Chapter 1178: Chapter 1179: If the Enemy Doesn’t Move, I Won’t Move

Chengyu just looked at Ye Zhi and asked: ”Ye Zhi, General Qi does not control his strength when he strikes, and you might get injured. Are you still willing to compete with him?”

Without hesitation, Ye Zhi replied: ”I am willing!” She always got injured when she was in the army before; she isn’t afraid of getting hurt.

An Jing was really worried. It was clearly agreed that they would stop when a hit was landed, but now when it comes to Ye Zhi, she might get injured...

”Then, Miss Ye, I won’t hold back,” said Qi Tengfei, an uncouth man who didn’t bother with pretty words. After saying this, he clenched his fists, ready to compete with Ye Zhi.

Seeing that Qi Tengfei was about to fight her with bare hands, Ye Zhi breathed a small sigh of relief. It was good that it was like this; otherwise, she wouldn’t stand a chance at all.

Thinking this, she also clenched her fists, ”Come on!”

Qi Tengfei really did throw a punch at Ye Zhi.

Ye Zhi, who was very petite and agile, reacted quickly. When Qi Tengfei aimed a punch at her face, she immediately leaned back to dodge while trying to grab Qi Tengfei’s wrist. However, due to his quick reflexes, she failed to catch him.

Qi Tengfei turned around and swung a couple of times at Ye Zhi, but she dodged it all nimbly.

Even after throwing a few more punches, it was the same.

Qi Tengfei felt like Ye Zhi was as slippery as an eel, making it impossible for him to grasp or hit her.

Of course, this could also be attributed to Ye Zhi’s petite size.

If Ye Zhi were as bulky as him, dodging his attacks with such agility would have been difficult.

After a few more punches, seeing that Ye Zhi was still dodging and not fighting him directly, the hot-headed Qi Tengfei grew irritated: ”Miss Ye, are you actually going to compete or not? With you constantly dodging, when will we ever finish this match?”

Ye Zhi looked quite innocent: ”General Qi, you’re quite funny. If I don’t dodge, should I just stand there and let you hit me? This is also self-defense, just like dodging a sword that someone thrusts at you.”

The audience, except for Xiao Changyi, burst into laughter upon hearing the exchange between Qi Tengfei and Ye Zhi.

They found this match very interesting.

It wasn’t like the previous two matches, which were very strict and serious.

Qi Tengfei was momentarily speechless after Ye Zhi’s comment. After a while, he simply stopped trying to punch her and stood there instead, ”You make the first move then.”

He was the one attacking all along while she kept dodging; he really didn’t know when this match would end.

It might be better to let her attack first while he wouldn’t dodge and would fight back.

That way, the match could end sooner.

But Ye Zhi didn’t make a move; she too just stood there.

”Miss?” Qi Tengfei called out to Ye Zhi, puzzled.

Ye Zhi then said indifferently, ”If the enemy doesn’t move, I don’t move.”

Qi Tengfei: ”...”

The audience laughed even harder.

Especially An Jing, who almost choked on her laughter. Her Ye Zi, when she starts showing off, is truly hilarious.

Xiao Changyi didn’t laugh, still expressionless, but he reached out to pat An Jing’s back, helping her catch her breath and feel better since she almost choked from laughing.

Qi Tengfei felt played and didn’t say anything, but with anger boiling, he clenched his fists and charged at Ye Zhi again.

Seeing how Qi Tengfei got angry after just that little provocation, Ye Zhi barely curved the corners of her mouth: Brother-in-law was right, this guy really can’t handle much provocation.

This time, Ye Zhi dodged again. However, instead of running away, she grabbed the wrist of the fist that Qi Tengfei swung at her.
