Chapter 1340: Chapter 1341: Draw Him

The soldier who heartily laughed without any hesitation did not think much of it: ”They say there are Princesses and Commandery Princesses inside, but who has seen them? Princesses are Golden Branches and Jade Leaves, and Commandery Princesses are precious as gold, who would come to the military camp and suffer like this? Moreover, I have heard that in this women’s military camp, all the female soldiers undergo the same training, Princess Yi drives them to their deaths. If there truly were any Commandery Princesses or Princesses, would Princess Yi dare to act so recklessly?”

Upon hearing this, the other soldiers felt that there seemed to be some sense to it and nodded in agreement.

Seeing that everyone agreed with him, the soldier became even more unrestrained in his speech: ”Although the Emperor allows women to join the military, they should not overestimate their capabilities. Do they really think everyone is as fierce as Princess Yi? They should just stay at home washing clothes, cooking, serving their in-laws, and raising children. As for going to battle, we men are sufficient!”

Su Chengyuan, dignified as a Princess, could not tolerate such disrespect. She put down the basin with clothes and drew the whip from her waist, strode over, and with a flick of her whip, ’snap’, it struck the face and mouth of that unrestrained soldier, immediately swelling and reddening his face and mouth.

”Ah!” The soldier could not dodge in time and cried out in pain right then and there. It really hurt; it was so painful that he couldn’t even speak, only his lips and facial muscles kept trembling continuously.

This clearly showed that Su Chengyuan did not hold back at all.

Being so belittled, the other female soldiers were also indignant. They were women, yes, but they were also soldiers now. Why should they be looked down upon by other soldiers? No wonder An Jing always insisted that they train harder than male soldiers, so that even if the men wanted to look down on them, they wouldn’t have a chance. So that’s why!

So infuriating!

Thus, none of the female soldiers stopped Su Chengyuan from whipping that soldier.

The soldier was in so much pain that he couldn’t speak, but his companions were able to speak. Seeing their fellow soldier being fiercely whipped, they were initially shocked.

Then, those men quickly stood up, no longer sitting around chatting, and glared angrily at Su Chengyuan.

Upon seeing this, Du Aya and the others quickly walked over to Su Chengyuan’s side, the ten female soldiers thus forming a standoff with about a dozen male soldiers, yet the demeanor of the ten female soldiers in no way gave in, even surpassing the men quite a bit.

But the male soldiers, because they were men, believed that the female soldiers could not overpower them, so even though they were somewhat apprehensive about the aura emitted by the ten female soldiers, their outward appearance did not show any weakness, becoming even more fierce.

”You, as a female soldier, simply have no regard for discipline. Are you allowed to hit people at will in the military camp?” jeered one of the male soldiers targeting Su Chengyuan first.

Su Chengyuan sneered, ”I think those without regard for discipline are you. Within this camp, is it your place to prattle about anyone you please? And to prattle about the Emperor, Princes, and Princesses no less!”

The male soldiers immediately became frightened, realizing that their words had all been heard by these female soldiers, which, if spread, could lead to severe consequences.

However, Su Chengyuan did not care whether they were frightened or not, and coldly said, ”The Emperor has allowed women to join the military, and once women join, they are soldiers just like you. We haven’t competed with you yet, how do you know we are inferior soldiers to you? If we are inferior, and yet you are not better than us, doesn’t that make you even worse?”

Born a Princess and having witnessed great wonders throughout her life, the aura of superiority emanating from Su Chengyuan at this moment was indeed exceedingly formidable.
