Chapter 2916: Chapter 1135: Taiyi’s Weapon

Snap!

With ’Taiyi’ taking the first step, a nearly inaudible sound of rupture echoed in Zheng Qing’s ear. Without the need for deliberate probing, he immediately detected from the massive feedback information stream of this legendary giant god soldier that the faint sound was emitted after the Phoenix Robe was torn.

Following this information was a series of inferred conclusions.

For example, after the Phoenix Robe ruptures, the freed Qi mechanism of ’Taiyi’ would immediately entangle with the Qi mechanisms of two other legends in the Cloud Sea World. This would be his most dangerous moment. Because for low-level wizards, a world may seem vast and boundless, but to legends, being in the same world with their true selves, though not face-to-face, is very close, putting them in a very unsafe distance.

Furthermore, after the Phoenix Robe ruptures, ’Taiyi’s aura would naturally expand upwards, contacting the stars, alternate planes, and even the River of Time and Destiny filled with mystical colors. For true legends, this is a reward, allowing them to feel the charm of higher dimensions; but for a ’side door legend’ like Zheng Qing, such contact could be a mixed blessing.

”—Tranquility and concentration, clear your mind, walk as you usually do.”

Elder Ruoyu’s voice echoed over the altar, filled with a convincing force: ”Don’t worry about being unable to process the feedback information stream from the giant god soldier... most of that feedback can be handled by ’Taiyi’ itself. You just need to decide whether to move forward or to throw a punch.”

Being a ’legend’, Taiyi interacts with countless pieces of information from this world every moment, including the colors, shapes, proximity of the world as He sees it; the sounds, vibrations, and prayers and calls from the void that He hears; and the cold and hot, magic power density, space strength that He feels, all of which are collected and transmitted to the ’central hub’—that is, where the altar is—for final judgment.

If it were a true legend, possessing higher dimensional consciousness capable of simultaneously processing multiple parallel issues, then this grand information stream wouldn’t be a problem.

But Zheng Qing is just a little wizard not yet graduated.

He hasn’t even successfully registered his name.

Compared to the consciousness of legends, he is practically like an amoeba, incapable of withstanding the shock of massive information. Therefore, relying on layered magic circles to process most of the content, with him only responsible for the most fundamental, directional decisions, becomes the only choice.

Quite like a car equipped with an AI system.

Or a national governance system that rules with hands-off leadership.

Crunch!

Zheng Qing took the second step, stepping over a mountain range, but accordingly, he felt much more stable, and his relationship with the Cloud Sea World became a bit more intimate and harmonious.

Then came the third step.

The fourth step.

In the distance, another ’Ruoyu’ was still chasing Primordial, sending him running in panic, while the cloud sea rolled and roared with the giant’s running, the world trembled and shook under the giant’s feet.

Nearby, Elder Ruoyu looked at Taiyi walking more steadily and naturally, quite emotional. According to His calculations, it was nearly impossible for Zheng Qing to truly grasp Taiyi within half an hour. He initially wanted the young wizard to suffer a little, realize the true gap between himself and legends, and have more awe for this world.

But now, it was He who felt the awe instead.

”—Next, prepare for battle.” Elder Ruoyu didn’t hesitate because of a moment’s emotion, promptly changing the previous plan and earnestly reminding: ”Only those who are prepared in battle can achieve final victory. Among all preparations, being unarmed is the worst choice.”

Zheng Qing subconsciously turned around, looked around.

In the Cloud Sea, Taiyi’s action stirred up a gale of wind and clouds.

”You are not a wild giant, but a legend.” Elder Ruoyu’s somewhat speechless voice echoed above the altar: ”An ancient tree in your hand is not much stronger than a toothpick or chopstick...”

”Then where do I find a weapon?”

Zheng Qing asked his doubt with his mind voice, simultaneously looking up at the starry sky overhead, involuntarily recalling the monkey who ’borrowed’ weapons from sky and sea.

Sadly, Elder Ruoyu decisively interrupted his fantasy.

”From yourself.” He raised the cane in his hand, gesturing slightly at Taiyi’s waist: ”You have such a large storage bag hanging on your waist, is it empty?”

On the altar.

Zheng Qing looked down in astonishment, surprised to find his grey cloth bag hadn’t disappeared, very realistically hanging on ’Taiyi’s waistband, its size perfectly matched Taiyi’s stature.

He confusedly reached in.

Inside was empty.

The tools books, talisman painting tools, pre-painted talisman paper, gemstones, jade coins, gold beans, and most of his possessions had vanished without a trace, except for two items.

Zheng Qing felt the coolness and softness at his fingertips, his heart stirred slightly, extracting them.

A pocket watch.

A law book.

The pocket watch was a gift from his teacher when he was twelve, during the Battle of the Black Prison, he had once driven it with the power of a forbidden curse to pause time momentarily. If not for the black snail intervening, Zheng Qing might have had a chance to become a hero stopping the Sea Demon King’s evil plan instead of the culprit breaking the Black Prison Castle.

The law book was a ’customized’ purchase at the Shangyuan Bookstore using a gold bean before he entered the First University. However, unlike the initial version, this book now, after refinement by forbidden curse power, recorded only one spell, a spell he still lacks the ability to recite.

Zheng Qing held the law book in his left hand, the pocket watch in his right, looking at Elder Ruoyu with a bewildered expression.

”It’s either time or forbidden curse... is it always this legendary when legends fight?” he murmured, not doubting ’Taiyi’s ability to drive these two items, only feeling the choices were rather troublesome.

Whichever is used, it is extremely dangerous.

Zheng Qing doesn’t wish to accidentally get lost in the turbulent stream of time and space at such a young age, nor be blown back to The Land of Void by a forbidden curse again.

Elder Ruoyu raised his hand, extended a bony finger, knocked on his head: ”—Don’t forget the first thing I told you, ’use your imagination as much as possible’.”

Imagination?

Enlightened, Zheng Qing instantly recalled his charm gun—as when suspended by Montelio in mid-air—for a legend, the whole process became very simple.

Less than a breath.

’Taiyi’, who was just in a daze on the spot, reached out and pulled out a giant Colt Python from the void.

Crunch!

The sound of the magazine spinning echoed throughout the Cloud Sea World.
