Starting Off Survival With A Small Treehouse

Chapter 313: Chapter 262: Alchemical Potion, Drink More Hot Water

However, let’s discuss things after all five people over there have met first.

As it stands now, Wang Lei is the only one left alone there.

Xu Xin glanced at the time; it’s nine o’clock at night, still too early to sleep.

So he went to the alchemy room, ready to continue his grand alchemical endeavor.

At present, there is still no way to reach the other five, and without going there, he cannot activate the coordinates. Therefore, the creation of coordinates can be put on hold for now.

His alchemy room has already consumed 380% of his enhancement points, and the success rate is already very high. He can’t just let it idle, so he plans to start making alchemical potions that can enhance the personal capabilities of survivors.

Currently, he has five batches of universal alchemy materials, just enough to make a few and try out their effects.

For now, he can only craft blue-grade potions. As mentioned before, he can refine blue-grade fruit into potions that permanently enhance survivors’ abilities.

However, he has used a strength potion before and knows the increment in strength. The increase is much weaker compared to the temporary boost after eating an apple (blue), but the advantage lies in its permanence, becoming one’s own ability, and it can accumulate.

Currently, the synthesis list of the alchemy platform has only four types of potions that can be made.

[Strength Potion (Blue): A potion that can slightly and permanently increase strength, requires Apple (Blue) *10, Universal Alchemy Materials (Blue) *1]

[Mental Potion (Blue): A potion that can slightly and permanently enhance Spiritual Power, requires Orange (Blue) *10, Universal Alchemy Materials (Blue) *1]

[Stamina Potion (Blue): A potion that can slightly and permanently increase stamina recovery speed, requires Apricot (Blue) *10, Universal Alchemy Materials (Blue) *1]

[Vision Potion (Blue): A potion that can slightly and permanently enhance vision, requires Large Red Berry (Blue) *10, Universal Alchemy Materials (Blue) *1]

The first three Xu Xin already noticed last time, but the fourth one surprised him.

”Enhancing vision?” Xu Xin’s eyes lit up.

Last time, he only skimmed through and didn’t look closely at the potion’s description; he thought it was a potion to slightly enhance night vision.

Enhancing vision... Blue-grade red berries themselves don’t enhance vision. Eating them only makes the night as clear as day, but things that should be unclear remain unclear.

Just like a person with nearsightedness; even with night vision, things still appear blurry.

But enhancing vision seems different.

Is this vision enhancement like his previous random enhancement, allowing both close details and distant situations to be seen more clearly?

Xu Xin thought of Qi Xuefei.

She was nearsighted, and they had discussed before how to treat nearsightedness, not expecting the solution to be in his hands.

Good stuff indeed.

He looked towards the other potions.

Hmm... No need for strength potion for now. He used a bottle before, and the enhancement wasn’t significant. Moreover, his strength is currently sufficient, with a long spear and explosive bolts in hand, strength is adequate; no need to be excessively strong.

Like today, he gained a significant strength increase, but besides crushing Ma Hongyu’s hand, it didn’t seem to serve any distinguished purpose, so strength potion can wait a bit.

For the other three potions, mental potion, stamina potion, and vision potion, make one of each and test their effects!

Blue-grade oranges, apricots, and large red berries in the backpack are very abundant, enough to make potions.

Xu Xin immediately operated the alchemy synthesis platform, using the available materials to make all three alchemical potions at once.

Looking at the three different colored ”juices” on the synthesis platform, smelling the rich and fresh fruity aroma wafting through the air, Xu Xin couldn’t help swallowing.

After all, it’s the juice concentrated from ten fruits!

He picked up the vision potion and drank it in one go.

The intense red berry flavor exploded in his mouth, accompanied by a faint metallic rust taste. The strength potion he drank last time also had this peculiar taste.

... A bit worried about heavy metal poisoning.

A wave of coolness flowed down his esophagus into his abdomen, then circulated throughout his body, eventually settling in Xu Xin’s eyes.

The refreshing coolness made his somewhat tired eyes immediately clear, and his vision seemed to really become a bit sharper.

Xu Xin wasn’t nearsighted, and he could already see things clearly indoors. But this potion made the world slightly clearer, though not obvious, yet indeed noticeable.

He walked to the window to look outside.

It’s nighttime now, with stars dotting the sky; outside wasn’t too dark, but still less bright compared to daylight.

He hasn’t eaten red berries, so he hasn’t gained full night vision, but now he feels he can see the jungle under the starlit sky more clearly than before when he hadn’t eaten red berries.

”...My night vision has enhanced a bit in a normal state?” Xu Xin touched his chin.

The effects should stack. If he uses a few more vision potions, he should be able to truly gain night vision that makes night appear like day.

”Nice, I can make this night vision ability permanent, truly making it my own.” Xu Xin nodded.
