Destined Entwining: Capturing My Devoted Beau

Chapter 687: Chapter 357: A Leopard Never Changes Its Spots (Third Update—Requesting Monthly Tickets!)

He didn’t write anything, just sent three huge exclamation marks: !!!.

Lawrence Winters understood, smiled, and nodded, saying, ”This is worth at least fifty hours of community service!”

Kenneth Osborne didn’t expect even Francis Johnson to be misled by Lawrence Winters, and couldn’t help but raise an eyebrow.

Lawrence Winters picked up the mouse and began modifying the image.

The ”crown tassels” at the front and back can’t be changed, but the left and right sides can be altered!

Kenneth Osborne crossed his arms and watched silently, seeing Lawrence Winters add a high platform on each side of the hat-shaped, flat-topped terrain, resembling closed pavilions.

He then added something like a tall flagpole on both sides.

Lawrence Winters pointed to the flagpole on the east side and said, ”We’ll hang our national flag here to suppress evil with righteousness, and once the flag is installed, no Feng Shui Master can change it; attempting to do so would backfire.”

”The west side is the downwind location; we’ll install the 5G base station here.”

”Kenneth, take another look, what does it look like now?”

Kenneth Osborne looked for a while and laughed, ”...It looks like a treasure ingot.”

”Exactly!” Lawrence Winters laughed heartily, ”The entire Geomantic Formation has turned from the Emperor’s Crown into a Treasure Basin, and those who move in will prosper!”

The value of the whole land hasn’t changed much, but for some people, it has become significantly less favorable.

”Now your evil-hearted brother-in-law won’t come to fight us over it,” Lawrence Winters said with emotion, ”We have to change this quickly, or who knows what tricks Cameron Spencer might have up his sleeve?”

Kenneth Osborne pursed his lips and said softly, ”I’m sorry, I brought you trouble.”

If it weren’t for his sister’s relationship, Cameron Spencer wouldn’t have used it to manipulate, making everyone in the industry think their bidding had already been ”predetermined.”

”It’s not your fault, don’t apologize for nothing,” Lawrence Winters waved his hand, ”I can tell the difference; your sister was also deceived by Cameron Spencer, so we can’t blame her. Go rest; I’ll finish modifying this image and send it to Mr. Johnson, and he’ll find someone to add the pavilions and flagpoles.”

Kenneth Osborne indeed had work the next day, with several important meetings to attend, so he reminded Lawrence Winters to get some sleep before leaving his bedroom.

Lawrence Winters busied himself with modifying the Geomantic Formation and didn’t sleep all night.

At dawn, he sent the revised geomantic design diagram to Francis Johnson, leaving a message: Mr. Johnson, this design is worth a fortune! But I’ve given it to the country for free, so I hope you can start the modifications on the east and west sides soon, so I can earn money with peace of mind.

Francis Johnson received the geomantic modification design diagram from Lawrence Winters and studied it carefully all morning.

Their department also had experts in this field and had made a geomantic modification design diagram.

But compared to what Lawrence Winters did, theirs was only a rough, artistic sketch; it conveyed the idea, but to actually build it, one would have to find an architect to draft a blueprint.

Lawrence Winters’s was a complete architectural design with various diagram data.

It included latitude and longitude of the locations, heights of the flagpoles, all clearly marked.

There was even an analysis of local wind speed, temperature, and humidity, with recommended and specified building materials.

It could be handed to workers to build directly.

This girl is amazing, turning mysticism into science...

Francis Johnson was in awe.

Of course, to be safe, Francis Johnson split her blueprint into two parts, one for each side, and gave them to different architects for verification.

By the afternoon, feedback from professional architects was back, indicating the blueprint data was completely correct, and when scanned into professional software, 3D renderings could be made directly.

Francis Johnson breathed a sigh of relief and sent the blueprints for the additions on both the east and west sides to the relevant departments, instructing them to start work immediately.

These east and west sides were also part of Lawrence Winters’s land, originally meant for natural landscapes.

With Lawrence Winters’s modification, the entire area’s geomantic layout had completely changed.

Especially the national flag on the east side, whose addition was most ironic.

Because with the addition of the flagpole, this area was now ”flag territory,” belonging to the national Geomantic Formation, and no Feng Shui Master could change this situation.

...

With professionals on the job, it took just a few days, and though the main site hadn’t started, the high platforms on the east and west sides had already been erected, each topped with a simple yet classic structure.

The west side’s 5G base station had not yet been installed, but the national flag on the east side was already flying high.

Cameron Spencer awoke from a dream, a sharp pain in his heart as if someone had stabbed it.

With a loud ”ugh,” he spat out a mouthful of blood, staining the white silk bedding with red spots.

Something is wrong.

He knew something must have happened.

This feeling he hadn’t experienced in over forty years.

Cameron Spencer fumbled to get out of bed and went to the bathroom to wash up.

Seeing his aged face in the bathroom mirror, Cameron Spencer’s eyes dimmed.

The Yangtze River’s waves are pushing forward; he’s truly getting old...

Pulling open the curtains to look outside, he found it was already bright daylight, and the elementary students had started school, it was time for the national anthem and flag-raising.

He saw the community’s national flag rising in the bright morning glow, particularly striking.

Cameron Spencer watched expressionlessly for a while, picked up his phone, found his driver, and said, ”I’m going out shortly; pick me up within five minutes.”

The driver quickly agreed and arrived at the community with the car within five minutes.

Cameron Spencer got into his car and said, ”To the suburban development site.”

The driver had run the route to that suburban site with Cameron Spencer several times these days and knew it very well.

Over two hours later, Cameron Spencer stood at the foot of the mountain and suddenly discovered two spiral-type platforms had been added to the east and west sides!

The whole terrain now looked like a treasure ingot with both ends upturned and the middle slightly depressed!

And on the east side, a national flag was waving in the wind!

Cameron Spencer unconsciously gripped his cane, the veins on the back of his hand standing out like withered branches, his face contorted with a grim expression.

Who the hell embellished this perfectly?

A perfectly good Emperor’s Crown had been forcibly turned into a crude and vulgar Treasure Basin!

The key issue was the addition of the national flag!

This is an irreversible change!
