Chapter 2933: Chapter 1151: A Reciprocal Visit

Deeps of Starry Sky.

A pale green mist permeates every corner of this starry sky.

The twinkling stars resemble swollen eyes, blinking slowly and at low frequency, while faint strands of light connect these stars, resembling the veins and roots of some plant, trembling slightly with the stars’ flicker.

Yao XiaoMi stands with his head lowered, obediently immobilized in this glowing mist.

Earlier, the Black Snail had tossed the Sun of Buji Island into this mist. Although it hesitated for a moment, seeing the Sun not far away, it decided to reach out and grab it without further thought.

Then the mist spread around it.

The moment Yao XiaoMi touched the mist, he immediately felt his magical power boiling uncontrollably, escaping into the outer world, mingling with a touch of legendary crimson aura with the green mist, as if a distant moan echoed from the deeps of the starry sky.

”Shub-Niggurath!”

Upon hearing this name, Yao XiaoMi knew things had gone awry.

Gauze Nicholas, a slightly higher ranked wizard in the Wizard World; no one was unfamiliar with this name. It represents one of the most powerful otherworldly deities in the starry sky, also a being that walks a different path to become an Elder One.

However, in his impression, Nicolas’ image was always ’a gigantic mass of black clouds’ ’tentacles’ ’dripping, slime-covered big mouth,’ etc., having no connection whatsoever with the dreamy green mist before him—this was why he dared to charge in.

In his view, aside from a few key figures in the starry sky, other deities were at most legendary. Although he might not defeat them, snatching the Sun and running was no problem.

Then things went wrong.

His boiling magical power poured out of him like a floodgate had opened, and in the blink of an eye, he lost about seventy to eighty percent of his magic, while the surrounding green mist hardly changed. This was a Legendary Wizard’s magic power which could destroy a small Star Domain at full release.

Yet in this green mist, it melted away silently like snow in the sun.

”Respected Lord Nicolas, Goddess of Dark Harvest, the Mountain Goat of the Forest nurturing countless offspring!” The Jiuyou Academy Headmaster was slightly embarrassed as he had to reveal his identity: ”I am—”

”I know who you are.”

An enchanting voice suddenly interrupted the Warlock, and with this voice, the green mist before him gently swirled up, quickly weaving the silhouette of a tall and graceful Witch.

Yao XiaoMi lowered his head, only seeing her fishtail-like wide gown spreading in all directions at his feet like the roots of a large tree, connecting Star Domains, with tiny stars on the gown resembling eyes staring unblinkingly at him.

This put him in a dilemma.

Looking up would likely mean facing this supreme Mother Goddess of the starry sky.

Yet looking down still connected their gazes.

In an instant, this newly legendary being understood why many explorers described in books chose to blind themselves when escaping the Mother Goddess Domain—because she always has a way to make you see her, and at this level, seeing means getting caught.

Yao XiaoMi closed his eyes to compose himself.

”I am deeply sorry—” he felt no shame apologizing to Nicolas and knelt swiftly.

But she interrupted him once again.

”I know why you’re here.”

Her voice sharply contrasted with how the Wizard Encyclopedia depicted her, enveloping him from all directions, like warm flowing springs that made one feel utterly relaxed: ”—don’t let those small matters disturb us.”

Disturb us?

This slightly odd phrasing threw the Jiuyou Academy Headmaster off for a moment.

Soon after, the green mist swirled again, but this time in the opposite direction, and in an instant, his previously depleted magic was replenished and seemed more vibrant than before.

Then it gushed out again.

And flowed back in.

Yao XiaoMi felt himself nearly merging with this lively green energy.

”Banish!”

The insignia of the First University hanging on his chest emitted rings of Five-Colored Radiance, with a familiar yet unfamiliar voice reverberating by his ears, snapping him back to reality.

”Ah, sorry.” This time, it was Nicolas who apologized: ”—The exchange was too enjoyable moments ago, I almost accidentally consumed you.”

The cautious Yao XiaoMi couldn’t help but glance upward.

His gaze finally settled on Nicolas’ chest—not because of any malicious intent, but because the swaddling bundle in her arms had piqued his curiosity.

It was a cluster of white, gelatinous starlight, layered and cradled within two long, pale green arms, and just as Yao XiaoMi’s gaze fell upon the ’bundle,’ rice grain-like eggs began squeezing out one by one from its opening.

Feeling the deeply entwined aura emanating from those ’gel particles.’

The Jiuyou Academy Headmaster’s face twitched slightly.

”Terribly sorry for the disturbance.” The Legendary Wizard from the First University croaked out an apology, implicitly meaning, ’Forget the Sun, let me leave.’

At worst, let Emma hang up in the sky a few more days; he’d toil to find a new Sun or someone else could request it from Nicolas; in short, he lacked the capability now.

But Nicolas warmly rejected Yao XiaoMi’s apology: ”What’s the point of leaving now? Why go back and entangle yourself with those trivial things... isn’t it better to explore the beauty of truth with me?”

These words revealed too much information.

Instantly sparking Yao XiaoMi’s caprice, he subconsciously revealed his true form of three heads and eight arms, calculating with all forty fingers.

If foolish entering the Abyss.

Taiyi being battered into a ball.

Shi Hui confronting two Legends.

The red and black above Buji Island.

And the silver-white starlight leaking bit by bit through the layers of red and black clouds.

Anger, compassion, and indifference each flashed across his face, finally uniting into astonishment. Yao XiaoMi hadn’t anticipated that merely pursuing a snail would lead to such monumental changes outside.

”Do you intend to war with the First University?”

The Giant Ape with three heads and eight arms rose, for the first time looking directly at the tall, graceful figure.

This bravery didn’t give him a clear view of Nicolas’ face,

only a pair of enormous, blood-red eyes overshadowing everything.

And the message echoing from the eyes: ”—Yog is curious about the First University, not me. Your headmaster disturbed him not long ago, so this is merely a reciprocal visit.”
