the pages were blank, entirely empty.

”Huh? Huh? What’s going on here?”

Seeing this, the Second Elf’s expression changed dramatically, and Kurumi also leaned in to take a look at the pages before frowning.

”What’s the matter? Your angel isn’t malfunctioning, is it?”

”How could that be? But... oh no... could it be that those people from DEM really...”

As she spoke, the Second Elf glanced at Kurumi and then once again pressed her hand onto the page. Shortly, lines of text materialized out of thin air onto the book’s page. However, even though it was ”text,” Kurumi couldn’t understand a thing written on it. Not only that, but just by glancing at it, she felt somewhat dizzy.

But the Second Elf didn’t seem to notice anything amiss. Seeing the text reappear on the pages, she breathed a sigh of relief.

”Hmm... Tokisaki Kurumi, so that’s your name? The most malevolent elf, Miss? Ah... I see, so you needed my power and came to my rescue? Well, that’s not wrong to say, considering I am no princess and naturally wouldn’t have a Prince Charming riding on a white horse to save me... But wait, doesn’t the Prince Charming save the princess just to marry her and take her home as his wife? That makes it quite sad when you think about it. Does that mean if she wasn’t good-looking or had a nice figure, she wouldn’t even be worth rescuing by the prince? Hold on, before that, if the princess wasn’t attractive in terms of figure and face, she wouldn’t be kidnapped in the first place...”

Listening to the Second Elf’s mutterings, Kurumi couldn’t help but sigh resignedly. But before she could say anything more, a whooshing sound emerged from the sky. The next instant, Fang Zheng descended from above and ”boom,” landed next to everyone.

”Mr. Fang Zheng!”

Seeing Fang Zheng in front of her, Yoshino ran over happily and threw herself at him. frёewebnoѵēl.com

”Are you okay... Are you hurt?”

”I’m fine, the magician was no match for me; you don’t have to worry so much, Yoshino.”

Looking at Yoshino by his side, Fang Zheng smiled and reached out to pat her head before his gaze returned to the Second Elf.

”So... I know you must have a lot to tell us, but before that, let’s find a different place.”

Afterwards, led by Kurumi, they quickly arrived at an abandoned house in a nearby small city, and it was not until then that the Second Elf finally breathed a sigh of relief.

”I really didn’t expect to be able to escape from DEM’s clutches. Anyway, thank you, I am Nia Honjo.”

As she spoke, the Second Elf extended her hand in greeting toward Fang Zheng and the others.

”You can just call me Nia, Kurumi, Yoshino, and young man...”

”My name is Fang Zheng.”

Hearing Nia Honjo’s introduction, Fang Zheng nodded in acknowledgment.

”I’ve already heard about your Angel’s abilities from Kurumi, so you should be well aware of why we’re looking for you,” he said.

”More or less... But I don’t quite understand the specifics, since I’m not too keen on prying into others’ secrets. So... you should go first. Let me make it clear, though, I am a pacifist, and if it’s something too dangerous, I will refuse.”

At this, Fang Zheng and Kurumi exchanged glances, then Fang Zheng nodded at Kurumi, who took a deep breath and stepped forward.

”My request is simple, I hope you can tell me... the reason and rationale for the appearance of the so-called Primordial Sprite that emerged in this world thirty years ago, the correct coordinates and time of her appearance, as well as her abilities and... methods to eradicate her.”

”Eh...?”

At this, Nia furrowed her brows in confusion.

”That shouldn’t be difficult for you, Miss Nia.”

”Of course not. May I ask why... Okay, I won’t ask anymore, after all, it’s a matter of privacy. I do have some integrity.”

As she spoke, Nia reached out to touch the pages of her book, and soon enough, dense lines of text swiftly appeared on the pristine pages. Seeing these lines of text, Kurumi couldn’t help but hold her breath... it was the information she had always longed for, the information she had been searching for, and now, it was unfolding before her...

”Hmm... Mmmhm... Eh?”

Looking at the information before her, Nia Honjo showed a surprised expression, then paused and looked towards Fang Zheng, Kurumi, and Yoshino.

”What’s wrong? Is there a problem?”

Seeing the slightly odd expression on Nia Honjo’s face, Fang Zheng raised an eyebrow and asked. In response to Fang Zheng’s question, Nia showed a slight, somewhat bitter smile.

”This... there’s no problem, but to be honest, from my personal perspective... this information is quite fantastical. Well, since you want to know, I’ll tell you...”

As she spoke, Nia Honjo closed her eyes and took a deep breath.

”The Primordial Sprite... Mio Suginomiya, is a created elf.”
