Space Odyssey from Abandoned Mining Space Station

Chapter 529: Chapter 174 Biomass Spaceship_4

Chen Ming could clearly feel that when he held the spiritual weapon, both his spiritual power and spiritual strength would have extra boosts.

The original spiritual weapon provided a boost of about 1.1 times, but after embedding the spiritual stone, the strength of spiritual power was around 1.3 times.

The effect was quite obvious, to say the least.

However, for the task he was about to undertake, any form of preparation was not excessive.

Chen Ming was fully focused, staring at the elderly sky jellyfish through the supreme point scanning array, watching as it, according to his arrangements, skimmed low over the Thorn Insect Race’s nest before flying towards high altitudes.

The Thorn Insect Race almost instantly took the bait, and among the insects scouting outside, some immediately flapped their back wings and chased after the elderly sky jellyfish that was flying upwards.

Chen Ming immediately planned to intervene slightly, to prevent these insects from catching the jellyfish before it reached a sufficient height.

However, to Chen Ming’s surprise, the elderly sky jellyfish suddenly sprayed out a fierce airflow, accelerating upward by a significant height.

The speed was even faster than those insects, which Chen Ming had never seen before, with large back wings, slender bodies, very agile at a glance.

Even without Chen Ming’s coercion and assistance, it was doing exactly what Chen Ming wanted to see it do.

Heading towards space.

It was already nearing the end of its lifespan, and it needed to reproduce.

The instinct to reproduce was compelling it to perform such actions.

And this was precisely the reason Chen Ming had chosen it.

As the sky jellyfish soared higher, the surrounding atmosphere became thinner.

Those insects flying by relying on their back wings gradually lost the ability to continue flying upwards.

The glaring spiritual energy fluctuation was about to enter the outermost layer of the atmosphere.

The grand feast that was about to be within reach for the Insect Race was soon going to elude them.

At the moment when Chen Ming confirmed that the flying insects of the Insect Race had completely lost the ability to catch up with the sky jellyfish,

a special signal was suddenly transmitted back from the scanning array still scanning the planet at the supreme point.

The ground was shaking.

The insects underground had become active.

Within the range covered by the tower surveillance, countless Mechanical Race suddenly woke up, ready for battle.

Fortunately, Chen Ming had anticipated that the actions of the Insect Race might affect the Mechanical Race in nearby cities, so he had not arranged for his robots to enter the cities today.

Thus, he wasn’t affected and didn’t need to frantically deal with the situation.

And at this moment, deep underground.

Within the insect nest displayed by the scanning array.

The giant creature Chen Ming had previously seen, located at the core of the insect nest, was undergoing intense... evolution.

Evolving towards something very familiar to Chen Ming.

Watching the rapid changes happening on this giant creature.

Chen Ming’s heart began to race, and his emotions could not help but become increasingly excited, subconsciously saying to himself, ”Yes, that’s it.”

This giant creature protecting the internal insect queen originally looked quite symmetrical and elongated, resembling a spaceship.

But now, as the changes on its body became apparent.

Chen Ming could be one hundred percent certain that this giant creature itself was actually a biomass spaceship.

It had temporarily degraded some abilities while underground to build the nest.

Combining the clues Chen Ming had previously known.

He could confirm that the Thorn Insect Race definitely depended on these biomass spaceships to fly in space.

These biological spaceships naturally have the ability to accelerate to near light speed in space, or even enter superspace.

The situation regarding the carrier the Insect Race uses for space navigation has been confirmed.

It is a biomass spaceship the Insect Race themselves evolved.

At this moment, with emotions running high, only one question remained in Chen Ming’s mind.

Does such a biomass spaceship, in his spiritual determination, count as a ship he could control?

He is now, extremely curious.
