Space Odyssey from Abandoned Mining Space Station

Chapter 509: Chapter 169 Fan Chao, Extraordinary_4

”Oh?”

Chen Ming immediately understood the underlying meaning in Little 2’s words and asked, ”Have you figured it out?”

”Yes, because you’re special.”

”I’ve had some exchanges with Brilliant over the past two days and have learned a bit about you.”

”I don’t quite agree with its ideas, but I’m willing to try accepting them. Your spiritual energy might indeed be the chance for Dusk’s survival.”

”However, there’s one thing I must make clear, as it will greatly affect my enthusiasm for doing things.”

Chen Ming immediately asked seriously, ”What is it?”

”Please call me 2UAA1-MAZAX, not Little 2, thank you.”

”...”

Chen Ming was silent for a moment and said, ”That’s too long... can it be shorter, like giving yourself a name or something? Little 2 sounds quite...”

Chen Ming’s words were interrupted before he could finish.

”Call me Extraordinary.”

”Alright... speaking of which, this name sounds a bit familiar to me.”

Extraordinary did not deny the meaning in Chen Ming’s words and said, ”Yes, there’s a Fan Chao Research Institute on the human side, and I named myself after it.”

Chen Ming asked curiously, ”Do you have any connection with this institute?”

”Of course, the entire Dusk is connected to this institute.”

”The Fan Chao Research Institute once belonged to Speed Particle Technology and later became independent.”

”After its independence, the first director of the Fan Chao Research Institute, Fan Chao, was the creator of Dusk.”

Chen Ming’s eyes widened slightly, and he quickly jotted down what Extraordinary had just said.

He had never heard of such a thing, and history books had no records about it. There might be secrets hidden here about the AI war between Dusk and humans.

It’s never wrong to take notes.

After the explanation, Extraordinary said, ”I’ve finished. What do you need me to do next?”

Chen Ming cleared his throat and said, ”Little 2... I mean, Extraordinary, I need you to switch spacecrafts.”

Half an hour later.

Carrying Extraordinary on the Supreme Point, Brilliant on the Brilliant Level, and the Defender personally controlled by Chen Ming, they left the planet’s surface where the core replacement had just been completed and reached the orbital ring.

Besides Brilliant Level and Supreme Point, Chen Ming also brought an extra Defender.

Maintaining one ship under his control, with each Alpha entity controlling one vessel.

This way, Chen Ming still had two cruiser positions to use as needed.

Of course, Chen Ming himself remained on the Supreme Point.

This ship had many decent living facilities. He didn’t need to run over to that Defender.

After entering the orbital ring, Chen Ming didn’t rush to activate the teleportation engine but instead stayed there temporarily.

He was currently connecting to the Empire’s internal network, logging into various research websites using the few cards Bai Quan had given him before.

On these websites, Chen Ming could freely access a large amount of data on human investigations into the Mechanical Race.

This included the cities built by the Mechanical Race and the architectural styles of these cities, along with the functions and meanings of different buildings.

Using this, Chen Ming could analyze the city that Refraction had previously seen.

The situation of the Mechanical Race’s city might greatly affect whether there is a relic of another civilization here.

Chen Ming has long been eager for relics.

Since he first saw the Mechanical Race on Rimu Star and obtained his first Spiritual Stone.

Until recently, learning that Dusk found a Spirit Awakening Nerve Extractor from a relic, his desire for relics peaked.

Even up to now, Chen Ming still wants to witness a relic and see what another civilization has left behind.
