Space Odyssey from Abandoned Mining Space Station

Chapter 537: Chapter 176 Experience_4

The Insect Queen also quietly parasitized the cities of the Mechanical Race, making its growth rate faster than when there was only an abandoned Space Station.

But even so, it takes time.

Although the size of the Insect Nest is already approaching a city, it’s still not enough to engage in a direct battle with the Mechanical Race and achieve a favorable exchange ratio. The Insect Queen still needs to continue developing.

However, an unexpected event happened once again.

When Chen Ming’s robots also landed on the Planet and entered the city of the Mechanical Race, the Insect Queen suddenly chose to reveal itself and attacked the city of the Mechanical Race.

The reason for this lay in Chen Ming.

The reason the Insect Queen suddenly stopped developing and gave up comes from sensing Chen Ming’s presence.

Through the scent left on the Gamma Core and robots by Chen Ming, which is the pheromone to these Insect Races.

Although for the Insect Race, many things don’t involve deep grudges, they are merely life-and-death matters on the path of survival.

So even if there has been conflict with the Insect Race, they are unlikely to pursue revenge mindlessly.

Of course, this is generally the case, but Chen Ming was evidently not ordinary.

Because he had previously left a deep impression on the Insect Queen hiding in the power grid section of the Space Station.

The first non-Insect Race creature encountered during a thirty-plus-year dormancy on the Space Station.

Harassing it every few days, stealing from the Space Station they had already claimed as their territory.

Killing numerous Insect Races and larvae to test weapons.

Damaging the Space Station that served as their nest.

Even making it wait pointlessly for half a month like a ’Waiting Stone’.

Any single one of these would make it impossible for the Insect Queen to let Chen Ming go, regardless of how the Insect Race typically does not develop enmity with other creatures, only engaging in a simple survival competition.

With Chen Ming causing such trouble, it was also impossible not to harbor resentment against Chen Ming.

Thus, the offspring of the Insect Queen on the Space Station, after inheriting its mother’s memories, obviously felt the same way.

When it sensed Chen Ming, it instinctively and angrily sent a troop of the Insect Race to pursue the traces of Chen Ming.

Then, the events that previously occurred happened.

At this point, Chen Ming had completely understood the whole picture of the matter.

He loosened his grip on the neural segment.

Lowered his head slightly, pondering.

The Insect Queen he was controlling now was not the one from the Space Station, but its offspring.

This means there is still a chance for him to encounter the Insect Queen from the Space Station in the future, and it will harbor a great hatred for Chen Ming.

Hmm...

It’s not a big problem.

Chen Ming now fears no enemy.

Furthermore, the universe is so vast that encountering the offspring of that Insect Queen already involves a very low probability.

The chance of encountering that original Insect Queen in the future is virtually nonexistent.

Wait a moment, as Chen Ming thought about this low-probability event, he suddenly realized something.

Although there are differences between Biological Spaceships and ordinary spaceships, they are very similar in many ways.

For example, they can both rely on Chen Ming’s Spiritual Energy to perform certain special operations.

Such as transformations.

However, transforming a spaceship requires Chen Ming to have the necessary technology.

And as for Biological Spaceships...

”Hiss...”

”Didn’t I just think yesterday that I would never need to study biotechnology in my life...”

At this moment, Chen Ming recalled a remark by Old Wu some time back, calling him a jinx.

He then thought about how he recently seemed to have claimed that he would never meet the Insect Queen of the Thorn Insect Race in his life.

Chen Ming remained silent for a moment and decided it would be better to say less and do more from now on.

Starting now.

Chen Ming then opened the biological panel again.

Although he knew biological spaceships could also be transformed, he had only just discovered.

That the transformation panel of biological spaceships seems to differ slightly from that of ordinary spaceships.

The section for modifying parts or the ship itself in an ordinary spaceship reads[Executable Operations: Repair/Transform/Dismantle]

Whereas for a Biomass Spaceship, this section reads[Executable Operations: Patch/Evolution/Decomposition/Genetic Traceback]
