Destined Entwining: Capturing My Devoted Beau

Chapter 669: Chapter 349: Success Belongs to Those Who Work Earnestly

Her gaze involuntarily lingered on the occasional plant taller than a shrub, making it easier on the eyes.

After watching the video a few times, Lawrence Winters planned to write a detailed Feng Shui analysis report.

To write this type of Feng Shui report, one must be very well-versed in the terrain, climate, and vegetation.

In fact, Feng Shui, literally speaking, is a science of climate, not metaphysics; it emphasizes the conditions under which nature and humans can coexist harmoniously.

Lawrence Winters’ Feng Shui analysis report, of course, has to start with science, before inferring to the metaphysical part, which is those inexplicable phenomena known but not understood, temporarily referred to as ”metaphysics.”

This kind of report used to be written by Nick Zeller, but ever since she was twelve and tried it once, she took over, and her reports are even more detailed and accurate.

Nick Zeller is happy to treat her as a Feng Shui encyclopedia.

If there’s anything she doesn’t understand, she knows where to research it.

Now that the internet is so developed, those willing to learn have far broader, richer channels of study than in the past.

So, the first thing Lawrence Winters did was a vegetation analysis.

Because she filmed the most bush videos, and the hillside where permission was granted to build a cemetery was the key to whether the villa complex could be sold successfully.

With current technology, vegetation analysis is very simple.

You just need to run it through some specialized plant identification software.

Lawrence Winters opened a commonly used plant identification software and scanned through them as she usually did.

Fifteen minutes later, all the plants were identified.

Lawrence Winters began recording the names of those shrubs.

Most were common, easy-to-survive species like spindle trees, privet, and hibiscus.

But there were also some trees mixed in.

As Lawrence glanced over, she suddenly spotted a very rare name.

Huh? Is this for real?

She became excited, such a tree in the suburbs of Capital City?!

She could hardly sleep, spending the whole night researching information on this special tree species.

To be sure, at dawn the next day, she drove to the suburbs with a specialized high-resolution camera to take pictures of the few young trees that hadn’t grown tall.

Then she uploaded them using her alternate account to social media, specifically tagging a prominent figure in the plant community, asking him, ”Plant Master, could you please tell me what kind of tree this is?”

That plant influencer received many inquiries every day and usually responded quickly.

But this time, it took him a few minutes to confirm the tree’s name, and he responded excitedly: This is a young Heavenly Water Iron Wood! Where did you find it?!

He not only replied to Lawrence but also made his response public.

His ten million followers immediately saw it.

A crowd of people became excited along with him.

”A young Heavenly Water Iron Wood?! Did I see that right!”

”This is even rarer than a panda!”

”There are only three left in our country, all are mature trees, an endangered rare species, a nationally first-class protected plant!”

”It’s rare because it’s so hard to cultivate!”

”The botanic institute put a lot of effort into planting a few, and they all didn’t survive, should I tell you that?”

In the wake of the plant master’s and numerous netizens’ excitement and urge, Lawrence Winters tagged the location with a smile, responding: I discovered it in a forested area in the suburbs. I didn’t know it was so precious. It’s such a pity that the area is about to be cleared for a cemetery.

The plant influencer was also furious.

He quickly contacted several experts from the botanical institute, informing them that an important rare plant sapling had been discovered, asking them to verify and protect it immediately if true.

The botanical institute had also been troubled these years about how to successfully cultivate the Heavenly Water Iron Wood; otherwise, it would truly go extinct.

Upon receiving the location information, they quickly drove to the suburbs, and following the coordinates provided by Lawrence Winters, swiftly found the two Heavenly Water Iron Wood saplings.

Coincidentally, these two saplings were each perfectly positioned in the middle of the forested hillside, like two monarchs each staking out their territory.

The botanists were ecstatic, as long as these two saplings are well-preserved, they can observe the growth process of the Heavenly Water Iron Wood saplings and provide the best information for artificial cultivation!

They certainly wouldn’t remove these two saplings, are you kidding?

What if they died after being moved?!

That would be a crime!
