Rebirth in Famine: She Thrives by Lucky Space

”Meng Lin, you’re here, hurry and come in. I’ll go fry the eggs now. The peanuts are already prepared.”

”Brother Wang, your braised meat smells so good.” Kong Menglin was drawn by the aroma, she hadn’t eaten meat in a long time.

”Really? Meng Lin, how much can you drink? I’ve prepared a lot of wine. If it’s not enough, I’ll go buy more.”

”I don’t know. I’ve only sneakily drunk my dad’s wine before, never really drank.”

”I’ve got you two bottles of good wine, and I’ve brewed two pounds of homemade liquor myself. I get tipsy after two taels of white liquor.”

Kong Menglin felt quite satisfied in her heart, Wang Dajiang was really quite nice to her. But he was really quite ugly, just like the book described as rabbit-headed and deer-brained.

”Thank you, Brother Wang.”

”Meng Lin, hurry and get inside, I’ve got everything ready. I’ll serve the dog meat first, you start eating.” Wang Dajiang urged Kong Menglin to come inside.

Kong Menglin didn’t stand on ceremony, she directly went into the inner room, taking off her shoes and getting on the kang. She saw two sets of bowls and chopsticks on the table, two bottles of white wine, and a jar. That must be the homemade liquor. There was also a large plate of peanuts.

She sat on the side with the bottled wine, which was also the head of the kang. It was quite warm sitting there, she had been alone last night without any fire.

Wang Dajiang came in with a big basin of dog meat, and the aroma filled the room immediately. He placed it on the table.

”Meng Lin, you start eating, the eggs will be ready in a few minutes.”

Kong Menglin didn’t hold back, she picked up a big drumstick and started eating.

In less than five minutes, Wang Dajiang came in with fried eggs. He also took off his shoes and got on the kang, sitting opposite Kong Menglin.

By this time, Kong Menglin had already eaten one big drumstick and picked up a second one.

Wang Dajiang took the wine bottle and poured her a bowl of wine.

He poured himself a bowl from the jar, ”Meng Lin, let’s have a drink first.”

Kong Menglin picked up the bowl and drank it all in one gulp.

”Meng Lin, don’t drink too fast, it’s easy to get drunk.”

”It’s okay. I don’t feel anything.” Saying this, she motioned Wang Dajiang to pour her more.

Wang Dajiang took a sip and put down the bowl, and poured her another bowl, finishing the bottle.

”Meng Lin, eat more meat, try my fried eggs.”

Kong Menglin finished another drumstick and again drank the bowl of wine in one gulp.

”Meng Lin, you really can hold your liquor.” Wang Dajiang said, pouring her another bowl.

His own half-bowl was still untouched.

”Brother Wang, why aren’t you drinking?”

”Haha, I can’t handle as much as you. The most I can drink is half a bowl before I have to lie down, I must drink slowly.”

Kong Menglin grabbed the chopsticks, eating eggs and peanuts bite after bite, and even two more large pieces of dog meat.

Wang Dajiang watched her eating and truly despised her from the bottom of his heart, thinking this kind of woman really couldn’t be with him.

Kong Menglin picked up her bowl, ”Brother Wang, I salute you.”

”Meng Lin, enjoy yourself, I’m already feeling dizzy.”

”Brother Wang, your alcohol must be better, right?”

”It shouldn’t be, this homemade liquor is at most 40 degrees, but this bottled wine is 65 degrees, one bottle of this could buy four pounds of homemade liquor.”

Kong Menglin drank it down in one gulp again. Wang Dajiang poured her the last half-jin of white wine.

At this point, Kong Menglin slowed her drinking. Wang Dajiang watched her closely and noticed her eyes were a bit glazed over.

”Meng Lin, have you had too much? Don’t drink anymore, eating and drinking are just for enjoyment, you shouldn’t drink too much.”

”It’s okay, it’s just a bit dizzy, this room is too warm.”

”You must have had too much, I don’t feel warm at all.”

Kong Menglin took off her coat, leaving just a white shirt underneath. Wang Dajiang looked at her figure and swallowed hard.

Kong Menglin ate two more pieces of dog meat, then picked up the bowl, ”Brother Wang, let’s down one together.”

”I can’t drink that much, I can’t do it.”

”No way, we must finish it.” Kong Menglin glared at him, she was really a bit tipsy now.

Wang Dajiang pretended to be troubled and drank all the white wine in his bowl.

After drinking, he immediately fell back. ”Meng Lin, after you finish eating, just leave by yourself, I’ve really had too much, I can’t keep my eyes open.”

”Hahaha, you’re so useless, aren’t you? I can still have another bowl.” Kong Menglin said this but couldn’t even lift the wine jar.

She tried several times, but still no luck. Annoyed, she climbed onto Wang Dajiang, ”Wang Dajiang, wake up, pour me some wine.”

She shook Wang Dajiang hard. But he just lay there, eyes closed.

Kong Menglin got angrier, simply straddling him, grabbing his collar and shaking him fiercely.

As she moved, her head felt even dizzier, and there were double images in front of her.

She fell over onto Wang Dajiang. Still mumbling for him to pour her more wine.

Wang Dajiang decided this was enough, ”Meng Lin, you’re crushing me.”

The alcohol hit, and she kept mumbling about drinking.

Wang Dajiang held her up, and she just looked at him and giggled foolishly.

”Meng Lin, I like you, I like you so much, what should I do?”

She giggled again, and Wang Dajiang decided not to be polite anymore, putting her down, pushing the table to the kang head.

Then pressed her beneath him, and kissed directly.

Even though Kong Menglin was dizzy, she wasn’t completely unaware of what was happening.

So that’s what being kissed feels like, she felt even hotter.

Wang Dajiang was not pure of heart from the beginning, seeing this woman respond to him, he felt even more disdainful.

He muttered, ”Meng Lin, can I have a look? You have such a great figure. I’ll just take a look.” Saying this, he started unbuttoning her shirt.

Kong Menglin just wanted to understand this feeling, besides, being praised for having a good figure, of course, made her happy.

Wang Dajiang recklessly stripped off the shirt, and even pulled off the vest beneath.

Seeing the view below, he really couldn’t hold back anymore.

He immediately started pulling down her pants, yanking them off.

”Meng Lin, you’re truly beautiful.”

”You’ve looked at me, I should look at you too.”

”Sure, sure, I’ll show you right now.” It didn’t take Wang Dajiang a minute to be stark naked and knelt beside Kong Menglin.

Kong Menglin’s hand touched his body. It really felt different.

By midnight, she was completely sober, she remembered what happened even though she drank a lot.

What should she do now? She was really frightened.

Listening to the snoring beside her, she frowned, feeling disdain. Marrying someone like this was absolutely impossible.

She got up secretly to get dressed, but almost fell when getting up, feeling like there wasn’t a single part of her body that didn’t hurt.
