Destined Entwining: Capturing My Devoted Beau

Chapter 694: Chapter 361: I’m a Big Girl

Kenneth Osborne made the announcement using the official AI Vision Promise social media account.

The message had been out for just a short while before eager buyers of the presale discovered it.

”What the hell is going on?!”

”Weren’t they still partnering with the Spencer Group for the presale this afternoon?! How did the whole team withdraw in just a few hours?!”

”Is this a scam?!”

”Don’t be foolish. I asked them this afternoon; it was all nonsense! Spencer Group is at it again, hyping up concepts!”

”Ha, you guys are too naive, haven’t been online for long, have you? Back in the day, how do you think Cameron Spencer made his first million? You probably weren’t even born then, hahaha...”

”Bravo upstairs, do tell!”

A string of tags urging the person to spill the beans, but that person ultimately said nothing, just tagged the official account of the Foster Consortium and said, ”You should ask them... I’m out...”

Soon after, people discovered the account attempting to leak information no longer existed—blown away.

What’s really going on?

Everyone was engrossed in the gossip about that villa in the suburbs of Capital City today.

As a result, AI Vision Promise’s announcement quickly surged to the top of trending topics.

After Lawrence Winters ran home alone, he waited for a long time, but Kenneth Osborne did not return. All he got was a message from him on WeChat.

”I went back to my own place, please apologize to my mother-in-law, master, and the old sage for me.”

Seeing this, Lawrence Winters became even more upset, angrily threw his phone aside, and went to the bathroom to take a bath.

Feeling down, he needed to soak in a rose essential oil bath to regain his composure.

To treat himself a bit better, he used the Bvlgari pure rose essential oil he had been reluctant to use.

This essential oil is extremely expensive, with an international price of around 150,000 yuan per kilogram.

The small bottle Lawrence held in his hand was only ten milliliters, i.e., ten grams, which cost him about 1,500 yuan.

Of course, he wasn’t willing to use it all at once. Plus, this bottle of rose essential oil had a purity close to 100%, so it could be diluted 1 to 100 when in use.

A large bathtub of water only needed one drop.

Soon, the faint rose fragrance mingled with the heat of the bathwater.

Lawrence Winters sighed with satisfaction as he soaked in the bathtub, closed his eyes, and enjoyed the relaxing aromatic bath.

He felt so comfortable that it seemed all the tiffs and unpleasantness he had with Kenneth Osborne today faded away.

His mood didn’t stay gloomy for long, and soon he was humming a song cheerfully.

”I’m a big big girl,

In a big big world.

It’s not a big big thing if you leave me,

But I do do feel

That I do do will

Miss you much...”

The old song wasn’t finished when his phone rang.

Lawrence Winters initially didn’t want to answer it, but the phone kept ringing tirelessly, again and again, refusing to hang up.

He had no choice but to climb out of the bathtub wrapped in a towel, walk to the sink, and glance at the phone placed on the edge.

It turned out to be Edward Foster calling.

Why is he calling so late? Could something urgent have happened?

Thinking it was a company matter, Lawrence quickly answered the call, saying lightly, ”Edward, what’s up?”

From his tone, Edward Foster could tell Lawrence hadn’t yet heard about the social media happenings, so he quickly said, ”What are you doing? How come you’re not glued to your phone?”

Lawrence rolled his eyes, ”Edward, it’s my off time, can’t always have my phone glued to me, right?”

Edward laughed heartily and said, ”Well, take a look at your phone. Your dear Kenneth has announced that he’s pulling out of your villa partnership, did you know?”

Lawrence: ”...”

”... I didn’t know. How could it be? Is it Spencer Group’s trick again?” Lawrence thought of Brooke Osborne’s antics today and got even angrier with her.

He opened his usual social media app and was immediately shocked by the trending topic.

And upon clicking in, he found out it indeed was posted from Kenneth Osborne’s company’s official blog account!

It even tagged their Great Heavenly Master’s office’s official blog account!

Lawrence quickly logged into the Great Heavenly Master’s office official blog account, finding hundreds of private messages!

All inquiring about the villa presale!

There seem to be many wealthy people in this world...

Lawrence thought sourly, then logged out of the Great Heavenly Master’s office official blog account, and to Edward Foster, forcibly restored his dignity, ”... I know, I already knew about it this afternoon.”

”... Kenneth mentioned to you this afternoon that he wanted to split up?”

Lawrence pressed his lips together, ”What do you mean split up? Such harsh words; it’s just ceasing cooperation. I don’t like his sister meddling, so simply...”
