Space Odyssey from Abandoned Mining Space Station

Chapter 504: Chapter 168 Elite Individual_3

Moreover, Gamma A is currently stationed at the temporary base and has a special relationship with Radiant, making it difficult for Chen Ming to separate them.

Therefore, he doesn’t plan to directly assign tasks to Gamma A for the time being.

He will let Radiant manage it, at most ensuring it’s not idle by performing some simple tasks like assisting in transportation.

As for Gamma B, since it had previously visited the Pirate Space Station and been under Chen Ming’s control, it left obvious traces in Dusk.

Thus, it withdrew alongside Brilliant earlier and is currently within the Empire overseeing the command of the medium-sized fleet Chen Ming has left in the Empire.

Regarding Gamma Z, it has left no traces of interaction with Chen Ming and remains with Dusk, relaying some information about Dusk back to Chen Ming.

The massacre and blockade spreading throughout the entire star realm within Dusk have not affected it.

One can only say Dusk has no effective methods to handle Chen Ming’s matter.

They have no practical means to identify which individuals are under Chen Ming’s control.

They can only suspect individuals who have possibly been in contact with Chen Ming through his communication network.

If any of these individuals are willing to go dormant, they are put under unified management.

If they are unwilling, the result is singular—they are forcibly eliminated.

Even if these individuals were truly not under Chen Ming’s control, merely harboring their own ambitions or refusing a centuries-long dormancy, they receive no different treatment.

The upper echelon of Dusk approaches these matters with an almost absurd level of rationality.

Perhaps Chen Ming’s existence has driven them somewhat mad.

Chen Ming does not know much more, as his understanding of Dusk is limited to what Gamma Z has provided.

Currently, he lacks the capacity to manage affairs within Dusk’s borders.

He can only instruct the unaffected individuals he controls within Dusk to hide themselves and await future opportunities.

Now, Chen Ming must focus on his matters and verify the status of the remaining Alpha-level Dusks.

This is to proceed with what he intends to accomplish.

Chen Ming’s five Alpha-level Dusks include:

Brilliant and the Alpha Dusk he seized from the massive shipyard of Dusk, codenamed 2UAA1-MAZAX, both of whom he’s confirmed as logistics types.

One specializes in star system planning and industrial production.

The other focuses on scientific research and technological development.

Since remembering such a long code is cumbersome, Chen Ming decided to call the latter ”Little 2” from now on.

The remaining ones to be verified are Radiant, Flicker, and the Alpha Core given by Bai Quan.

The Alpha Core from Bai Quan is still dormant.

It needs to interact with Chen Ming’s spiritual energy to exhibit enhancements on its panel; thus, Chen Ming directly integrated it into the Supreme Point.

While sustaining an Alpha-level core requires considerable energy, the value of an active Alpha core far exceeds the energy cost.

When Chen Ming accessed its panel, several changes compared to before became immediately apparent.

[Dusk Alpha-level AI Core (HRYY1-APGU)]

[Manufacturer: Dusk B-01 Colony Near-Earth Orbital Industrial Facility]

[Alpha-level Core Enhancement: Energy Concentration Effect]

[Self-consciousness: Present]

[Computational Power: Star Zone Level]

[Executable Actions: None]

Previously, from the manufacturer information, it was clear that the Alpha Dusk from Bai Quan was not from this star realm’s Dusk.

Chen Ming could roughly infer the type of core Bai Quan provided.

Seeing the core enhancement on the panel confirmed his guess: this Alpha Dusk is combat-oriented.

Perhaps Bai Quan captured this Dusk individual in some battle.

The core’s advantage revolves around enhancing the computational capability when utilizing energy weapons.

Although it sounds insignificant, since weaponry doesn’t need intricate operations for usage, especially laser-type energy weapons where aiming is crucial.

In reality, while low-level energy weapons indeed require minimal specialized operations and calculations,

since acquiring the pinnacle of large energy weapons like the Speed Particle Spear,

Chen Ming realized that large energy weapons are far more complex than medium or small energy weapons.

Energy weapons are inherently susceptible to environmental interference, and battlefields are notoriously chaotic environments.

Therefore, using large energy weapons necessitates adapting to complex environments.

By subtly adjusting the output frequency of energy weapons according to environmental changes,

one can reduce the range loss of energy weapons by ensuring their operations conform to the setting.

Reduced consumption can effectively translate to enhancing the weapon’s power.

This is exceedingly challenging to achieve.

The requirement for computational operations is extensive, with numerous external factors causing minor deviations in weapon operation.

This makes achieving optimal results in practical combat difficult, and even with capable individuals or computers, interference can only be partially mitigated, rendering the outcome negligible and largely unnecessary.
